Hey everyone. :)

As many of you have already noticed, the Loremaster Applications subforum went missing yesterday. This is because there has been a recent change in the way Lore Masters are accepted.

From now on, we will no longer be reviewing an application to determine whether or not someone is fit for the position, but instead we will be handpicking Lore Masters who we know will be fit for the position based on the work they have done for the community. Don't worry if you had an application in the subforum when it was removed, because all of the apps were moved to an archive that only Lore Masters, GMs and Admins can see, so we can still look over them.

So what does this mean for those of you who wish to be a Lore Master still? The answer is simple; get our attention! If you want to prove to us that you are fit for the position, then I highly recommend you start spending a lot of time in the Your Ideas and Lore subforum, either creating your own topics or constructively criticizing others, but preferably both. It's also recommended that you brush up on the lore of LotC by reading the Wiki or forums, because nothing catches our eye in a more negative way than lore breaking topics.

Besides the recent change in how we accept Lore Masters, we've kicked off the new method already with two new members to the Lore Team! These two members are Lagomorphia, who has written various threads with very well written lore including lore for Golems and Soulstones, as well as Everblue, who has spent more time creating, editing and reading the LotC Wiki than anyone else, making him extremely familiar with our lore and past events. You might consider checking out their profiles and congratulating them!

My first instinct is to say it would be nice if the community also got a say in whom they could nominate for lore master, rather than leaving it up to the GMs entirely, though I do greatly approve of these first two choices.
