Are there plans by the staff to keep this from happening in the future? It seems like we keep getting hit with downtime.

Also, are there plans to make lore for such a sudden departure?

Way to make the best out of a bad situation shifty. We all knew Asulon was coming to an end and even though this may not be the way we wanted it to be it will be fun none the less. For those of you concerned about items or things you may have built please remember that it's a game and we shouldn't be role playing for items or to make the best towns, we should do it for the fun. Here's to LotC! We'll always come out on top.

So... uh... why are we leaving Asulon again? IC, I mean. Because I've read the antagonist lore and this post, and I can't see why we'd migrate en masse.

Well, some of the events have not had the opportunity to occur and when they do they will help explain the transition.

Much of the lore and events will be versed & prepared in the coming weeks.

YES YES YES! This actually makes me happy. This is our opportunity to make the server amazing again, we just need to be careful now. We need two build teams, one of them making islands for us to hop to for the next two or so months, and the other to finish 3.0 and make it amazing.

We need to hype this up like crazy because without a map we will have much more opportunity to work on 3.0 just like how it was before Aegis. The hype was important, we just need to work with this now. Use reddit and post screenshots of our map on r/minecraft and r/imaginarylandscapes, makes sure there are links to the server to prepare people to join in. We really need to do this right, but we can make this amazing

I feel.. Tired. I think I'll give up for a while and take a break from LoTC. I never actually liked Asulon, so I don't care if it was lost or not; but I am a little doubtful about the new map.

I think the best thing to do for the staff is give an ETA on when 3.0 will actually get here. LoTC definitely could use rejuvenation and a fresh start after all the downtime and Asulon drama.

As we are now doing twenty different simultaneous things in order to get things back to normal, information shall be made available when we are able to release it. Just because we have had a setback, does not mean we are going to rush to create mediocre projects. In the meantime, we request your patience and your continued community support. There are many things to do on the forums from contests, to role-play, and games. Us here working on getting the ball rolling on many events to come shall be watching the forums to find promising prospects to help us make all the great plans we have coming up into a reality. Keep on trucking, LotC. We have work to do.

I am very dissapointed with the hackers that attack us. Well, With so many things going on at once, I believe even the staff will need help with this. I propose we give them ideas of possibly, the new islands we will be stopping by and maybe how to stop these continuous attackers.

Also as a note for my fair staff, If you need any help just PM me and I will do what I can to help you. With that said, no matter what happens, we can rebuild, as long as yu have faith and hope, we can overcome these idiotic attackers whom think they can put us down. But, we WILL rise over them and put them away, permanently.
