All the good horror is going to go away now.. Hannibal lector is going to become Swiper the Fox..

I love you Deco.

I'm sorry. I know I can't change your mind. But I don't see a reason why anyone should play on a server when it's appealing to small children in an age group who hasn't any business here.

I can understand the sex, because certain players go too far with sexual roleplay and resort to pedophilia and beastiality, those players need to go. The sex restriction was needed. But censoring violence is not the way to go, because you just killed a lot of villains known for their graphic roleplay, for example, the perfectionist.

I'd rather see an age restriction on this server than to restrict a majority of the playerbase. Bring on the 16+ policy.

I think the overwhelming message here is that people don't wan't their torture and violence messed with... Although some pretty great kids do play here this server never really has been aimed at young children and I don't think it should start trying.

When did LOTC become a game that needed to have it's own legal things and disclaimers? We are still a Minecraft server! As long as we abide by laws such as no cybering, we shouldn't have to write up all this legal stuff and act as if LOTC is a famous MMO that would get sued and shut down because someone saw something they didn't like. Maybe things like people doing it with bears and stuff was unneeded and creepy, but seeing text on a screen describing gore never harmed anyone. It's seeing gore in movies and RL that scar and really scare people, not reading it in Minecraft.

My humans characters ears where cut off by the Dark Brotherhood.. such a small RP event like that has changed the RP course of my character for the better. It gave me something else to improve with and I dont see a good reason for torture being removed. Great characters like Knox and Geo will be forced into a corner where they can't do stuff they once did.

No more do I wonder what they will censor next.

Now I'm just trying to think what's left to censor.

I myslef am a bit saddend by this, I love having happy, nice RP, just helping people out, talking, going to a tavern for a drink. But this? this, this is crazy! Why would people want all this crap on an Minecraft RP server! realy, most of us are adolescents, ((i said most, i am not saying that there are no adults, or children.)) mostly boys, some girls. And for some crazy reason, this is neccesary? that a playerbase of mostly adolescents is being told not to do, and say all this crap, we shouldnt be doing this in the first place! what? is your FTBing that important! I understand that sexual things are used to make the RP more "Realistic", but realy! ive been suggesting this server to people ranging from 9 to 18. as a fun, Dedicated RP server with a good community. Now? A dedicated RP server for teenagers, and that is PG13.....realy, Community of LOTC...you dissappoint me, and staff? thankyou for handling this properly... ((dont worry, im not goin'))

I do not think that censorship of violence is necessary. But that of sexual content is alright in my eyes. I respect the staff's decision, though I do not like it 100%...

I'm fine with all the sex nonsense gone, I don't see a point in it. There are websites and games for that, LOTC is not one of them.

But the violence, I don't directly understand why it's being... "nerfed." It may cause some mass confusion as the line for violence is pretty blurred.

When I do torture, if I plan on doing it to an "extreme" I usually ask the player if he is ok with how far it goes. And if anyone is around and if they say please stop, I would stop . Why make it a global thing whilst we could just make it more up to the player to find their comfort zone? I say this because torture can often make up the character, it can define who a character is in some cases. Now this comfort zone wouldnt apply to cybering, things like that of course.
