Maletone has always been no more than a warrior and I want to change him to make him something he always was meant to be but never achieved. Why do you feel you are suited for Job Choice 1: I feel I am suitable for choice number one because I have always helped people find employment wether just being friendly or it was my job to I have always helped em and made quite a few good friends from doing this job. I have also been a miner for half my life mining away in the dark caves i am quite used to gathering materials and the life that comes with it. I would be able to persuade people into such a job if they wish in the hall of labor.  I am also quite organized and can keep orginazation.

Why do you feel you are suited for Job Choice 1: The job description says I have to keep in touch with all major nations and factions, which means I will get to do some traveling, which I love to do and I get to do a lot of roleplay, since it requires a lot of communicating, which I also really love to do. But it's not all about me and what I want. Like I said in the joining the lower council question: I  want my character to be loyal and useful and I promise to uphold my duties and work to keep in touch with all nations and factions to the best of my ability and know what is going on in the world to tell the higher council.

If applicable, why do you feel you are suitable for Job Choice 2: I feel suitable for this job because organization is one of my greatest assets. I have to be and feel organized to feel right. It might be a minor ocd thing but I am a little bit nit picky about being organized, but does not mean it has to be my way. If I have to organize something a certain way, I am ok with that, as long as I know I am or something organized. With me in the treasury, you won't have to worry about being unorganized at all. And with the information I organize and gather, I can easily come into a meeting and give the budget  we have to work with, as the description says.

I understand while the title “VAT” may spark images of my character being a psychopath ICly that wishes nothing more than to overthrow the government, I can guarantee that will not happen. As proof, I've already risen the ranks of the Lumi'drim in an attempt to prove my character's worth. I am active both on the forums and IG, and I have helped in progressing Malinor's success with my ideas. I really believe I can be trusted with this job. ((Why, as a player, do you wish to join the lower council?)): I mainly wish to join the lower council for RP sake and to get involved with Elven culture, however another large part of why I wish to get involved is to reintroduce a Golden Age of the Elves back in Aegis, back when the Elves wielded a massive army of Wardens that even struck fear into the Orcs. As a Warden of the Lumidrim already, joining the Lower Council is the next big step for my character's progression.

Why do you feel you are suited for Job Choice 1: I prefer to consider myself an intellectual above all else. I am not one for swordplay or intense combat, though I am not entirely inclined to drift from these areas either. As a College Headmaster I could excel, and as a Scribe, the preferable of the two, I could soar. I pride myself in my writing and believe my talents would be well spent within the Princedom.

If applicable, why do you feel you are suitable for Job Choice 2: As an Ambassador, I’d be able to absorb other cultures and diffuse the better aspects throughout Mali culture. I find myself fairly persuasive when speaking with others, and I can easily switch from speaking with long, eloquent words to short, simple phrases. While I’d be more fitted as a scribe, an Ambassador would be another close match for me.

If applicable, why do you feel you are suitable for Job Choice 3: I may not actually be suitable for Naval Captain, and I only added it as I heard one was needed. While I might not be good on the open seas, I would certainly be helpful in handling paperwork for commissioning ships, managing soldiers and sailors, checking supplies that need transport, and other such activities. I could likely learn to navigate well and absorb the typical “sea jargon,” thus I feel while I am not yet fitted to be a Captain, with training I could be. However, I already have some very useful leadership skills which I've acquired as a Warden of the Lumidrim.

I am on neutral grounds with most nations themselves, however that is not the reason I apply for this position. In my time as an ambassador, I wish to improve Malinor's relations with the so-known magical orders of Anthos. I myself am to this day considered a member of the Mage's guild of Wyvernhym, as well as a known mage in Lin'evaral among the other mali'aheral mages. I have been accepted as an ally to the Arcane Delvers of Ac'telareh, and lastly I am on positive grounds with the greater figures in the world of the arcane such as sir Windraker and Ambros.

 

Do you have any work experience, if so where and what: Another reason I feel I am greatly fit for this job. My experience goes back centuries, beginning back in the days of Aegis. When I moved out of Laurelin as a child to join a small village nearby known as New Terriko, I became a diplomat there and soon found myself in the position of head ambassador for its relationships. In Asulon, I have a rather long curriculum vitae. Starting as a guard in Alras, I built my way up to Lieutenant and eventually became a diplomat once more. I was Gulroid Goldhand's right hand in the time the dwarves ruled over Alras, and after they sold it to our recently new citizen Kyral, she unfortunately had to leave to work in Aeroch Nor. This left me in the position of King of Alras, in which I had to do most of the administration and work in the nation, my council being limited to a mere four people, including myself. This century in Anthos, I have been head administrator of the high elven laboratories and lead constructor of the eternal library. The eternal library has found itself coming to an end after the Northern creatures wrecked it, however I still hold my position of administrator of the laboratory to this day. I plan to drop it once I gain a position in Malinor.

Explain how the high council works in detail: The High Council is Ruled by a Council of Princes and Princesses. All things that go through the High Council must be voted upon. High Princesses and Princes votes count for two, whilst everyone else's counts for one. Princes and Princesses have no allotted amount of time they must run for. On the other hand, High Princes and Princesses only run until they are either voted out or step down.
