Sounds like with a release like that there might be a large flow of new players, and a constant demand help... :3

*readies self for intense work*

On the other hand, as usual, as I have said many times, of course I'm excited. Maybe not as much as when I heard it was coming soon the first several times, but I still am. ^-^

Personally, I liked it when the world was shaped by the players, everyday, someone would move in, open a shop, start a business, anyone could build. Even the land disputes it caused made the game better. A settlement would pop up here and there, economic fluxes would occur due to a certain farm closing or a new mine opening. In Asulon, I wandered about as my character, finding tons of abandoned towns that were clearly made to be crowded with people trading and talking, but because of the protection, it was too expensive to buy a farm, maintain it, or have food shipped in, everyone left. When a town is made by players, it is made to last, with farms that can sustain the population. There is almost always someone there. It all had a nice flow that in other servers could be ruined by a single person who has a sword, so unfortunately, such an amazing experience will be lost, but I still have hope that somehow, the 3.0 LotC Server will surpass it.

I'm insanely excited, but what's the use when I'm banned?

I smell a 'Duke Nukem' Situation enclosing.

It comes down to whether you trust the GM's, admins, developers, builders. I do. They know what they're doing. It'll be released when it's good and ready to be released. And it'll be super awesome!

I'd just like to quote this here... I'll walk myself out.

I just want to put this out there. The map was nearly complete shortly after the Spawn was created.

^^^.. We'd be done if it weren't for the prebuilt cities..

What I am most excited for, are the plugins that will certainly be implemented. With this Vanilla stretch that has been going on since Asulon, I miss all of the amazing and unique plugin's that made this server the best. Surely, with 3.0, this very same feeling will be implemented back into the gameplay to help enhance the Roleplay experience!

And if it doesn't....then I will be sorely disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the Role play is fun and player created. But, it's just, I miss people looking to me because I could cook three slices of ham from a raw slice of pork. I miss Farming crops that no one else could even dream of growing. And I miss catching 3 fish in one pull of my fishing pole, because I had put in the time and effort to level such a slow class to such a high level.
