Mali'aheral Housing And Citizenship

Name: Aticus Thilln'Maehr

((MCName)): AdmiralWalrus

Origins of your birth, and your place of living: I was born in the lands of Asulon, 125 years ago from this date. As a child, we lived in a small Mali'Aheral community. Both of my parents were Mali'Thill, my mother was a scholar and my father an alchemist, and scholar. Due to some problems, I was forced to retreat to the Mali'Ame city, and here I learned what it truly mean to be ne'thill, to be void of knowledge and full of barbarism. When I returned, I discovered that both of my parents were dead, which was a truly difficult thing to take on at first, but as time passed, I got over my childish behavior, as I realised that shedding tears was something ne'thill, and that I must learn to live with hardships, and so I did. Despite my rough childhood, I never gave up my ways, and never gave in to the so called 'temptations' that were offered to me by the ne'thill  bortu, uruks, and worst of all, the valah.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill?: Like both of my parents, I am Mali'thill. As all of those who are thill, I was taught that we, our race, the Mali'aheral, are the greatest of all races, as we truly are. I am skilled in the alchemy and arcane theory, yet I have yet to learn any magic. I seldom make contact with those who are not mali'aheral, as they are all ne'thill. Not once have i given in to the curse of the bortu, nor do I ever use our blessed language to speak vile words. I am not tempted by 'adventure' and 'curiostiy', as I can get all my answers from the books found in our sacred cihi.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi?: I grow sick of lingering around ne'thill races, seeing them stride the roads and living in their horrid structures of crude stone and wood. I seek enlightement and sanctuary in the cihi of the Mali'Aheral, and refuse to live anywhere else, as I fear i might become ne'thill myself by lingering around ne'thill races.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race?: My vision is quite simple of our blessed race: we are the only race that was meant to speak, read, write, or exist in general. I view the other races as imperfections; leftovers from the fantastic creation that was us. They were lucky that we were created so that the little  filth and imperfections of us could become them. I crave for that day that we will rule this pane of the void, as we were meant to.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you?:  To me it means wisdom, development, and well being. A true word of wisdom it is, as it speaks for all that we Mali'Aheral live for, learning, deveopling, and being well in general. To me, this phrase is the definition of thill, purity.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, the definition of purity itself. I take this to heart because all Mali'Aheral should follow this phrase to be considered thill. There are many other phrases that I do find wise and well spoken, but the definition of purity must be taken to heart so that oen may become pure.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college?: Alchemy, more precisely the description of the four elements in detail.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together?: I would make sure that someone so ne'thill never sets foot on our sacred cihi, by identifying him one way or another and proclaiming him ne'thill in front of all the Mali'Aheral I could find. A Mali'Aheral does not mix with the disgusting beloun people that are the Valah, and surely not with the brutes of the tos that are the Uruks. This Mali'Aheral is ne'thill, and shall be treated as such. Other than this i would do nothing more or less, as by talking to this Mali'ne'thill i could risk contaminating myself simply by standing around him and feeling his presence.

*a dove flies into Lin'everal, holding a scroll within it's claws. If caught, the scroll reveals to have long, cursive lettering in a light blue ink, information all over the page*

Name: Hiylu Lysiloma

((MCName)): Ionmaster

Origins of your birth, and your place of living:

Aegis (Late Aegis, maybe after Laurelin fell? This is due to her being 80, and as I asked around the community, this is what I got :P) I currently don’t live anywhere, not feeling the need for a lin at the moment, though, if this is thought to be ma’ayla or at the very least ayla of an application into Lin’everal, I would like yalir inside the ma’leyu cihi of the Mali’aheral.

NOTE: I am not aver or an avern, nor am I confused. I just didn’t wish to tie myself to a place filled with impure or lesser people than the Mali’aheral.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill?

I can proclaim that I am Mali’thill due to my long ears, my fair, slightly gold tinted skin, my eyes, and my hair. Though, these are physical attributes towards showing that I am Mali’thill. There are many other ways I can show that I am Mali’thill both in my body and mind.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi?

It was a combination of thirst of knowledge, dislike of being around slack-jawed IMBECILES and out of sheer boredom. You cannot imagine how HARD it is to find a PROPER person to speak to in Leumalin. It’s all, ‘The humans will kill us all!’ or ‘Get out of my way, high elf.’ It seems that mali cannot be civil towards us! And then there’s the books! Ah, how I detest how few GOOD books they have, it’s like they want their whole population to be filled to the brim with mali who don’t even know how to count.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race?

To keep, restore, make, and hide knowledge for and from the world. We need to keep knowledge to keep we Mali’Aheral strong, and pure. We need to restore knowledge to keep it from falling into the darkness of stupidity. We need to make knowledge and add to it to make sure that future generations of Mali’Aheral are more intelligent than the last generation. We need to hide knowledge so that it might not fall into the wrong hands, for knowledge is power, and power can destroy, and not let unwritten history be burned as it has since before I was born.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you?

Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya means to me, the strength of the Mali’Aheral, why we are the Blessed of Malin. We, unlike the tree worshiping Mali’Ame or the moon-worshiping Mali’Ker, do not look to ‘Sky Beings’ for help, we look to ourselves, our own powers, be them magic, knowledge, or simply reading, to help with problems. We further develop our culture, further evolve our people for the Mali’thill, not the impure.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why:

Taelu ito yalir. “To learn is to live.” It’s a phrase I made, I know it might be simple, due to my sadly limited grasp on the elven language, but it still speaks something to me. When I started my campaign to learn more about the world around me, I never thought what would happen. What happened was I found what it meant for me, to live. Without knowledge, I would not be ‘living’ per se, due to my mind not trying to work around a problem, or a new language even. To have a constantly working mind is to live constantly, without dull moments (even if the dull moments might be exciting for others).

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college?

There are many subjects I could submit into the college. Math, writing, language, history, philosophy, riddles... though I do think that my own autobiography will do, no? Or maybe a book of riddles?

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together?

Now, it could be one of two things. Oem, he or she could be kidnapped, enslaved or whatnot (as it is common for uruks to go and kidnap, enslave, and kill mali, though not necessarily in that order), or, he or she could be traveling of free will. I would try to talk some sense into him or her after the uruk and the valah have left, though, if it was the latter as unlikely it would be that a mali’aheral would venture far from Lin’everal, though, stranger things have happened, I would think he or she’d start calling them it’s ‘llir’, or maybe he or she has bonded to his possible kidnappers, as it happens if a kidnapped person is around them for too long ((I am talking about Stolkholm syndrome, look here if you wish to know more about this unfortunate phenomenon of the mind: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome)). At this point, I would either just stop talking to him or her, and begin to ignore the mali completely, as it WOULD most likely be past redemption or I’d try to convince them otherwise. However, if he or she was enslaved/kidnapped, I would try to free him or her, however unlikely it would be that it was enslaved, due to most Mali’thill living within Lin’everal, as it would be assumed. Why would we want to live anywhere else?

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral?

*this field is left blank*

*Alianora strolls along in the library, looking around. She notices the stack of papers, and walks over to investigate. Later, you can find her off in a corner, filling out the application with a nice red ink. The application reads in nice swirly handwriting:

Name:
Alianora Lysiloma

((MCName)): BadPumkin987

Origins of your birth, and your place of living:
I originate from the middle of Aegis. My Maln, Rimion Lysiloma, and my haelun, Caelria Lysiloma being my family at the time being. Then, my sister, Hiylu Lysiloma, was borne. I now amble around Anthos, searching for a cihi that had Mali’thill like myself.
((Parents are not real, btw))

How can you declare you are Mali'thill?:
I declare myself a true Mali’thill as my appearance and intellectual. My green eyes and fair skin show that I am pure.
My maln and haelun were Mali’thill, along with my ancestry.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi?
I have grown weary, having to deal with lesser-beings such as those impure mali back in Leumalin. Upon finding Lin’evaral, I see a chance to escape them and be with my own kind; Mali’thill.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race?
As the superior race, I assume we will grow powerful, ridding the land of all un-thill races, the filthy things they are.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you?
Creation of knowledge and spreading it to other, lesser-beings that don’t have any.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why:
Cinh’ane, or never stop. This is my personal motto, as I try to never leave an activity unfinished. or undone.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college?
Poetry.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together?
I would react as so:
As I see the unusual trio, I would gasp. Obviously, this Mali’aheral was being taken against its will! I would then notice that it didn’t seem to have any problem walking with the greenskin or Valah, and assume it was impure. Then, I would turn away in disgust and walk off.

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral?
None that I am currently aware of.

After speaking with Silvos Sythaerin, Zaniil entered the library with his completed application and set it down to be reviewed.

Name: Zaniil Tinuvriel

((MCName)): Smawton

Origins of your birth, and your place of living:

I was born within a High Elven hold, to a pair of Mali’aheral later set with the task of acquiring knowledge from lands afar. My brother and I decided to remain within the settlement, not yet wise enough to handle the harsh landscapes and possible encounters with scruffian races.

The passing of time had fuelled our burning curiosity, and we began to venture into the nearby forests in search of tangible and first-hand evidence, of the fresh flora and fauna we had been reading of in tomes of old. As we grew more knowledgeable, the prospect of returning to the city with relics and new information possessed our minds.

We parted from our kin with the promise of intrigue upon our return. Hitherto we have been unable to satisfy our goals, but have learnt a great deal of life’s struggles and the importance of sanctuary. The races that share our world are corrupted with greed, and will do nothing to surpass their physical urges. It is time for us to return to thill lands to hone our crafts into fine arts to share with those who can benefit from them. I should like to dwell within this cihi, to learn from the citizens present and to contribute to maehr'sae hiylun'ehya.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill?

My place of birth and the comments of the citizens within it would seem to suggest my purity. A simple glance with the primitive senses would make it quite obvious as well.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi?

I wish to become a citizen so that I may live once again amongst my kin, and to contribute to and gain from the vast wealth of knowledge accumulated within these walls.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race?

I see our prosperity growing greater still, with the emphasis on logic and curiosity maintained.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you?

The saying highlights the most important factors in life. To continue, ever expanding the great intellects we have, and to maintain our health so that our wisdom can continue to impact our society.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why:

I am unfamiliar of the translation, but it would be:
“A moment without entertainment is a breath wasted.“
One should develop a fondness for the life of the thill, for ours is surely a blessed one.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college?

When I have the materials to do so, I will write of my aspiration for uncovering relics, and shall continue to add to it as my experiences become more frequent.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together?

I would question whether the Mali’aheral had been captured or not, and would venture to the cihi in search of aid, relaying his/her appearance in the hope of understanding more about them.

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral?

I am proficient in the craftsmanship of projectiles and clothing, which I wish to enhance into an art form when given the right to live amongst my kin.

Name: Evarir’Ayla

((MCName)): Megazero34

Origins of your birth, and your place of living: I cannot recall the name of my place of birth, although I have lived amongst the Valah for most of my life. This by no means indicates that I am not thill. My parents were wise and raised me as a proper Mali'aheral, although they were more lenient towards my choice of companions than I would have been. Until recently I have resided in the Valah city of Abresi, and if you are willing, will soon reside in blessed Haelun'or.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? I can declare I am
Mali’thill for my parents were Mali’Thill. In addition, I can point to my pale
golden skin, my golden hair, and my purple eyes.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? I seek the company
of my own kind so that I may investigate the mysteries free from ridicule from
the witless Valah. To share company with educated individuals that are not
convinced that they are superior to a Mali’aheral even when upon the cusp of
death.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? The
advancement of Knowledge, Wisdom, and to further the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya
however I may.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? To advance the
Mali’aheral in both purity and knowledge.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please
explain why:
Sul’leyun. I take this phrase to heart for every Mali’aheral has a
brilliant light within them that the lesser races can only envy.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the
college?
The subject of my first book to be submitted will likely be a
collection of my observations on the behaviors of the various breeds of Aelor
(dogs) you may find in Oren.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and
unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together?
I would be appalled,
such a sight would force me to make note of it and sketch the likeness of the
Mali’aheral to show around Haelun’or. This is of course assuming that the Mali’Aheral
was going willingly with the Uruk and his Valah slave. If it were otherwise, I
am not quite sure what I would do. Hopefully not anything foolish that would
involve a bow.

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay
to the mali’aheral?
I apologize in advance for my inquisitiveness.

As Gulon is delving through enlightening books he comes across this form, deciding to fill it out. He takes out a piece of paper and starts to write on it.

Citizenship Application

Name: Gulon

((MCName)):(( Jax973))

Origins of your birth, and your place of living: I was born 20 years ago,  I do not know where, and I never truly met my parents. I do not currently bestow a place of living. Any other place would be full of filthy, little, garbage.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? I have luscious golden hair, teal eyes, and nearly white skin. All of that makes me beautiful. I do not sleep, like other races, I go into something known as a trance, where I can generate 1.5 times the amount of energy that filthy races gain from sleep. I have no body hair, not counting my head. I adore politics and knowledge.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? I wish to be in the blessed city due to the fact that I need to get away from the filthiness of other races, a place of purity, where one can find a new family. A place that has a humongous amount of knowledge.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? Our race is the gold in the stone, our race is the only thing keeping our world together, without us, the world would crumble. We are the first culture and still the most advanced. Our purpose it to be on top of the other races.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? The
maehr'sae hiylun'ehya describes how life should be lived, it is a code for living, to me it is the same as breathing, without it we would all be gone. It means progress and health, that we need to stay pure and proper.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: “kae maehr evar” or “knowledge protects me”. That is because I don't believe in war weapons, I believe that knowledge is the only weapon possible, the true weapon.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college? The first book I submit would most likely be science, or notes on the world.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together? I would be in shock! Why would our great race walk with rotten trash! I would ask the Mali'aheral that we are not meant to be with those...those...creatures. And that you are impure! No better than them! Then I would make sure what they deserve.

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral? I will go to much extent to discover new knowledge, I desire to be sent on tasks that would enhance my knowledge.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? I could, but I will shoulder a lifetime of burdens for the good of the kin, if you'll let me, in stead of committal from fleeting lips.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? For it is 'our' cihi, is it not? Wherever I may roam, a citizen I already am.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? Independent, united, and with family lines as tall and gorgeous as trees planted by Malin himself.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? Words of the ancestors, with more meaning than a translation could possibly confer
