Kolyat stands before a procession of robed, and hooded elves, he addresses the elves congregated before him.

“Our time in this land is over, lliran. The land of valah holds no home for our people. We will leave for lands that we can live in peace, without war and fighting. Come with us if you wish, but if you stay know that the Nation of mali that you have known shall no longer be the peaceful lands we wished for. The age of the elves has started to reach it’s end, and some members of the High and Lower Council shall take the white boat to the Last Shore. Our time has ended now, the age of Man has started to arise, and the elves that so lingered in the dark awaiting for the peace of our lands to fail and our weapons to aim towards the other races. The peaceful beings the High and Lowers Councils have been composed of will not abide to this warmongering, so forth we are to leave these lands. The beings of the land who have spoken for so long of reform and rebirth shall have their new council, and so we shall see how they rule. If they are to fail.. And the holy lands fall.. With little resources, food, and people.. Then we shall speak at our place. We have done what we can for the good of Malinor, yet people fight against our endeavors. Yet if they are to succeed in their rule and bring a better place to the Elven Lands then so be it. We welcome every Mali to join us on the Last Shore, the voyage shall be a path to bliss and harmony. It is with heavy hearts that we leave these lands to their fate, though the anguish of keeping them at peace has become too much to bare. So it is with a final courtesy that we say farewell to all that shall remain, and wish you a well life in these lands that we now leave.”

As Kolyat finishes his speech, Xanthur steps up and speaks before the people

“I know of but a single thought that runs through the minds of the mali before me now. It is quite easy to believe that we are abandoning our people, though this is not true. I will allow you to believe what you will but ask you to listen to my words. This land has no more place for us, if not the mali as a whole, simply the High and Lower Councils. We leave these lands in search of peace, to escape the constant war-mongering and the fighting of our own kin. This marks the end of our place in these lands, and the beginning of our home in the Last Shore. I wish all that shall remain the peace they so deserve and hold to them a bliss of their eternal lives.”

The procession of robed elves, some mounted, others walking simply on their feet move quietly towards the docks, through the city. The robed elves slowly pass the bystanders, a few saying silent wishes for the prosperity of their kin on these lands.

As the head of the procession reaches the edge of the docks, he turns, letting his hood fall back, he faces the congregation as he watches them board the boat one by one, the congregation takes up a solemn chant.

To the sea, to the sea! The white gulls are crying,

The wind is blowing, and the white foam is flying.

West, west away, the round sun is falling,

Grey ship, grey ship, do you hear them calling,

The voices of my people that have gone before me?

I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;

For our days are ending and our years failing.

I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.

Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling,

Sweet are the voices in the Lost Isle calling,

In Eressea, in Elvenhome that no man can discover,

Where the leaves fall not: land of my people forever!

As the procession boards the boat, Kolyat tilt’s his face skyward, the starlight catching in his eyes. Where they will go, what they will find, none can say, but none could be mistaken, that whatever they may face, would be faced together.

Larien tugs a hood over her face, she closes her eyes for a moment and lets a faint sigh, and moves to Kolyat’s side, she offers a hand to one of her children and forces a faint smile, Edari takes it smiling, back at her. Altariel looks up to Kolyat and he gives her a nod, followed by a faint smile.

Lithimis lays down a dark wooden key at the edge of the docks, it has a slight red glow to it. “Perhaps someday they will find where it goes.” He drops his hood back and nods at Kolyat as he steps on the white boat. “I had hoped this land would have been more peaceful than the last, but it seems there can not be peace with so much hate around us.”

Orym, out of his Sentinel Uniform and in a hooded and robed garb, boards the white boat, following Kolyat. As he leaves, he throws his sword into the water, mumbling something in elvish under his breath.

Enyahs starts walking off, though he stops as he turns looking back at Amarwen. Looking around a moment he waves her to come, holding his hand out to her. They hold hands as Amarwen holds Altii’aer bundled up in a teal colored blanket. Enyahs looks back once more and sighs before continuing to move on. Once he is on the boat he looks out to the sea, not giving Malinor even a second glance . “Ethane hileiane“ He speaks, having said it many times before.

Finduilas blinks his one good eye and turns toward the boat showing no emotion.

Aldeon sighs with a stressful look on his face. He was quite enjoying the time here in Malinor, but he knows that the government will become far too corrupt to handle. He will be leaving a lot behind, but then again, he will be taking something greater with him. He’ll be taking his life, to a better place. He packs his small bag with the little amount of things that he had, and thinks to himself for a moment. “I’ll be leaving behind my love, Celia Tal’althri... Unless of course she wishes to come along with me, but I believe she will be best off staying in these lands, and continuing to roam the wilds. I’ll be leaving my job here at the college in Malinor, even though I never had the opportunity to teach any classes to our fellow Mali. The council had worked for so many long days and nights, so many hours, so much of their life, to have it all thrown away. It is amazing how something can crumble apart into a million pieces, even after building it up for so long. I’ll never get the opportunity to develop anything for the people of Anthos.” He runs his hand through his hair with even more frustration showing on this face, which is a rarity for Aldeon, as he is generally a very positive and happy person. He then writes a letter to his love, Celia Tal’althri, notifying her of this. She let’s her know that she is welcome to come, but he believes it would be best for her to stay, and live out her life . “I never knew this rebellion would brew to this point, but I suppose it is time to go.” He says to his fellow Mali. “Off to better places, and better times... Hopefully.” He begins to walk toward the boat, as a tear sheds down his face.

Several figures remain hooded and slowly make their way onto the boat. Filled with sadness and despair they are unable to express themselves and just take their seats.

A small group approaches Kolyat and with soft voices and pain filled hearts you hear the words “We will watch over them from a distance while we can, we shall do what needs to be done to help when they ask for it. We will join you soon enough.” Kolyat nods in response, saying softly “I wish you luck lliran, may we soon find you safe amongst us.”

Xanthur bows his head, yelling a last goodbye to the people, calling his raven to his shoulder and waving goodbye to his cats, hoping Rhonir will take good care of them. He also remembers about the theory he had been working on for two years. He hopes that Rhonir won’t forget it.

Rhonir is solemn as he looks at his llir Xanthur leave, and sheds a single tear. He attempts a small smile as he sees his llir give his beautiful speech and contemplates on how he will send a goodbye. He then smiles as he retrieves a small journal, ink stained, and instantly recognizable to Xanthur. He holds it up very high for Xanthur to see, and smiles. He mouths , The theory will continue, llir. He pauses, chuckles, then also mouths, I will take care of your cats. Satisfied, he smiles and places the book back in his pack. Xanthur nods and smiles in recognition, mouthing Thank you.   He then continues to look at his departing friend, knowing that he will never see him again.

Last in the line, and with a heavy heart Arzota watches them go, standing as a singular figure upon the docks. He could not take it, the speeches and goodbyes moving him greatly, he begins to step forward, stopping only feet away from the boat. As he eyes those aboard he speeks in a low tone, not sounding quite as himself, but rather more shaky and unsure. “It has been an honor, truly, but I can not leave.” he trails off. “Instead I shall stay, though not as a matter of choice, but only to relay information to, wherever you are going...” he looks towards the walk leading back to land, tears in his eyes. “Safe journeys... and may Malin bless all of you in future endeavors.” Without another word Arzota walks off, shaking his head a bit to regain his composure, a flawless smile appearing on his face, yet from within, turmoil.

Still individuals continue to make their way towards the docks.

Goroth stands tall, narrowing his almost glowing crimson eyes in the dark shroud of his black steel helmet. He watches them leave, his gauntleted hand upon the hilt of his arming sword. He shakes his head in a sense of disapproval,

"To simply give in to the Valah's foolish qualms and retreat... not the way I would see it..."

He sighs and then retorts his own statement, stating,

"Though this is quite commendable, to save the Mali from bloodshed, leaving is a brave act. The less Mali die, the better."

Avrani watches the boat load, and wonders where the departing elves are planning to go. He hopes it will not be to the stomach of a sea serpent.

"And so they leave; cowards..." Meta adds coldly as he watches them departing, leaving everything and everyone behind as he turns back to Malinor and his eyes narrow. "I may still yet be able to save you...now without interferance from those who know nothing of virtue and honor..."

A tall, robed elf. With white swaying beard stares aghast at the display, before he simply nods to himself, staring at the small caravan with two donkey upon it, calling around for a bit, until he notices a few scuttling elve's who are simply watching this occur.. He smiles at them, and says rather simply in his kind, old voice. "Take care of Alpha and Mira, dears." They look to eachother, frowning; and alpha makes a loud fart... He chuckles, ruffling the donkey's hair with true affinity for it. "They are like that, little pranksters.." He shrugs, before getting a small sugar cube from his pocket, more of a circle.. Bunched together, but he shrugs, and lets two out  allowing the two to eat it, before he puts his hand back, ruffling their hair once more. Letting a tear escape his eyes.. "Goodbye." The caravan with words "Jaehaerys." Stays upon it, before he looks to the boat. Stepping onto it, and waving away, as more settle on. He steps down into the bellows of the ship.  Allowing himself reprive deep down, as tears grace his eyes. And he looks out, going outside one last time.

"Goodbye."

He says simply to the war ravaged man, Jaehaerys awaiting the boat's departure.. It was the end of the elves in this land, he knew this. As he knew the high council did. The white roses had drawn almost all of them out, and the world would tatter until all that left was a victory so bitter that it tasted like defeat. They could deface an ancient people, but they could never..Never.. Take away what made them what they were, their humility.. "May the triumvirate bless the path of all who walk on Anthos, and let prosperity grace it.." He says in a last timid motion, awaiting the ship's departure once more. Sitting in the bellows.

Just before Larien, Kolayt's wife gets onboard Seth finds her, stopping her. "I will watch over our family here, I will make sure no harm is done to them." He says to her, frowning sadly before speaking his last words to her. "Van'ayla llir, keep our family safe on the other land." He turns around to leave her right after, not wishing to block the rest of the elves that wish to border anymore.

Elorna stands on the docks, watching the proceedings with a grim expression. A warm breeze tugs at her hair and she lets out a soft sigh, raising a hand to wave farewell to the departing elves.

"Van'ayla, lliran. May gentle winds guide you to your new land of peace. Ame nae'leh evareh."

The wind grows stronger, stirring the trees as Elorna turns away from the docks. The quivering leaves make a sound like roaring waves, and as she walks into the shade of Malinor's outstretched canopy she closes her eyes and fervently whispers, "Hileia ito Mali'nor."

Vanir watches, sadness in his eyes.

The elves walk on as he stares from the trees, a thin film of moisture covering his eyes.
Always he wished for change...but something went wrong.  This was not supposed to happen...
He hugs his knees as sorrow threatens to overcome him.

Then something changes.

A spark appears in his eyes, and he slowly hardens his expression.  He stands up straighter, gripping the trunk of the tree he is within so the branch does not collapse below him.  Vanir looks again at the leaving elves, his eyebrows meeting as he scowls.  Dark thoughts cloud his feelings as he struggles to realize what this means.

"You would not cooperate... You would not listen... You drove us away from Malinor, and then leave when we attempt to come back..."

Vanir growls slightly, baring his teeth.

"Now, when pressure is greatest, you flee.  Rather than atone and aid in fixing what went wrong...  Fine!  Now it is our time!"
"You had your choice... leave and be free of pain, or stay and fight the source!  You chose to leave, you chose to run from it..."
"I choose differently."
"I stay here, to fight for the Mali that remain.  I may die, slain by enemies of the Mali or by my own error.  But at least I fight!"
"If you cannot stand to remain and battle through your pain, your sorrow, then at least stay out of the way of those who will."

Vanir shakes his head, clearing the darkness that such thoughts come from, slightly fearing the direction that they were pointing.

"Now is the time to remake Malinor... I wish you luck where you go. But don't come back to Malinor, not after what you have done."

His thoughts such, Vanir leaps down from the tree and goes back into the shadows, his mind racing to think of a way to save the race of Mali from the turbulence, apathy, and disunion that is sure to come.

Azel Bloodseeker enters into Malinor, a procession of his guard behind him. A black circlet hangs loosely at his side and a ruby gem sits in the center. His guard stand behind him, disciplined and still in black and golden armor, weapons at their sides or slung across their back, showing they are there for peace. Azel smiles to Goroth waving at him with a grin.

"Greetings llir~!" He calls to him before taking a spot where the High Council delivered their speech to the Elves. "Greetings lliran!" He shouts to them all, using the proper form to address them all. "Many Mali stand before me today, happy to see the High and Low council leave. Others shed tears for their lost companions. But I am sure some, no, many of you see this as a way to strengthen Malinor as I do. I only lead the new village of Darkhaven, a village I wish to see expand into a nation. A strong one that can defend its people at that. One like Malinor used to be, not how it is now." He rubs his cheek before speaking once more to find the correct words. "I do not wish war with the Valah or the Bortu, Darkhaven is at peace with the both of them. I plan on speaking with the Valah and Bortu, plan on ending the war they wish to start if the High Council and Low Council's actions were not enough. I do not come into Malinor, my guards with me seeking war, no, I seek an alliance with the citizens of Malinor. I seek to make it stronger. I am not here to take control, but show Malinor I wish to aid them in their strengthening."

(( Shortly will be making a pretty big Rp post, so uh... You can answer there or here, doesn't matter. ))

*walks upon, following the march to the boat. She however does not get on the boat, instead she simply watches. Anger in her eyes but she contains it. Spotting the key on the ground that lithimis had placed down. She picks it up and places it into her robes pocket. "Whatever this was for, it must have been of some value to them." She closes the flap to the pouch, storing the key for safe keeping.

Celia recieves Aldeon's letter. She opens it, reading it, then cries.

"Oh, Aldeon... Don't leave without me... Life means nothing to me without you..." she mumbles to herself.

She grabs a piece of paper and a pen. She calls a bird, and, writing a letter, ties it to the foot of the bird.

((The letter))

I love you Aldeon. I will not leave you. Never, my life means nothing without you.

-Celia Tal'athri

She begins to run for the docks. She hopes the boats have not all departed.

((What does this entail OOCly, is this a seperate world thing and we can continue RP or is it akin to perma death/missing?))

EDIT:

EDIT: Celia has made it to the docks. She's standing on the boat with Aldeon now, holding hands and leaning forward to kiss him. BAI! HAVE A NICE LIFE YOU TWO!!! :D
