  1. THE RHEWENHOLM PACT The Frostbeard Clan and The Crimson Edict have become unlikely friends for centuries, their relations originating back in the realm of Vailor under the rulership of Rhewen Frostbeard. While it originally started as a mutual respect for one another, over the past few centuries the two groups have become family to one another, with each group continuously hosting one another at their holds for feasts, hunts, funerals, etc. Despite this continued practice of an unofficial bond, the two groups have decided that their continued friendship should be formalized to be known by all. With such realization, The Frostbeard Clan and The Crimson Edict hereby agree to: SECTION I: FRIENDSHIP & NON-AGGRESSION To solidify an everlasting friendship between the two parties, The Frostbeard Clan and The Crimson Edict, hereby referred to as ‘the signatories’, agree: THAT the signatories hereby enter into a pact of non-aggression. THAT the signatories are recognized as honorary members of one another’s guild/clan. THAT the signatories shall assist one another in combat if requested, so long as it is not against the Grand Kingdom. THAT the signatories shall be awarded access to one another’s holds. THAT the signatories shall host regular festivities alongside one another in each other’s holds. THAT the signatories develop quick transportation between one another’s holds. SECTION II: POLITICAL ASSISTANCE With both signatories being active members of the Grand Kingdom and the realm as a whole, both groups wish to assist one another in achieving any goals that they set out to accomplish. With such, the signatories hereby agree: TO assist one another in any political votes and/or agendas. TO assist one another in any business ventures, both domestic and international. TO invite one another to join any upcoming business pursuits, profitable events, and/or new guilds/associations that the other holds a major role in. May these vows never require renewal, as the century-old friendship shall continue for centuries more. Signed, Lord Justiciar of Urguan, Lord of Clan Frostbeard, Thane of Rhewenholm, Great-Grandson of Rhewen Grandmaster of the Crimson Edict, Patriarch of House Hennington
  2. FROM THE HIGH COURTS OF URGUAN A MISSIVE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE LORD JUSTICIAR: Following the trial of the de Joannes family, the High Courts have ruled the following: The High Courts of Urguan find the de Joannes family of Sedan GUILTY of: Section VI.VI: Slavery in the Second Degree The High Courts of Urguan find the de Joannes family of Sedan INNOCENT of: Section VII.IV: Insubordination in the Third Degree By decree of guiltiness of Slavery in the Second Degree, the High Courts have ordered the De Joannes family to pay 1000 minas total in fines to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, to be received by the Lord Justiciar in no more than two stone-weeks time. Justice has been served. Narvak oz Urguan. Grand King of Urguan, Lord Justiciar of Urguan, Lord of Clan Frostbeard, Thane of Rhewenholm, Great-Grandson of Rhewen Lord Chancellor of Urguan, Elder of Clan Frostbeard, High Remembrancer of the Order of Remembrance, Son of Rhewen
  3. The Lord Justiciar sighed, having just ended a trial involving slaves and slavers, he would happen upon a missive attached to his door. Upon reading the missive, he would give a smirk: "From umri slavehs teh bloodeh Orkish ones. Least t'is toime o'I can deal wit' it in steel. Toime teh get teh werk." He'd say, dusting off his old set of armor and sword once more.
  4. A CALL TO THE HIGH COURTS OF URGUAN A MISSIVE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE LORD JUSTICAR: The recent crimes against humanity seen in the Sedanite territory of Urguan is something that has been unbeknownst to the dwedmar for centuries. Having been oppressed by nations in ancient history, Urguan’s Folk have consistently fought against acts of slavery or forced labor, as regardless of one's race or religion, everyone under Urguani law is still a person. Despite multiple laws banishing such practices from our lands, and having the largest Order of anti-slavers under our banner, the de Joannes family of Sedan have been accused of hosting an auction of recently kidnapped women alongside the Ferrymen, a bandit group which has consistently raided the Grand Kingdom, within their hold. The actions the de Joannes are accused of are despicable by any means, and the High Courts promise a just trial to those involved. Regardless of which individual members were involved on said disastrous day, the entirety of the de Joannes family is responsible for what occurs within their lands, and therefore the family shall be tried as a whole. With such in mind, The High Courts of Urguan hereby call upon the de Joannes family of Sedan to appear before the Lord Justicar within the courts of Kal’Darakaan. The family is given ONE STONE WEEK to appear, otherwise warrants of arrest shall be ordered for the entire de Joannes family. The de Joannes family shall be tried for the crimes listed below: Section VI.VI: Slavery in the Second Degree Section VII.IV: Insubordination in the Third Degree The High Courts expect your arrival. Narvak oz Urguan. Grand King of Urguan, Lord Justicar of Urguan, Lord of Clan Frostbeard, Lord Chancellor of Urguan, Elder of Clan Frostbeard, High Remembrancer of the Order of Remembrance, Son of Rhewen
  5. A catching, fantastic read. If not today, we'll get it someday. Till then however, I'll continue to hope it's today. +1 to you
  6. Ulfric wonders if he'll see his old friend again someday.
  7. THE GRUDGE OF FALLEN FROST There has been nothing as devastating to the Frostbeard Clan than the death of Rhewen 'Papa Bear' Frostbeard. Traitorous kin, rebellion, nothing has managed to withdraw the same emotions, the same burning rage ever before. Despite previous rebellions and splits within the Clan, anyone who claimed to be a Frostbeard could agree on the fact of Rhewen being the greatest Dwed the Clan has ever seen. An Emperor, champion, warrior, father, grandfather, friend, whatever the dwed set his mind to, it was accomplished. His death has garnered levels of hatred never before seen within the Clan’s ranks. Even those who rarely pick up a weapon have begun polishing their armor and adorning their warpaint. Rhewen died saving his grandson and other men from the beasts beneath Luciensburg. He died protecting our great nation’s borders from the Ratiki horde that has been assembling beneath their city. While the Ratiki may take his death as a victory, it has done nothing but ensure their total extermination. Narvok Oz Rhewen. The Wronged: Clan Frostbeard The Assailant: The Ratiki The Wrong: The honorless, merciless killing of Rhewen ‘Papa Bear’ Frostbeard Date of Wrongdoing: 18th of The Amber Cold, Almaris, 29 SA Terms of Settlement: Complete annihilation of the Ratiki Horde
  8. Ulfric stood strong when he heard the news, remaining emotionless for the most part, in front of his fellow kin. He gave worthy bear-hugs, smiles, words of encouragement, and a promise to those around him. "Teh t'ose thengs t'at took Rhewen from teh dwedkoind todeh... Prepare yerselves... fer teh Azwyrtrumm are comin', an' teh end ov yeh disgustin' existence comes wit' et. Narvok oz Urguan, Narvok oz Rhewen!" When Ulfric made it back to his home, he collapsed. Full of dread, regret, sadness, and rage, he made a personal promise to see those that killed Rhewen exterminated, once and for all.
  9. Ulfric smiled upon hearing the news. "Ah... gud werk lad. Much work teh beh done. o'I look ferward teh workin' wit' yeh, an' seein' 'ow yeh stan' out from teh rest ov 'em."

  15. [!] By the authority of the High Courts, the Goldhand Clan's Grudge, "The Golden Grudge," has been approved. [!] The angry scrawling of a furious hand sweeps across the tome elegantly, yet emotionally moved. Dorimnur Goldhand, Clanfather of the Goldhand Clan stands, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration and rage. In front of him, the Book of Grudges. “Enough es enough. Oi ‘ave waited long enough. T’is ends now.” The Goldhand growls as he puts his final mark upon the sacred pages. He pivots on his heels and leaves the chamber, clenching his fists. The Wronged: Clan Goldhand The Assailant: Hekkaes Anvilaxe Ivar Anvilaxe Uldraek Anvilaxe Githaic Anvilaxe The Wrong: DISHONORING TUNGDIL ONCE, by allowing and perpetuating a corrupt contract between the honored Aurokanar Kazamar and the harrowing hosts of Khorvad, the Inferi. This was done by permitting the then elder Githaic to conduct trade with the enemies of the Brathmordakin against the advice of the honored Dorimnur Goldhand. This heinous act was heightened when Uldraek Anvilaxe then attempted to cover up evidence and slaughter Githaic as he confessed. It is believed that Uldraek, in fear of the Inferi and Githaic, allowed this. In addition, Uldraek himself is believed to have orchestrated the entire conspiracy with the Inferi. DISHONORING TUNGDIL TWICE, by a repeated pattern of three Anvilaxe Clan Lords, Hekkaes, Ivar, and Uldraek, who actively hindered the trade of honored khazadmar, twisting it from the honorable worship of Armakak into a malevolent tool to force their will upon others. Thus subjugating the domain and authority of the Merchant Father as their own. DISHONORING TUNGDIL THRICE, by repeated attempts of undermining the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, it’s laws, and it’s establishments. Such occurrences include: Kinslaying and disfiguring a body of an honored dwed, purposefully attempting to undermine khazadmar businesses such as Armakak’s Coin, and the tainting and abuse of the Goldhand Clan and it’s traditions for personal, monetary, and political gain. Date of Wrongdoing: 3rd of Malin’s Welcome, 1791 Terms of Settlement: FOR the mentioned wrongs, Uldraek Anvilaxe’s punishment will be through gold itself. He will remove his left hand which is to be cast in gold and given to the Goldhand Clan Father Dorimnur Goldhand. In addition, Uldraek Anvilaxe will be reminded to abandon the Goldhand Clan name as explicitly stated in the Mandate from the High Courts issued 3rd of Malin’s Welcome, 1791 if he has already not. MORAG SENDS HIS REGARDS. THE BRATHMORDAKIN WILL SEE TO THE TRUTH. NARVAK OZ URGUAN, NARVAK OZ BRATHMORDAKIN.
  16. Ulfric Frostbeard would lay his weapons out over his desk, along with retrieving both his war paint and his old armor from a dusty chest he used to bring them to Almaris. "Toime teh avenge oureh kin an' retrieve w'at 'as been stolen from us, an' teach t'ose w'o seek teh 'arm us t'at weh will not stan' by an' beh bullied."

  20. Having been hard at work carving out the Frostbeard Clan Hall day in and day out, Ulfric would miss the chance to properly say goodbye. Upon returning to the square, Ulfric would look around as people walked by, somber and sad expressions littering their faces. Upon looking towards the Throne Room and then to the Front Gate, only then would Ulfric understand. His friend had left, for reasons he may never know, but still he understood, as the thoughts of his 100-year absence came to mind, along with the thoughts of how he had abandoned those closest to him. "I'm sorreh, ol' frien', o'I wish I couldah said goodbye... Bes' ov luck, an' may teh Gods get yeh to where yeh need teh be. I will seh yeh soon..." And with that, he marched back to his hall, anger and somberness motivating him to continue his work, away from where others may see him in such a poor state.
  21. Having been only a few feet away from the incident that led to this, Ulfric utters one sentence. "May Anabelle keep ye, and may yeh foind your way back teh us all in one piece lad..."

  24. Ulfric Frostbeard looks at the newspaper in front of him, peering over the topics. When he sees the "A Wedding for the Ages" topic, he would sigh. "Meh first, bes' frien' has come a long way... Could'nae beh proudeh, though o'I neveh thought she woul' get there, heh. Actualleh, I neveh thought eitheh ov us would get teh where we are." He would chuckle quietly at that, before planning his attire for the wedding.
  25. Ulfric Frostbeard reads every word with increased anticipation. After reading, he would say, "Hah! Wot ah loveleh soight teh see! o'I can'nae wait teh see oureh new allies!" He would then get up with a grunt, walk to his door and open it, shouting, "Narvok oz Urguan, Narvok oz the Iron Accords!" to no one in particular.
