  1. On The Eternal Library [!] A missive is posted about the Silver State On the matter of the Eternal Library, It has come to my attention that an issue has arisen with an institution most paramount to the progress of the Silver State- The Eternal Library. By no means is a valah going to assume control of such a blessed piece of culture and history for coin or simple support, the library is to stand proud and under the watch and maintenance of the Okarir’maehr Tiuthwyn Visaj. The desire for neutrality in a time of strife has been respected, no harm has come to the books and the Okarir is supplied enough to continue to their duties from within. Those patrolling the streets and keeping them safe have made no attempt to use the Library as a staging ground whilst that of the Republicans have weasled in during the night and pleaded to seek refuge, only to taunt us from the streets, yet despite this the wishes of Tiuthwyn have been respected, and they have gone unharmed- the library without a nick. The continued build of defences and fortifications by the Okarir is to come to a hold- for word is now on paper, given. With this I urge any who hold literature or produce literature to offer donations to support the library, to begin the long repair of the state, to grant mali’thill access to knowledge in abundance once more when this schism with the republicans comes to an end. If you wish to donate call for Tiuthwyn and hand the books in directly to the Okarir. Yet, with that said, entry is hereby forbidden into the library by order of the Okarir’maehr. None but the respective Tilruir are to enter. -Ivarielle Ibarellan. - Okarir Tiuthwyn Visaj
  2. Ivarielle walked around, in search of the republicans that quite literally were not to be found. She were beginning to grow restless, the only place they could be hiding were the sewers or the walls if they truly were here. "Ne, ne. They aren't in the walls- because I watched mali'thill and allies escort them out."
  3. Ivarielle swears she heard someone calling from down by the ferry as she passed the gates, yet she dismissed it as it was evidently no threat.
  4. Ivarielle swears she could hear someone calling out from behind the gate, but she dismissed it.
  5. Ivarielle stood behind Laerdya as she spoke outward to the filled streets, her gaze searching the crowd for Republicans- yet she could not find any! Truly, though, this made her sad- as for all intensive purposes there was no competition, the few rats that scurried through the streets during the night fleeing once more.
  6. "mhm, the bodies of third partty raiders and non mali'thill. Kind of.. suspicious, ne?" Ivarielle murmured.
  7. [!] A letter is sent out to the Malauriran of the Silver State To elMalauriran You have been spewed lies to, you have been deceived and your peace has been invaded by that of cries and pleas of one who has gone mad with grief over the loss of his mal’onn. Such things are hard to accept as an individual yet when stability was threatened after a peaceful resolution to a conflict that could have destroyed the Silver State down to its very core, we stand here now in naught but further strife, strife that is unnecessary and utterly one sided. Allow me to write to you with the truth. You have been lied to. The Republicans have not held control of the nation since this schism began, they have lost the entire city, they have fled the island numerous times and now when simply asked to leave after returning they voluntarily do so- and the off chance that one breaks in, is the off chance that one turns to vandalism and destruction within the walls they scurry atop the roof tops like rats. Not only two days ago did the Republicans vandalize the clinic, a place of no military value, a place of no threat and a place none but the citizenry and physicians are utilizing, to break in try to gain grounds to antagonize the citizenry, the okariran, the hard working mali’thill patrolling the state’s land atop our allies. They lie and persuade their way into the library, a place so respectfully being locked down by the Okarir’maehr until the schism is resolved, to antagonize those passing by. You have been lied to. Mali’thill return to their home, not the Fennec. Not the Ivae’fenn. Veteran Sillumir and those that wish to follow in their foot-steps, mages of grand capabilities and prowess, scholars, poets, musicians and those wishing to rebuild the state, even down to those who wish to farm and bring food to the tables of the citizenry. You have been lied to regarding those who are seeking now to be our allies coming to visit, coming to see progress and coming to aid those they now see as lliran. The allies I have brought into this are mali, they are not valah, they are not other descendants. They are mali, whilst not only the day gone by now as of this letter did valah and those holding no right to be involved in this invade our streets to seek to aid them. The fennec come when they are asked to, they are not a rot in your nation for they are in the frigid north and return to the frigid north when their obligations to allies are over. They claim I utilize the manpower of impures yet, tell me then, what is this? Why is there valah in the Silver District? I shall tell you why. Thanks to Varus, who so boldly sabotaged all locks on the doors to the city, any can enter. Thanks to Varus now, who so badly sabotaged the locks, any can so enter the Silver District and disrupt the sanctity of such. It is not his efforts that keep mali’thill here, patrolling the streets and dealing with those who freely walk in with arms and armour, it is the Okarir’tir and I presently working hard to maintain the peace. A mali’ker waltzes into the library and threatens to stab a mali’thill in his neck, it were we who rapidly responded and removed them from the city, yet this happened because of he.The only reason allies come to assist us now is because of how tired mali’thill are becoming, having to keep the peace and make sure none are killed or harmed by foreigners whilst also garrisoning the Silver District and the gatehouse at the same time. If the republic is the future then I ask you, where is the manpower they have to do the same? Where are their allies? Why are they not the ones doing this? The answer is simple- it is because he does not possess the followers nor the support. The missives that reach you, is it not funny that they are in the same handwriting of.. Three or four individual people? You have been lied to. Peace was achieved and those who supported me in my early days did so with the clear intention of this ending peacefully. Now, I am home and I agree- our history holds beauty behind that which is used to slander us, so I have neglected to pursue that which began. In turn now I stand here at the head of the Okariran, no Maheral in sight, with the intent to continue traditions prior. There is no throne in the Silver State, there is no Monarchist movement. There is now simply those who wish to bring progress and health to the city and republicans who flee and abandon the land, over the water to Eastfleet with a mere request. The bloodshed was provoked, it was not unjustified. Those harmed were approached to be arrested and detained to prevent a schism from developing further, they were offered many times to surrender peacefully and walk to the Bastille, yet a handful spat insults and turned to flee when ordered to surrender- why is it they began to flee? Because they did not indeed seek for this to be peaceful, they sought to provoke something that had already been settled. The streets are populated, the tavern used, the library safe and now the clinic is to be protected. The state could be working towards prosperity now- yet you could end this. I would offer to speak to you face to face, to present to you the reforms I wish to make but I would not fault you for declining in a time of strife. You have been lied to. The prospect that any Republic would be the future is a lie, it is ran by the same blood as he who failed to secure any alliances, any political ground and was cast aside in recognition of I by near the entire world. This political landscape will not change for him, for a republic. All that ever came of the republic was a strong successor ran by Othelu and his subtle militancy, though not all agree with him- he brought about a strong state. I ask you this- when the Republicans fail after simply failing to even visit the city for longer than a mere five minutes and there is the new generation, when there is youth and those wanting- without you, without a Maheral, where will they be? They will have no one other than the Okariran and myself to guide them. Why gamble away the future of our entire race betting on such an insignificant odd? I would ask of you to not, if it were befitting I would plead. I understand i have been painted as some brute, some murderer, yet what of the other side? A mali’thill who reads nothing but the blurb of a book will miss the true contents inside. I usher you to realize there is an inside to this, there is context and there is the foundations to bring about yet another bright age of the state. Please, do not succumb to the words of a grief stricken mali, whos mind has been soured before you know everything there could be, the only thing worse than the aforementioned is a mad-mali who may be prone to acts of tyranny, paranoia and betrayal- not only that, yet lie to you. -Ivarielle Ibarellan.
  8. "This one makes a valid a point, yet not all the silver people cry for democracy. For this- i cannot accept. For your efforts, i will give my respect." Ivarielle grumbled from the shadow of the citadel. "I will address all soon."
  9. Another beautiful day in Karinah'siol!

      Indeed! Ay'Haelun'or! Ay'Ivarielle! Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya!

  10. "And i'll keep dealing with the threat of some jaded traitors until it ends." She murmured to the musin that handed her the paper.
  11. "Wow, such a good republic!" She watched as the republicans are forced out of her city without resistance.
  12. "As all things should be, for progress. For the future." Ivarielle remarked as she lounged in the city, watching the soldiers patrol the silver district without resistance.
  13. What a sad display of OOC executions on LoTC this day.

  14. Ivarielle sighs, she tires of these. She slowly begins making preparations.
  15. "And so the end of an era comes, after the withering of one. This is it, all the work- the scheming, the late nights.. the sacrifices made. We now stand as one, strong. We move forward, and eventually the dreams will be adopted. If only they could tell me, those who granted support.. did I do most things right? did I do them wrong..?" Her silvered brows furrowed, yet alas.. as she settled in bed- within Karinah'siol for the first time in many a winter.. did a smile crawl over her features, a glacial toned gaze cast out her window.. before she drifted off to sleep, dreaming... dreaming of the future, the goals to be achieved, dreaming of the alliances to be had, the mali to meet- from here on it would be bountiful.
  16. "Forged on coin and blood, ending in glory and golden mountains. What will I do now, Captain? Few want a woman dedicated to mounted warfare in their courts, fewer care if I live or die. Is it time now to settle.. or is it time now to sour and plague the roads..?" Pondered Caderina, lost at the news, from atop a mound of pure coin, taller than many a high-backed chair.
  17. "Something to note, then" The Silver Princess dipped her head.
  18. To The Maheral Issued on the 4th of Sun's Smile, 67 S.A. by the Silver Princess, Ivarielle I @ImCookiie Elesia Elervathar. The time to recover from war was afforded to the state and yet it is still in dismay. Instead of preparing defences or for further warfare all that were done within the walls were idling, failing to squabble over positions and writing a constitution that will not live beyond you, yourself. The situation is clear moving forward, so I believe it is fair I enlighten you to it. Fenn holds the funds and has an income greater than the expenditure it costs to sack the city and organize the execution of councillors, there will be no end until those who dwell turn tail or the streets are inhabited by spectres if this route is pursued and repeated time and time again for decades to come. I write to you to give you the chance, one single chance, to come to a compromise with me. No discussions, no considerations, a compromise. Further bloodshed will be avoided, raids prevented and I give you my word that the position of Maheral will be preserved if we come to an agreement and with such I give you my word that you will remain the Maheral. I have no intention of calling for your execution nor your abdication but I will not protest to the Dual principalities repeating the conflict prior if we cannot come to an agreement. I invite you to my Hall within Fennic Territory so you may understand what it is that drives the Princedom and why it is I press so heavy-handedly to reinforce that the Princedom is the future of the mali'aheral. I give you my word, my promise, that venturing here to meet with me will not result in your harm, and my word is my honour- I do not intend to stoop so low now by disgracing it. If you accept, I will meet with you at the gate, and escort you to the hall. Three days. If no response is given within this time I will assume you are unwilling to strike an accord and end bloodshed and will not reach out again, not even to he or she who would be your successor.
  19. "When you are senseless, when you are but arrogant, selfish and clinging to a position that means nothing whilst believing it means everything.. you are lost. I was merciful, i war fair- i gave chance after chance and now you so deal with my allies, my lliran, those who understand the future is through blood and steel, not cowering.. whining like a child from your four story manor. You had your chance to prove to me you were willing to see the unity through, by simply lowering your heads and accepting what is better for the progress of an entire race. But no, the changing of a position's name from Sohaer to Princess, from Okarir to Laurir.. bothered you all so much that you chose war. Pathetic." Rambled the Silver princess from her chambers, before with a sigh.. she turned to rest for the night as the city was sacked.
  20. Gotta love the hate on the broad term of "elven roleplayers", when its primarily the older generations who probably dont even play that introduced the cultural problems addressed on this thread. In my opinion its stupid, and the lore should be tweaked to make it more clear, and the nations that enforce this culture should adapt. But at the same time, if you want to play an elf and start a family or something of the sort literally don't play a f**king man-child. Read the lore and have sense.
  21. "STARS! FREDEEERRRRIIICCCKKKKK" The Silver Princess yells out, likely waking the denizens of her hall.
  22. "My city" The princess corrects as she hangs the small concern on her wall, a content hum sounding before she returned to playing the lyre.
  23. "Wub da zkah.." ponders Morzha'rax
