  2. Map of Lower Petra As time goes on land changes, and as such, new maps must be made. As the King's Road was constructed I knew, that new map must be made, to show the glory of the new Lower Petra and show all subjects of the Kingdom of Oren. The following map is a gift to Frederick I, for he showed me mercy and gave me a chance to redeem myself, so I shall make maps for his lands to show that I shall not waste the chance I have been given. -=map of Lower Petra 1879=- Signed Viktor van Darkwood
  3. Maps of Darkwood -=Mapmaker in the process of making a map=- As years go by and time goes on land and men change, yet this change must be noted, recognized and mapped. Under this idea I, Viktor Darkwood open the Maps of Darkwood shop, to all Interested, be it in commissioning maps, buying empty maps to take part in the art yourselves or ordering paper based items, come, one and all, for I shall deliver what is needed for a fair price. To find me come to the city square of Vienne or send a bird to the aviary of the Kingdom of Oren. Come now rather than later and get something that shall remain for centuries to come!
  4. Map of the Kingdom of Oren Circa 1878 As years have passed and dust of conflict has settled I, having returned to Oren saw a need for a new map to be made as the ones of old speak only of the Holy Orenian Empire. So I set out to show the might of the Kingdom and its vast lands to all. As such here today I present the map of the Kingdom of Oren and the Map of the Kingdom of Oren with its regions. For what a better way to celebrate a decade passing of the Kingdoms rule. -=-=-= Map of the Kingdom of Oren=-=-=- -=-=-=Map of the Kingdom of Oren with regions=-=-=- Signed Viktor Darkwood
  5. Proclamation of a Dusk Days go by, weeks, months, years even, time passes. People wither and die, plants go old and buildings crumble, nations fall and families disappear into nothingness. As I stand here today, having seen death and destruction beyond what could be imagined I gaze at what the future may hold. I gaze at the legacy of my family, at its roots, accomplishments, deeds, so much done, so much reached, though now, now I look at what it has become. Enough seen to break a tear, a dying corpse of what it once was, so I say. Enough. It is clear that the time of Darkwoods is not now, scattered and broken, the wound shall not heal, as such I send my sole son and heir into the world, to travel, learn and return when the time is right. I, I shall remain, as I am bound by an oath, I shall work now and forever more until my flesh gives out to restore what honor once was to the name, and then I shall end what is so that it could be rebuilt. To all Darkwoods out there, it is time for a dusk now so that one day a dawn may occur for our house. Signed Viktor Darkwood
  6. The Darkwood Summit ~Meeting of the Darkwoods~ For years division and strife has found its place with the Darkwood name, no longer I say, no longer are we to be scattered in our purpose, in our goals and life. This, this is a call to all of Darkwood blood, the time has come to stop this division and end what has been fractured. For years I have seen stagnation and the family scattered all around Almaris. No more, a time for unity has come, to restore glories of times past. Our right in the world was earned by hard word and the blood of our ancestors, it is time we live up to the legacy. As such I call to those who live, tis time we speak, tis time we reconcile and make our way ahead in the world. Tis time to meet in the place where it all began, to meet in Oren, Now the Kingdom of Oren Signed Viktor Darkwood
  7. The Long March ~The Imperial State Army soldiers rallying together once more~ Few were those who survived the battle, but those few endured, survived and gathered together. The soldiers tired, their armor battered and weapons dulled by battle, yet their spirit was not broken. The Imperial State Army, its remnants, rallied, scattered by the battle, moved forth, outside the borders of their former home. These soldiers who endured. These soldiers gathered together with their wounded leader, the man gazing at the soldiers with his sole eye. The soldiers were rallied, gathered, now a new home must be found, a new land to rest in and call home. It would seem that the fate of the soldiers of the Former Imperial State Army is not over yet, as they arrived within new lands. A bird arrives at their leader, a message. A gaze set at the horizon. “And so, our long march begins” The captain would note to his comrades.

Major Velhrun Darkwood would read the missive over a few times, after the third time he would look back at the accomplishments of the retired Lieutenant, his advancement from a mere recruit to a Lieutenant and note: "We enlisted at almost the same time, he was a good comrade his actions in the 3rd were commendable and he did not fail the empire during his service, a model officer and soldier in many ways. No matter of his place of passing he will be noted amongst those who have served with honor, that is all i can do to thank him for his assistance as a Lieutenant and even before that against bandit scum, i hope you find peace in whatever comes next for you."
  21. Yes, due to to the simple fact that it would be highly logical irp vise that such a weapon or something like it would not be created by simple innovation and creativity of someone somewhere, the fact is that technology should progress and hence firearms should be created as new resources get found or new ways to use existing resources are thought of. Technology of war and life in general progresses, and if it does not for some reason then it simply ruins the feeling of living in an actual world ,some people may dislike it, but when the guns were first invented there were people against them too, so progress should take priority.

(Written as the character telling his life story) I was born in a small farmstead that was quite isolated from the rest of the world because as my father had put it:”We make enough for ourselves, so we could live a decent life, we don’t need to trade or talk with others”, my early years were spent learning what i could from my father and mother, my father tried to mold me to become a farmer with no higher desires in life, the fool, for i would be unwilling and somewhat unable to become such a common peasant, mostly due to my will to become something great, and the fact that i was not so above average physically could also have played a small factor in that. But alas,as my years grew so did my intelligence and plans. When i was nearing the seventh year of my life i got a little brother, the few years that followed were a nightmare for me. When i was twelve years old my father informed me that i would inherit the farm and that i should “man up” as he said. Following this the next few years i searched for every bit of knowledge i could in the farm , sadly it was not much so i only gained a basic understanding of common social gestures and geography, my efforts of course were undermined by my family, who spent this time amazed by my brother who seemed to be just the perfect peasant to be.In the end my education if you even could call it that was very basic. When i was 16 i had gone near the local road and met some elven scholars there and to my luck they knew common so i could talk with them, after a short talk i had discovered that they were heading to The Eternal Library in The Silver State of Haelun’or as it had been reopened that year, i was intrigued by this and the moment i got home i noted it down so maybe, just maybe i could get there one day. After this i gone to the nearby road every day i could so i could gain more knowledge of the world and what was happening in it. For a few years this wielded just minor scraps of information about the nearby settlements Oren and Urguan. When i turned 20, my motivation to grow physically had increased, but what had increased more was my fear of death as one may put it, as i had picked up from the travelers that there was a war happening in the north west between elves, war of ironwood, and in contrast to my previously simple and peaceful life this had agitated me as i was hit with the understanding that i will probably die one day, so i did the logical thing and rejected such a revelation, how could one such as me die? When i became 21, my mind was already set on what needed to be done in my life, i came to the conclusion that i should in one way or the another obtain immortality and that i should also become a ruler, because what other life could be suited to one such as i? I had gained goals, now i forged plans, starting with how i would sell the farm to gain the money needed to learn and obtain a proper education for one such as i. At the good age of 22 i was greeted with a terrible surprise, my father had decided that my brother instead of me would get the farm after his death, which was approaching as both he and my mother were getting quite old, this i could not take, how did he dare to deny me my birthright and give it to brother who was no better then a common peasant, so i did the most logical thing, i locked him and my mother and my brother in a room, dressed myself in the best clothes we had, took some food and my notes with me and set fire to the building, i watched as my inferior family burned like the common idiots they were. After this “accidental fire incident” i took off to the world to gain power, wealth and immortality by any means necessary.
