  1. Father Drusco knelt before the chapel of Waldemer. "O' Lord, my Majesty, proffer unto me the same guidance you have shown St. Adrian and St. Lucien, so that we may champion the cause of our Faith, in Your image."
  2. Sir Jon Derfey smirks Savoyardly.
  3. Father Drusco marks the date for the Ecumenical Council. "We continue onwards."
  4. That evening, the Savoyard reverend returned to his sanctuary within Waldemer’s ancient walls, his weathered boots carrying the dust of a pilgrimage that had stretched across countless months. Sacred relics and worn scriptures weighed heavy in his traveling satchel: treasures gathered from distant shrines and forgotten monasteries. “There is a message for you, Father. From Alaric.” His young acolyte and personal secretary, Sanctimonious Derfey, appeared at his side like a shadow. “Ah, it must be his proposals for what the future of our Canondom will be.” He mentioned to Derfey, following him through the corridors after his long absence. The Father, bone-weary and hollowed by the endless roads he had traveled, broke the wax seal of Alaric’s letter with trembling fingers. His eyes, once bright with the fervor of faith, now widened in dawning horror as they consumed each word. The parchment slipped from his grasp as he sank into his chair, burying his face in his hands while the silence of his chamber pressed around him.
  5. "What a spineless man. Am I supposed to ask for forgiveness for being a Canonist? Are you not a Canonist? We are all protected and our safety has already been guaranteed by the Imperials, so long as we keep the peace. And we shall keep the peace, through the Council." Father Drusco said, before remarking further: "Haeseni priests used to actually be good at scheming. What happened?"
  6. Father Drusco spits out his morning tea in surprise. "A decade???"
  7. To the Flock, First and foremost, I am no Raevir. This is no Raev conspiracy. I trace my proud heritage to the Ashford. My people are a proud people, whom trace their blood to the illustrious Guy de Bar. It was him, alongside the Ven. King Olivier de Savoie, whom once learnt of the Aesterwald Schism, quickly cut down the heretics of the Mardonic League. Olivier de Savoie, Defender of the Faith, would indeed prove successful in his endeavor. By God's grace and His righteous might, the schismatics were defeated, unity was restored to fractured humanity, and the faithful side of mankind endured. The Ashfords are renowned for their zealous Canonism. For the past six centuries, all humans have been Canonist. Understand this Truth: the tale of the Canonist is not just the tale of the Raev, the Kaedreni, the Savoyard, the Adrian, nor the Imperial. The tale of the Canonist is the tale of humanity. Is our human identity now heretical? Look upon our blessed Saints and those we venerate, they were Canonists to their very passing. Consider our dear Pontiffs of blessed memory: Jude II and Caius, who upheld the sacred traditions of the Canon and Holy Scrolls passed down through apostolic succession. Were they schismatics? To call into question the legitimacy of the Modern Canon is to question every single Pontiff of the Modern Canon. What does this mean for the foundation of our faith? By ordering us to be slain, they wish to nullify our votes for the Ecumenical Council, to silence our voices in the very change we sought from the beginning. Perhaps today, my crime is being Canonist. And I likely will die for it. On Imperial Authority They will say that there is an agenda to undermine the Empire. Such accusations are as baseless as they are offensive. My people fought for Philip III, died for the van Aert Captain-Generals, and led armies to the cause of Tiberias. His Imperial Majesty Tiberias I is my rightful Emperor, and his sons shall be my Emperors after him. Blessings be upon them. On other various “conspiracies” against the Faith On this matter, I find myself truly astounded by the accusations leveled against faithful servants of the Church. The treatises posted by myself and the good Father Basim were nothing more than earnest pleas for unity; appeals to end sectarian disputes that have weakened our unity and return to the old vigor that once made us strong. When the Diet in Alba was resolved to be called, I was approached by several guards of Numendil, accompanied by two members of the Curia: Avartagh and the former Tar, Anorhil. I believed they shared my fervent desire to see the Church active and vital once more! However, they informed me that such a body would possess no ecclesiastical authority. Being a servant of the faithful, I obliged their concerns immediately. The planned Diet became instead a simple public forum for civil discussion amongst all ordained ministers of the Faith. They told me that we will, peacefully, convene an Ecumenical Council, together. And so, I waited. Where then is this alleged conspiracy? What crime has the good Bishop Josefina, Godfrey, and the good Fr. Basim committed, save caring for the welfare of our Holy Church? The True Story of St. High Pontiff Daniel ‘the Reader’ I am compelled by duty to address the grotesque distortions of sacred history that have emerged from certain quarters. In these troubled times, there are those who would compound our present sorrows by poisoning the very wellsprings of our memory. They seek to transform our greatest saint into a villain, our deliverer into a destroyer, our restorer into a usurper. The accusations against the blessed Saint Daniel, whom they dare to reduce to a mere "heresiarch”, reveal not truth, but the desperate machinations of those who cannot reconcile their sectarian prejudices with the clear testimony of history. Let us examine these calumnies with the clear light of reason and the unwavering commitment to truth that our saint himself exemplified. When the young priest who would become our Saint penned those fateful Twenty-One Theses under the name Simon of Khazav, he was a mere prelate, with no ecclesiastical authority at all. He was a humble priest, orphaned by the very violence he sought to condemn. His beloved ward-father, King Francis, had been brutally murdered in the sanctity of his own halls by the very soldiers of that corrupt Darfeyist Church which claimed to serve the Almighty. The Theses themselves stand as monuments to truth. They exposed genuine corruption. High Pontiff Paul III of Darfey indeed orchestrated extrajudicial regicide. Innocent children were slaughtered in the massacre, and priests murdered for the crime of loyalty to their sovereign. These are not the fantasies of sectarian hatred, but documented atrocities that cry out to heaven for justice. The Twenty-One Theses were not, as our detractors would have us believe, heretical screeds born of ambition or sectarian malice. They were instead the anguished cry of one who had witnessed the Church of his fathers descend into the most deplorable tyranny, with bloodthirsty political ambitions. To condemn such a witness is to condemn the truth itself. But truly, how does one lay priest have the ‘power’ to dismantle a Church? That is nonsense. Here lies the most exquisite and revealing irony in these accusations, one that exposes the fundamental dishonesty of those who would rewrite our sacred history to suit their partisan purposes. They heap blame upon Saint Daniel for the sin of "caesaropapism", when it was in truth the saintly Peter Chivay who implemented such measures. Saint Peter, blessed by his eternal memory, was divinely appointed as Emperor when the very apparition of the Exalted Godfrey appeared before his assembled forces at the base Mount Augustus, whispering the holy name of Chivay in heavenly approval. This was no mere political maneuvering, but a divine mandate made manifest. This blessed Emperor, anointed by a Prophet himself, read those same Twenty-One Theses and made the decision to place the Church under his oversight to reconcile the bloodshed and Massacre. It was this Prophet-anointed Emperor that deposed Darfey, and ensured that future Darfeyist corruption might never again stain the sacred halls of our faith. Saint Daniel, conversely and most ironically, was the very Pontiff who later restored the Church's independence from such imperial control! When Providence elevated him to the pontifical throne, he explicitly declared in his first address that "by no means shall our church be subject to an Emperor," and established the autonomous Modern Canon that guides us to this very day. The supposed architect of caesaropapism was, in divine truth, its vanquisher and our liberator. This contradiction reveals this profound blindness like a spiritual malady. They cannot bring themselves to admit that their beloved Saint Peter, though he acted righteously to prevent ecclesiastical tyranny, was the one who made this temporal arrangement. Why is that? They cannot rebuke Peter Chivay because he is the Kaedreni forefounder and hero! To do so would shatter their carefully constructed narrative of Kaedreni purity. Instead, they must transform the very saint who corrected this arrangement and restored our sacred autonomy into a villain of their own imagination. They judge not by works accomplished in service to God, but by the accident of bloodline. They measure virtue not by the fruits of faithful labor, but by the partisan allegiances of ancestry. Saint Daniel is responsible for formalizing the canonical doctrine that binds us in unity, and worked with tireless devotion for the healing of Church divisions. These are not the accomplishments of a heresiarch bent on destruction, but of a faithful reformer dedicated to restoration. Let us therefore judge our saints as our Lord judges them - by the fruits of their sacred labor, not by the fantasies born of partisan hatred. In Unity We Shall Preserve My dear brothers and sisters, we shall not falter in our sacred mission. I am confident that the Imperial Dragon Knights and soldiers serve at the direction of only His Imperial Majesty, and not Adunian agents. I shall wait fervently for his call to our safety within the lands of the Empire. We shall maintain the peace that our forefathers fought to establish. We shall preserve the unity that the Exalted prophets envisioned. And we shall continue to serve the faithful with the same devotion that Saint Daniel himself exemplified when he restored our Church from the ashes of corruption. Let it be known to all who seek refuge from ecclesiastical chaos that our doors in Drusco remain open. The faithful may worship without fear of violence. Here, the Divine Mission continues unabated, guided by the wisdom of the saints and the eternal truth of the Holy Scrolls. We choose the path of reconciliation. We choose the pursuit of truth. We choose unity. The Lord has not abandoned His Flock, nor shall His faithful abandon one another. In Drusco, our flame burns eternal, and all who seek the light of truth shall find welcome in our communion. Yours in eternal service to the divine mission, Father Drusco
  8. Guys this empire is just like oren…
  9. "Let's gooooo!!!" Says Father Drusco.
  10. Over a cup of evening tea in Waldemer, Father Drusco shares this thesis with Archduke Roger. @Vikenz “It seems many reflect my thesis on our Divine Mission: that the Holy Communion has been broken by sacrilege. I must meet with such another visionary.”
  11. "We shall fix the Darfeyist revisionism, together." says Father Drusco.
  12. [!] A letter shows up on his door “To my reverend brother, It pains me to see that you write with such ire of a flock that has committed no crime other than a plea for help. Our Mother Church mustn’t be a closed door, but instead the welcoming home of our Lord’s Light. The gathering we will have with Alba is no more than a public forum, such that we may have further discussion with our greater members, and formalize these discussions into important points for the Greater Synod. Of course, we do not assume any ecclesiastical authority! You are invited to this forum as equally as anyone else! Despite these grave words, know that I have no ire for malice in my heart for you, dear brother. You are welcome to Drusco any time. Fr. Drusco”
  13. RESOLUTION FOR AN ECCLESIASTICAL DIET To All Faithful Servants of the Divine Mission, WHEREAS, The Holy Church of the Canon finds itself in a state of unprecedented crisis, having suffered grievous wounds to its sacred order and divine mission; There exists a vacuum of ecclesiastical leadership at the highest levels; Theological divisions have deepened into harmful sectarian strife, dividing the faithful when unity in our divine mission is most desperately needed; The sacred Canon Law, which has served as the backbone of ecclesiastical order and the foundation of proper Church governance, has been abolished entirely, leaving the faithful without structure, guidance, or recourse to justice; The blasphemous act of burning and destroying the Pontifical throne of Saint Daniel, symbol of our Church's sacred authority and continuity, representing the symbolic destruction of the Church of the Canon and the desecration of our most holy traditions for over 600 years; His Majesty the King of Idunia styles himself as High Priest and declared himself successor to the blessed Clement, in opposition to sacred tradition, which mandates that all pontifical succession must be determined by election of the College of Cardinals, not by royal decree; These manifold crises require immediate attention and collective action from all who serve the divine mission, lest our Holy Church collapse under the weight of neglect; THEREFORE, we, the undersigned faithful servants of the Lord, do hereby resolve and call for the convening of an Ecclesiastical Diet to be held within the sacred church of Alba, directed by Cardinal Alaric, for the purpose of addressing these urgent matters and restoring proper order to our Holy Church; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Diet shall be open to all ordained priests and ministers of the faith, as well as His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Man and Fidei Defensor, who may participate in discussions concerning leadership of the Church and the restoration of ecclesiastical law; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the nobility and laymen of the realm shall be welcome to attend as spectators, that they may witness the Church's commitment to transparency and proper governance in these sacred proceedings; We call upon all who hold the fire of our Mother Church and serve the Divine Mission to unite in this sacred endeavor, that our Mother Church may emerge unified, and better equipped to shepherd the faithful. Signed, Father Drusco, Vicar of the Most High Order of St. Vydra T.M.R, His Eminence, Patriarch of Jorenus, Pontifical Prosecutor, Prefect for the Episcopate Brother Beaumont Josefina Bishop Gelimar, Holy Ser Bamboo Brother Anselm Father Witmar Father Bainbridge, PRINCIPAL JUSTICE EMERITUS OF THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE OF THE CHURCH OF THE CANON “And with the third son of spirit, no more shall prophet rule as king.” (Gospel: 59)
  14. Father Drusco nails a sign outside of Estevot’s door that said: “Long live Tiberias. Ave Imperium.”
  15. High Pontiff Daniel VI presiding over the Diet of Varoche 10th of Sigismund’s End, 2036 My dear brothers and sisters in faith, I am a humble servant of the Lord, more shepherd than scholar, dwelling in modest quarters within the walls of Drusco. What comfort I find in prayer and service, I offer freely to those who seek the divine light, for I have been blessed to receive an education in theology and scripture, and have made my calling as a minister to the faithful. I am grateful to the Lord for this sacred position, but I fear that many do not have the same reverence for the unity of our Holy Mission as I do. Since my ordination, I have been a devotee not simply of ritual and ceremony, but of the Divine Purpose that binds us all as one body beneath God. The only circumstance in which this can be achieved is through a Church that both shepherds the souls of its flock while also requiring them to, in part, defer their own interests to that of the collective Faith and the Divine Will. Discipleship in service of salvation is the purpose of our Holy Canonist Church. What is our Church? In truth, it is simply the body of all believers united under the Divine Mission. To be Canonist can be explained as simply as to serve the Lord and His flock. This is an incontrovertible, undeniable calling that cannot be muddied by sectarian dispute or ecclesiastical confusion: ergo, those serving the Almighty, serve alongside all who share this Sacred Duty. There can be nothing less divisive or factional. There are those unfortunate souls who persist to undermine this, to shift the definition of something that by nature is fixed for short-sighted theological purposes. They will speak of Sigismundists and Owynists, as if these are separate churches and not branches of the same divine tree from which our Faith has grown. There are those who wonder why we should concern ourselves with unity when they very easily could retreat to their own interpretations and do nothing so as to save themselves the trouble of reconciliation. This is the most curious and misguided fiction that I have heard propagated. A wound to one part of the body is a wound to us all. It is the responsibility of the Church to shepherd all its children, just as it is the responsibility of the faithful to contribute to the greater good and defer to the instruction of the Lord. There exists a multitude of laws between the shepherd and the flock, and our Faith is one comprised of these laws. Make no mistake, this is not some collection of competing sects that can be simply torn apart by theological disputes, where the parties involved pick and choose which doctrines they shall follow and which they shall find more convenient to ignore. We are one Church, one Faith, under one God, with one divine mission and the blessing of one eternal truth. Yet how can we speak of unity when the very foundation of our ecclesiastical order has been trampled underfoot? The sacred tradition of apostolic succession, which flows from blessed Everaistus through Holy Clement to all rightful successors, has been perverted by temporal ambition. When earthly Kings dare to claim the mantle of Clement's succession as “High Priest” without election by the sacred College of Cardinals, we witness not divine appointment but the gravest of blasphemies. This is caesaropapism of the most abhorrent kind - the subjugation of our Church to the whims of temporal authority. From the earliest apostles to the blessed martyrs to the holy prophets, all believed in the brotherhood of Faith over all. Since the dissolution of proper Canon Law, this dream has degraded, and so too has our spiritual vitality. We are divided, confused, our dioceses empty and more destitute of guidance. We are bitter, torn up between sectarian disputes and theological rivalries, having lost sight of our common calling. The halls of our churches and seminaries are, combined, only shadows of what they once were by all accounts. We have become obsessed with titles, hierarchies, pride and systems of deference to earthly authority. That is not what to serve the Lord ought to be about. It is about ordinary faithful, working together as a congregation does, under the Vicar of God who establishes our direction. Without the faithful working together, there is schism and collapse. Without proper spiritual guidance, the flock is aimless and listless as it wanders in the wilderness of confusion. We must depart, at last, from conflict between competing interpretations and feuding theological schools. Many may read this letter and think of writing back to me with an excuse, justifying what is tantamount to spiritual treason through rhetoric or canonical fiction. To say “the Sigismundists follow a false prophet, therefore we must cast out his name” is no argument at all. That is sectarianism of the greatest form. There are some who have become so caught up in doctrinal disputes that they believe to be theologically correct is to be inherently right. There has never been a more dangerous fiction in our ecclesiastical history. Without proper guidance and Divine righteousness, to take up theological arms and divide the faithful is nothing more than spiritual warfare. If we do not conduct ourselves with true faith, pastoral integrity and devotion to our divine mission above all, we are lost souls who shall wander for all eternity. I believe in the Church of the Canon, and the salvation of all faithful above all. Yours in service to the Divine Mission, Father Drusco

  17. The morning sun cast long shadows across the fertile fields of Drusco when Ser Jon de Lewes set down his plow and wiped the honest sweat from his weathered brow. The old knight had risen before dawn to tend the land alongside his brothers-in-arms, Arnaud Mortimer and Louis d'Cole. It was Louis who first spotted the riders fleeing from the Margrave's keep. He cursed, pointing toward the distant castle. "Look there - Avistran colors!" “They have Roger!” Jon's aged eyes, still sharp from decades of battlefield vigilance, caught sight of the terrible truth. Among the fleeing horsemen rode a figure bound and helpless - their beloved Margrave Roger de Rouen. Without hesitation, Arnaud sprinted toward the bell tower. The bronze voice of war rang out across the land, its deep tolling echoing from hill to hill. Within the space of Waldemer Keep, the courtyard filled with steel and fury. Knights emerged from manor houses, sergeants from their barracks, men-at-arms from their morning duties. One hundred twelve souls in total, each bearing the mantle of the Vydric Order "Mount up!" Bohemond de Rouen commanded, his voice carrying the authority of his years. "Brothers!" Jon's voice carried across the assembled host. "Our liege has been stolen from us by treacherous dogs. Will we let this stand?" The roar that answered him shook dust from the stones. Armor was donned with practiced haste, weapons blessed with hurried prayers, and horses saddled with trembling hands. What followed was no ordinary pursuit. As the Vydric host thundered across the countryside toward Avistra, their horses seemed to gain strength with each passing league. Jon felt it first - a presence riding beside them, invisible yet unmistakable. The spirit of Edmond de Rouen, the ancient patriarch of their house, had awakened from his eternal rest to aid his descendants. The very ground beneath their hooves grew firm and sure. When they reached the towering walls of Avistra's keep - walls that should have been impossible for mounted men to scale - their blessed steeds began to climb. Stone by stone, their horses ascended those sheer faces as if walking on level ground. The Avistran sentries, lazy with false confidence behind their high walls, barely had time to cry out before Lucien de Savoie’s blade found their throats. The Vydric knights poured through the gatehouse like a tide of righteous steel, their war cries echoing through the courtyards. In the great hall, the Avistran garrison hastily formed ranks. Perhaps sixty men in mail and leather faced the cloaked soldiers of Drusco. Their captain shouted commands while keeping the Margrave Roger bound at his side like a human shield. The clash was swift. Wilfred and Bohemond’s lances shattered the enemy's front rank like kindling, while Jon pressed through their center with the fury of his younger days alongside Arnaud. Three Avistran sergeants fell to Killian Greye and Louis d’Cole’s blades before they could even raise their guards. Around him, Hughes Ashes, Godfrey Suthermont, and Lucien Branleigh fought with divine purpose, each strike guided by sacred duty. The battle raged with desperate intensity. Tables overturned, benches splintered, and steel rang against steel in the smoky hall. The Avistrans fought with the desperation of cornered rats, but they faced men blessed by St. Vydra himself. When their captain attempted to use the bound Margrave as protection against their advance, he sealed his own doom. Lucien de Savoie, in a feat of arms that would be sung in the halls of Drusco for generations to come, vaulted over a fallen table and struck the treacherous captain down with a single, perfect blow that split him from shoulder to heart. With their captain dead and their ranks broken, the surviving Avistrans fled in terror. The Avistran garrison lay utterly broken, fourty of their number had found their graves in their own hall. Their survivors had scattered to the four winds like chaff before the storm. Before departing with their Margrave, the Vydric knights secured their own prize - the Margravine of Avistra. She would be treated with courtesy due her station, but held until proper justice could be administered. Behind them, the walls of Avistra stood silent and broken, a testament to the price of treachery against the faithful servants of Drusco. Victory to Drusco! Blood for Roger!
  18. “Ave Imperium.” Says Father Drusco
  19. Petition for the Canonization of Sir Edmond of the Blackwald To His Holiness, the High Pontiff of the Canonist Church, and the Most Venerable College of Cardinals, I, Father Drusco, humble servant of the Lord, come before Your Holiness with a heart full of reverence to petition for the canonization of Sir Edmond of the Blackwald, a well-storied man, whom in his life embodied the virtues of our faith through unwavering devotion and valorous deeds done in defense of Canonism. The Life and Virtues of Sir Edmond Born in the frontier province of Arentania, Sir Edmond de Rouen began his journey as a man of humble origins. Through dedication to both martial prowess and devotion to the faith, he rose to become a respected knight in service to the Principality of Savoy, the Empire, and the Commonwealth of Petra. Throughout his life, he demonstrated the virtues cherished by our Faith. As documented in the annals of his life, Sir Edmond was known for his generosity toward the common folk of the lands he protected. He offered aid to those displaced by conflict and ensured fair treatment of peasants within his jurisdiction. Despite opportunities for greater wealth or power, Sir Edmond maintained a life of moderation, focusing on his duties as a knight and servant of the faith rather than worldly gain. Defense of the Canonist Faith The most profound testament to Sir Edmond's devotion to our faith came during the Rozanian rebellion, when the Principality of Savoy answered the call of Prince Oisín against the apostate forces of Roziana. As recorded in the chronicles of this conflict, Rozana had become a haven for half-elves, apostates, and housed followers of false religions (such as Clan Redfist), alongside dark mages and voidal practitioners. Sir Edmond served valiantly in this holy conflict, joining the forces of Prince Oisín in 1573. Sir Edmond led the knights of Savoy and fought to uphold the true faith against a realm that permitted the practice of heretical magic and false religions. During this conflict, Sir Edmond distinguished himself not only through martial prowess but through his unwavering faith, which inspired those who fought alongside him. The following is chronicled in a tale by Lord Marshal Alexandre d’Aryn: “When the loyal forces of Prince Oisín, Sedanians, and Savoyards found themselves besieged within the keep of Louisville by the apostate Rustlers who had surrounded the fortification, Sir Edmond was among those defenders trapped within. The Rustlers, known for their barbaric practices, surrounded the keep of the faithful defenders significantly, and despair began to grip many hearts. On the eve of what many believed would be their final stand, Sir Edmond called upon his fellow warriors to kneel in prayer at the keep's chapel. Following the conclusion of his prayer, the knights charged into battle with Sir Edmond at their fore, and though surrounded, they broke through the enemy lines and secured a vital position that turned the tide of that day's conflict.” It is also noted that during the Petran Civil War, Sir Edmond valiantly fought as a Field Marshal against Archduchess Renilde, upon learning of her crime of adultery. The Miracles of Sir Edmond I) His successful flight from San Luciano with one hundred men while surrounded by eight thousand of the Tripartite Accord. Despite the vastly inferior numbers, he was able to break through their lines and escape to safety. Not a man with him was slain. II) As he died along the banks of the River Petra, the light of the moon broke through the clouds that covered the sky. The light illuminated his gauntlets and caused the area around him to be basked in the moonlight. Father Blackwater, in the Chronicles of Sir Edmond of the Blackwald I humbly submit that Sir Edmond of the Blackwald lived a life that exemplified the virtues of Canonism and defended the faith against those who would corrupt or destroy it. I therefore petition Your Holiness and the venerable Council to consider the eligibility of Sir Edmond of the Blackwald’s canonization, that his example of martial prowess in service to the faith might inspire the faithful warriors of our church for generations to come, and that his memory might strengthen our resolve in times when the faith is threatened. With deepest reverence and humility, Father Drusco Written on the 3rd of the Sun's Smile, in the Year 2025
  20. The once Chancellor of Oren turns in his grave.
  21. Where did you get the inspiration of Derfey from?
  22. A letter reaches in response. "To the Prince in Reinmar, I will not speak for Numendil, for that is not my parish, but I can speak for my brethren in Burgundy and Drusco. You speak of a lack of purpose, and I must agree with you. Of course, how can our sons of Horen have any purpose when we are divided? When there is no national pride that all humans can point to? When there is no collective form of humanity, there is no shared goal. When there is not a central governing authority to promote this shared goal and require its citizens to set aside their private interests for the common good of the human state, there will never be an 'order' of which you speak. From your points, it seems that you are inclined to agree to some form of collective interest. To your point of our offers of refuge, I do not understand why, but know this: the Tapestry of Man does not discriminate, nor should it discriminate. Our objective is as such: Give us your mercenaries, priests, tea-sippers, second-sons, bastards, and petty thieves, and we will turn them into God-fearing subjects who will push the progress of humanity through our institutions. Humbly, Father Drusco."
