  1. The Enswerpian Heiress of Rethel beams upon seeing the missive. A new era has been reached, and one she is proud to be part of. With her Lorraine cross held tightly, she nods. "Glory be to GOD."

  3. Cathryn reads the warrant with a furrowed brow, a conflicted heart. She knows many Mages who carry GOD with them and honor the scrolls in their every moment. What of those in her family, in her city? Surely it must be some kind of mistake. The young squire folds the paper, holding it to her chest as she exhales a short prayer.
  4. it's fine wilford is older than dirt anyways as for NLship, i was offered the character by my friend zaerie who was NL at the time, and had been for majority of my time in petra. really, it was just an offer to play one of their kids, which i was thrilled to do, until it became an offer to be NL. so, i don't really have much advice there- i was kinda drawn from a hat. it came with the offer than hom, my irl partner, would be my consort (and they were! we're a package deal) and that we'd run the petra half of the heartlands- you can see how that ended LOL. but it was stressful, i won't lie. being NL was probably one of the roughest periods on my mental health i've had to deal with, especially with the heartlands crisis taking place over my birthday (at least i was turning old enough to drink). my biggest advice? rely on your team. not entirely, of course, you have to be self sufficient, but TAKE HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT. do NOT try to shoulder everything, but also do not pass so many things off. there has to be balance. do not sacrifice yourself, but don't sacrifice your team. and don't take anyone's shit. elowyn is actually a human! she's an adunian, technically. i've played a few elves but haven't been able to get into the community (no hate to y'all). i've ALWAYS wanted to play a cursed child, since i first started on the server, but the chance has never arisen. if it ever presented itself i would ******* LEAP to do so, i love the concept, i love the designs, i love them.
  5. oh god i have a few, depending on the character- but wilford and adalia are closest to my heart by far. for wilford, it had to be getting stabbed in haense LOL he was like twenty at the time, and stanislaw (OGs remember) wanted a cursed child dead, ordered the BSK to do it. wilford got in the way arguing that the kid was like 7 years old and clearly did not CHOOSE to be the way he was, and dared the guard to stab him and prove how corrupt the BSK was. and he did :] the wonderful sarahbarah ended up pardoning the kid after he was arrested by the BSK and that's how wilford befriended amaya of venzia for adalia, it was DEFINITELY when she received michael's blessing. she'd been training her entire life for it, and she knew it was what she wanted to do from a very young age. it felt so satisfying for both my ooc and irp work to pay off. shoutout to turkey, i miss u bro. i was a big percy jackson kid, and that definitely influenced my writing style as a whole since i've been doing creative writing from a very young age, but more recently i'd have to say games like the last of us, red dead redemption, baldur's gate, dragon age, etc have massively influenced my style as well, from dialogue to narration. personally, i'm really proud of my writing on this server and i think it's helped me improve overall. as for inflection points, there's quite a few, especially from my time as NL over those 29 weeks. i won't get into detail about the specific instance i mean but i definitely should have put my foot down instead of letting things take its course. and of course there were a few things in the heartlands but uh, that period sucked massively anyways so i think that's more of a "if ANYTHING had been done differently things could have been way worse"
  6. hey guys what's up it's me moth. i got bored so i'm doing an AMA- i joined the server for the first time in june of 2020, played for a week in oren and got bored, and then rejoined because a friend started playing in june of 2023. by the end of that year, i was in governments, knights, etc etc, and then by this time last year, i was NL of petra. so, hit me. ask me whatever you'd like, if we're friends, if we've never spoken, if you don't like me, whatever you want. i was gonna put an image here but supposedly i've used all my attachment space! enjoy.
  7. A Templar grins as she sees the missive, filling out the form to participate. Win or lose, it’s sure to be fun, and good exercise.
  8. Though miles and miles way, a young doctor is handed a missive, grinning as she takes it from her assistant. The woman reads over the words, her snow-white eyes widening at every letter. “Oh, GOD… What have I missed?”
  9. An old Petran knight, and veteran of the Veletzian war thanks GOD he’s too old to do that shit again, and goes back to his nap.
  10. The nightingale watches from her perch, a soft song drifting into the night.
  11. As she recovers, the younger Lorelei prepares a few letters to write. Her hand holds tightly onto the Lorraine around her neck as she prays, for her mother, herself, and the future of their house. A future she knows will be bright.
  12. why is it so hard for people to be normal and not make jokes like that

  13. The Heiress, and former owner of the leg, is taking some time to rest and heal from the amputation so she can use the wonderfully designed prosthetics made by the dwed!
  14. Cathryn's brow furrows in further confusion at the missive, the young page quickly learning about taking things at face value. "Ich zhought zhat conquest vasn't der main goal of zhe var- Vhy ist everyein now attempting to claim zhrones und nations?"
  15. A young Petran page tilts her head to the side, her brow furrowed in confusion as she reads the missive. A small, judgmental scoff escapes Cathryn's lips as she crumples it, and throws it into the fire. "Nicht much of a claim if he doesn't know zhere's multiple zhings beyond blood to have any claim to zhe Zhrone. Ich bet His Majesty vill get ein kick out of zhis."
  16. The young Cathryn gasps at the size of the donation, shoving the missive in her brother’s face. “Look! Look at zhis!!! Zhis is how ve can help, vithout mutter und vater’s wrath!” @fenharel
  17. The little wolf had been ushered out of the keep, when the armies had approached. Safe within the walls of Vallagne, Cathryn had no idea what was to happen to her home. But she knew two things- Her family was outnumbered, and the raiders would not fight fair. She had sat behind locked doors, her knife on her lap as she stared at herself in the blade. Six years old. That's all she was. But when she looked into the aurum of the weapon, she saw a warrior. She saw a Knight. She saw an avenger. In her heart she knew that her family would pass to the Skies, that despite their deaths GOD would honour them, as He would any pious warrior. That's what her family was. Pious warriors. All of them. Her gaze rose from the dagger, staring at the door before her as her little eyes narrowed. She knew what she would have to become. If only she were bigger.
  18. The little wolf remains blissfully unaware of the marching orders, continuing to go about the daily routines of any six year old because alas, her skygod has a job.
  19. The Lady-Regent of Enswerp smiles softly as she watches her mother depart for her journey, already having a quill and parchment set aside to send her as many check-ins as the woman may need. She prays silently for her mother's safety, and for GOD to guide her in her own regency.
  20. The Nightingale can rest easy, knowing that her son has grown into an honorable and just leader. Exactly the kind of man, and king, she knew he would be from a small age. The little wolf grins from ear to ear as she reads the missive, before stuffing it into her pocket. "Ve're nicht so helpless as zhey zhink ve are, ja? Ve're gonna be oke. Even if ve lose, ve are just, und ve carry GOD vith us, nein matter vhat."
