Tales of Solaris “And from the sight of light, I saw it all, the start and the beyond. Stars and more. The world was revealed to me when I was born.” — Solaris 1:3 Warning: Genesis When the world began, there was nothing. And so from nothing there was something, and that something was time. From the darkness came the creator, and his wisdom created our world and other beings and spirits. He was born from the Will of faith in the light above our skies, and the light was his wisdom and the skies beyond our blue is his domain. Solaris, or known to more common spiritualist as Aztran is a being of light, The father of stars, Suns and Galaxies. He was but one of many spirits that took form of a star, that had a conscious, a belief, a want to believe and to know. And so it was that around him were but stars, just like him, who did not share this desire to know more. Solaris did not feel alone, but he felt unique because he desired to be something more than just a thought, or a creation. In his path, he met other stars with a conscious, though no desire, however, he desired to be more than just what he already was, a being. He taught the other stars, all of which opened their desires and their identity. These stars saw him as a father, a mentor. The star children or Stellabri, as he called them, are but children of Solaris (Aztran), they are considered the lesser spirits and also take different forms but are presented in the mortal realm as stars with different colros and or constellations His Discovery.... ...Solaris then noticed our world, he knew that light shined on all land, but he did not know, that because of his light, life bloomed. This made but the Father of stars ever so prideful, joyous to see his shine bring prosperity to the land., His shine, brought prosperity, polarity, and truth, Solaris was healing the land, From it, he discovered a Mali’aheral by named Ed’kunril, who would always look to the sky. He spoke to the elf and taught him the most secrets of constellations and stars, The elf with such knowledge and wisdom he discovered those same star children. Though many called the elf insane, a set of them who were cultured by the belief of the sun & stars, the Mali’Solarii- formed the first Spiritual following of Solaris, The following of Oriasm. Through time, the Father of stars blessed lands of the past, with his eternal sunlight. With his light he blessed the first land of the Mali’Solarii and’aherrals, by healing its land from a flood, drying the land and nourishing it with light and substance. From this, the Oraistic followers believed Solaris had created a miracle, this would be considered the first Miracle. Solaris would take a look at the land which he blessed and saw that he gained praise for his blessings. From it, he introduced the Stellabri to the world, and from it, the Stellabri grew in size, more stars became apparent to the original belief and logic of Solaris, joining his family of stars, as Descendant kind began to name the stars per their family ways of life. These families are well known as Lytamari (Bloodlines) His healing… Through his time, Solaris suffered a time of Silence, The second prophet, figured this, as he was called the speaker who was unspoken. Because Solaris lacked communication with his kin and followers when they needed him most. However, due to this belief, the majority began to lose faith in Solaris, and his teachings, and so they began to give in to their Human and or Mali beliefs of God and (or) aspects/spirits. Due to this, the moon overcame Solaris's light, causing the darkness to overcome the lands once blessed by the father of stars and his eternal shine. This would be known as healing. Whilst the Eclipse was happening, Luvari, The Star of Night used her energy to heal Solaris, allowing him to be able to once more commune with his kin. During this time of the Eclipse, the Kin of Solaris had been cursed and or whitewashed, Solaris noticed this and became enraged by the first generation. He cursed the once blessed Land of Sol’Gunari, and the remnants of the Mali’Solarii were forced to find a new home in which the lesser star of Pil’ri had led them to. This event led them to another cursed land in which they once more begged Solaris, and he answered once more healing the land. Tales Of Solaris… The Tales of Solaris 1:1- In the beginning, there was nothing, and that nothing became something, from gas and air, came forth his light, and his light was bright. It was named, and so Solaris moved further and beyond, Soon he met other stars and began to name them as well. Ritaa, the second, son of valor and glory, pride & order, The sword. Evris the third, daughter of love, life, and fertility, the Ruby heart. Kaira the fourth, daughter of Guide of the Hunt, Mischeif & misfortune and her twin Pil’ri the Guide of Unity and Luck, family and trust, The Nine tail Foxes. Mihayar the fifth, Son of war and flame, Lord of rage and strength, The eternal blaze. 1:9- But it was not the end, for when he noticed the world below him, the lands of the descendant kind, he saw but blight and curses destroy the creator's dreams, and creations. Then his light began to shine, the world soon healed, and he noticed. 1:10- “My gift to you, the kind in which shall inhabit this land, and the lands which they shall grow and prosper.” 1:11- During his time overlooking the descendants. A mali’aherral named Ed’kunril one who followed the path of the Aspects and mani began to doubt his belief, he felt that the path had no base, no true worship, no physical being asking for praise. He wished to be a conduit of the voices of the aspects, Solaris took pity and began to talk to this Mali’. The father of stars soon began to speak his wisdom and logic to the Elf. 1:12- And from it, a culture was born, these sets of Mali, by the first speaker of Solaris, soon began to look up to the night sky, where the fathers stellabri were. Saying that our saints, spirits and Aspects, mani, and ancestors were all in the Astral plane, the sea of stars, and from it the first following began. 1:13-Then, the prophet Ed’kunril spoke “Listen here, my brothers and sisters, beckon unto me for I speak for the light. However, the Solarii, while being within this culture, did not fully delve into the belief of the Aspects the same way the Ame’ had. When Sun elves began to praise the aspects of the wild, they believed the aspects, and (or) any angle of that matter, had no physical appearance. This belief with faith was not enough for the ‘Solarii, without something to praise or simply admire, it felt meaningless, it made no sense in their mind. Followers of Oriasm would begin their path by seeking knowledge within the following. Scholars of the Mali'Solarii would not understand what exactly Solaris is, or why he became a big part of the daily life of a dedicated Solaric Spiritualist. However, it is known that the People who followed this path understood he was something greater. A spiritualist can correlate the similarities between Solaris to Aztran, the father of Galaxies, Suns, and stars and most of them would not be surprised to learn that in reality, Solaris and Aztran are but the same. His infinite view of all galaxies and stars, from it he gained the respect of different spirits which in the Scrolls of the Sun elves were known as Stellabri, or star children. These spirits are known to be lesser forms of Solaris however in the spiritualist world they are lesser spirits. Knowing such, Solaris tends to beckon more and more followers by showing them a path with purpose, which some stars tend to direct the non-believers into their miracle. These stars are known as Stellabri, A borrowed term from Flexio; Stella Liberi, or star children, are but lesser spirits that fall under the greater Star Spirit Solaris. Solaris embodies light, complete and utter warmth & a healthy new day Clarity Serenity & Logic, is the bright morning star, common folks know this as the sun. However ‘Solarii have taken the meaning of the sun and its many miracles and blessings and recognized it to be more than just a bright bulb of light shining upon the ground. Its eternal sunshine creates warmth, allows crops to gain nutrients, allows things to heal over time, and creates an even balance over the astral plane. The astral plane is used in many terms on spiritualist concepts. However, this one is both Similar and new. The Astral plane is the plane in which the deceased go to rest, the plane is also a domain for the stars to inhabit and watch over those who have crossed the skies. However, this Domain is only reachable by the method of Orialis. When one dies in the path of Orasim, it is known that a Ritual takes place, where their ashes are spread over an open field amongst the stars above. The spirit of those who were of good morality and or followed the path of Oriasm as a devoted follower of Solaris may reach the Astral plane, the domain of Solaris and his Stellabri. Following such ascension, it is uncommon to see a shooting star falling from the sky; this would represent the deceased individual's life ending, as a new star is born. -And when his prophet died, so did many stars. This dedicated one is one to not meddle in the affairs of other religions. And is a chosen prophet of Solaris himself. Orialis (Ori-a-lis)- A Funeralistic ritual done by Sun elven Spiritualist to send of their fellow kin to the Astral Plane Astral Plane (Stargush’o)- The plane which all spiritualists go to, this domain is handled by Kor- the star of life and death. Who follows him?.... Oriasm is a following that anyone can adapt to, many stars are founded upon new families who take the Astral Rite. However, within the following of Oriasm, there is a hierarchy. Those who take the path must understand who is in charge, who the Father speaks to Directly, and how things work. -For without order, there is no peace, for if there is no peace there is chaos and disorder, death and insanity cloud the world. Order must be maintained in forward to there be peace.- Tales of Ritaa I The Clergy The Kindlings are the beginning stage of the spiritualist following within the temple. A kindling is an aspirant, learning the ways of the spirits and being taught everything that they must know to embark in the starlit journey. A kindling is like a sheep, and the shamans, their pastor, Elders within the temple must help and guide these kindlings through their journey and help them maintain their faith in the stars. The next rank is the Priest/Priestess. Bound by their faith- the kindlings take up apprenticeship under a priest within the temple. This priest is then capable of teaching them the power of cursing, blessing, banishing, and animism. Once they accomplish their trials and their apprenticeship this kindling receives a locket and beads detailing their ascension to priesthood. A priest is the shepard, the protector of the faith; these shamans are capable of leading rituals and sermons as well as able to take up missions within the shaman lodge and the temple itself. Then there are Elders, wise beings of the lodge and of the temple. These are the leaders, the ones who share the burden of leading the temple with high keepers. Unlike the priest, they are capable of assigning missionary tasks and or missions to either the Knights or the priest. However the Elders are expected to assure the safety of those they are assigned to, if they do not they are capable of being punished for the failure of those that failed the mission or died in it. Elders are people who reach the final stages of their mastery over shamanism, and must complete a trial by the keeper to ascend to the rank. The Speaker [Destiny the Speaker Concept art] The Speaker is but one of many in the Religion, there is only one speaker, and one alone. The Speaker is the head of the Religion, and the Prophet chosen by the Father of stars to speak the words in Solaris wishes to give to his people, rather than manifesting his dangerous Solaric light into the mortal realm. By being a speaker, one must care for all branches of the Oriaic Following, handling all levels of information that involves the following and religion, and approving newly founded Scrolls and Litanies. The speaker can be anyone within the temple, however there are certain types of people that the High speaker cannot be Unless for a good reason. The Following are not allowed to be high speaker: Kings Queens Political Officials Soldiers Darkspawn Dark Mages/shamans Druids Paladins The high speaker is a persona that embodies the truth of Solaris, the wisdom and the serenity bestowed by Solaris himself. A high speaker is chosen by a set of trials made by the previous high speaker. Then when the time is but nie, the High speaker passes on his mask to the new High speaker, deeming him worthy to lead the Temple. The Knights of Ritaa Harden and dedicated, The men in clad, pure Mali’Thills, Ame, and Solarii who walked the path of purity and grand crusade come forth and take the rite of Ritaa. A holy sanctimonious warrior whose mind is as sharp as the sword they wield. Their hearts are harder than steel, but their souls are as warm as a maternal or paternal figure. These protectors must not be anywhere near loyal to the crown of any nation or government. They are directed by the Speaker himself and they must protect the speaker and other spiritualists. Their task as well as to assure the purification of dark spawns and dark mages and rouge shamans by any means necessary. Either through purging or force disconnecting them. Any beast or unnatural being is to be killed and heretics forced to repent in front of the light of Solaris. These Spiritual Soldiers hold a specific weapon which was made by the ancestors. Philosophy. In the name of Solaris we bring forth his light We slay that which defiles it We are the ones who dare to reach the dark corners where the light does not We are his toung, which cuts deep with words. Amongst all kinds of weapons that the Ritaa knights are able to wield, the Tukati staff, a weapon unheard of by any weapons smith, however to the ‘Solarii, this weapon is one that is kept a secret amongst their own kind. Ritaarii (Knights of Ritaa) are masters at wielding this and many other weapons, sizing up to 120 cm. The bark can be made even from steel, however many within the temple and the Talonnii see this as a disgraceful act. However this would change during the age of Sol’tarmatha with them having been taught the concoction to make ikurnamon Wood (iron wood). These staff would be crafted delicately and methodically. The carvings and or crystals placed into them would tell a story of the pilgrimage of the wielder. The Tukat’ii (tukati) staff would see action in the tribal wars- Cavalry would wield their families Tukat’ii along side their sabers and long swords since lances were seen as barbaric and too human like. The Ki’ra Guantlet Amongst all the swords and iconic weapons the Ritaa knights have, alongside the Gong and the Tukati staff, the knights hold a clockwork gauntlet that is made carefully by the one titled the ‘steam kissed’. In the days of Sol’tarmatha and Ygrasdivyl the invention was made as an impractical back up weapon in case the knight was disarmed. This weapon, was in no doubt impractical, however the inventor sought a way for the individual to never lose his weapon, in such case, when a night pulls the handle on his gauntlet finger, the gauntlet would bite down on the person's arm and immediately attach itself to the bone and flesh, so that it never flies or loosens itself during battle. Some see this as unethical, but the inventors see this as a minor sacrifice to the cause. Standings Prior to all temple history. It is widely known that Krug and his daughter and their apprentices began to teach the will and messages of the spirits. Upon wandering through Petra, near hohkmat- Ember saw a great gathering in the bulletin board. Thus the shaman approached it- and saw this grand missive. reading it she seemed wide eyed. She needed more time to process each article. For now she assumed the worst humanity had an emperor.

“No” said ember in common as she read this insane missive

“Now that is truthfully a great blessing” Ember said as she rested in her medical bed. Holding a tiny little baby in her arms.

Alexis grumbled “so mush tu read” the young sister seemed unhappy she had to read all of it to find something to criticize

“He had KIDS?!” Ember is in utter shock. And ponder who was the mom.

“I’m am sorry…brother.” Said Ember, from her confined tents in alruria shedding a tear. Torn apart, she cannot choose. None have threatened her, or her family, or her home. Thus the elf remains seated. If she were to protect them, she’d die, if she were to fight them, she’d die as well. In the end, she stayed secluded waiting for the right time to choose or to simply ignore. however in her soul she predicts her hand will be forced once more.

Ember would stare at this missive. ”. . .” she’d stare at it from her estate in the Region of Ka’tau ” . . . “ She seemed to have a very frustrated expression. This only motivated her to write more on the temple of Solaris. The lodge piled up and continued to spread its flames across aevos- causing more issues for her and her priests/ priestesses. “Does this mean I will be barred, from coming back here… great.” She rolled her eyes as her honey moon was ruined however she had much work to do anyways. She had to hurry and finish it.
