  1. "As herectic as others may find them, Atronachs cannot become darkspawn" He says taking ahold of the missive and reading it "Unlike other 'cleansers'"
  2. IRONY? Issued at Year 168 of the Second Age Irony? It was a normal day in Lurin when the Church arrived, not carrying the proper documents to test Lurin citizens and yet they did. Lurin wishes for peace so even though the populace was not happy, the tests occurred, not finding a single Lurinite to be darkspawn. Adjunted a copy of the treaty that the Church signed with Lurin and failed to follow. The High Pontiff arrived later with a few of his soldiers, we accepted them into the city and moved to meet to solve the small differences. What was our surprise when one of the Holy Knights, so called Johannes by the Canonist forces, a man who entered with His Holiness and stood all the time behind him during the meeting, turned into an undead and stabbed the Pontiff. Do not let others fool you, Lurin has NO tolerance with darkspawn and even though we offered to heal the High Pontiff they refused, even insulting us by calling us pagans. The darkspawn that came with them was terminated by the Brotherhood and later on burnt by our atronachs in the square. Irony? ETERNAL WE STAND, LONG LIVE THE LUBBA! Lumia Anarion Silver Lubba Edvard Kervallen Hand of the Lubba and Prime Minister of Lurin. Baron of Aevum
  3. Edvard grabbed the paper when he was handed it, atronach gaze hovering over its contents "So... Let me understand it, Lurin who went through a whole crusade to cleanse the State of darkspawn is not a trusted Nation. But then Sakuragakure, who has a lair of darkspawn nearby, filled with all kinds of evil hidding behind huge walls, is a totally safe place? Either who wrote this is an idiot or they really know shit about what they are speaking..." And so the paper within his hand consumed in flames.
  4. "I don't think i've ever seen you raising the gate Jonny" Replies Edvard from nearby
  5. "Failed as a son, failed as a father" There was no day, since that fatidic day, that the Viscount did not wake up with an emptiness, one within his very soul. There was no day, since that fatidic day, that the Viscount did not go to sleep with sorrow filling his very self. Once a beacon of joy and light, Sir Ephrem had became a mere ghost of his past self, a whole life dedicated to the Kingdom, for what? Only to receive pain and negatives... Once a beacon of courage and fervour, Sir Ephrem had not recovered from the death of his dear daughter. But this time... This time was different... Not only he had lost his son now, he had lost his brother in arms, he had lost a part of himself, someone who could understand the man in ways not even his wife could. This time he could no longer, dizzy steps brought him to the church of the Arcangel, falling before the altar "Why him?" The viscount whispered towards the altar, no force carried by those words, not as much as it carried pain at least "Why him and not me, GOD?" The man's hand travelled to his belt, grabbing his sword that even in those hard times roared with white flames under the touch of the templar. The knight placed it in front of himself, losing sense of time, his weeping continued... "First you take pater from me..." A closed fist rammed against the floor "Then you take Estella way before her time... And now... My son..." His eyes opened even if so slightly, just enough to see the fire of the sword shining bright "How miserable do i have o be?" But... All of a sudden, his emotions changed, his soul filled with courage and valor, his muscles tensed as the fire of the Archangel burned inside the man... "Is this a sign? You wish for me to fight, right?" Almost instinctively his hand moved once more, taking a grasp of the flaming sword "Then i will fight! Long have vile creatures roamed these lands freely, long have they taken lives without facing consequences, but today that will come to an end... Today is the day when this all will change" His fist closed tight, getting red from the strength "I've failed you GOD, and in turn you've failed me... But today that shall change" The Templar rose his voice "Get my banner ready, my shield, my bow and the fastest horse we have, the hunt has started!"
  6. I am not really sure if Fire Evocation really needs a rewrite, even less to become a 2 slotted magic
  7. Edvard Kervallen puts his signature on the paper as he comments with Jon Snowell "Slowly we are remaking them all after they became stagnated"
  8. Sir Ephrem blinks a few times when at home "So first they want me to fire him and now they make him the Procurator? Glad i ended up not firing him then..."
  9. Edvard Kervallen stamps his signature on the document after the Silver Lubba Lumia did "Well, one done, a few more to go" He says with a smile

  13. As Sir Ephrem enters the city of Portoregne sees the missive pinned on the noticeboard. The Templar approaches and with care he takes it from the board, reading it slowly "So that is what they meant by someone with more ambition, someone who tried to duel their own monarchs... Surely the perfect fit for a negated Admiratus and their troop of faithful dogs" A chuckle escapes the Templar as he leaves the city, which was as empty as it was when he entered. OOC:
  14. White doves carry black news: Sir Ephrem Kervallen, the father was on a rutinary stroll around Tuvian lands, the Viscount and his horse like every morning... Man and beast ran fast through the mountainous island, expecting to be another day without much trouble, until something caught the Templar's attention. What was it? Only a small dot at the distance... He commanded his white steed to run faster, approaching the disturbance within his lands "Nen... Nen..." He uttered to himself as he approached, slowly revealing his daughter's body to his own eyes "NEN!" He shouted, jumping from the horse to kneel behind Estella's body "Estella... Estella, wake up" He spoke between tears, but he knew that would not happen. Removing his gauntlets to hold her near his own body, the knight pressed his forehead against that of his daughter "Nen, Estella, my starlight..." Tears poured from his azure hues, falling over the inert body of the Countess "My poor starlight..." He repeated, finally standing up and carrying the body, slow steps, rythmic in their own way to approach Tuvia. "Callista, Callista! Estella has left us..." He shouted once his figure entered the keep, leaving the now corpse on one of the sofas of the newly named Adrian Keep. The Viscount walked up to his office, leaving the duty of preparing the body of his daughter to his own wife. He took paper and a quill and started writting missives to relatives and friends. White doves would soon after fly, carrying notice of the death, of his own daughter, of his Starlight... "Sorella, Enisa... Take care of her, will you?" He spoke towards the sky, the day that white doves carried black news.
  15. A note reaches Tuvia, brought to the Viscount by one of his servants, Sir Ephrem reads it carefully. The Templar places the missive over his desk, fingers tapping rythmically over the elm wood, seeminlgly lost in thought "Another one gone, may GOD have him in HIS glory, May his soul find peace in the seven skies". Ephrem grabs a piece of paper and a quill, wetting the tip in the ink nearby he starts writting down something: Issued by the Viscounty of Tuvia on the 18th of the Lothar's Gift, 89 B.A. In the aftermath of the lamented demise of King Adrian I of Balian, a profound gesture of homage unfolded as the Viscounty of Tuvia's keep underwent a poignant transformation, henceforth bearing the name Adrian Keep. This symbolic renaming serves as a testament to the deep respect and unwavering loyalty that Tuvia, the viscount, and all the Kervallen family harbored for the late monarch. The Viscounty's decision to immortalize the memory of King Adrian I in the very fabric of its land not only signifies a personal tribute from Tuvia but also resonates as a collective expression of grief and reverence from the people of the region. Adrian Keep stands as a solemn memorial, preserving the legacy of King Adrian I within the governance and heritage of the Viscounty, ensuring that the departed monarch's influence endures through the annals of time. In the name of righteousness and valor, HIS EXCELLENCY, Sir Ephrem Kervallen, Viscount of Tuvia, Knight of the Order of Saint Michael & Templar of the Archangel Michael. Magnus Dominus of the Order of the Radiant Star. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somewhere afar, or maybe not that far, Edvard Kervallen awaited simply sitting. He waited and waited long hours since the notice of his apprentice's death reached the Lurinite's baron hands, yet he did not seem sad for the late king; he who saw him as a baby, as a kid, as a teenager with hunger of learning and finally as a monarch. Edvard did not feel the grief others were feeling and thus awaited by the iron doors that were in front of him, buried beneath the mountain's rock. The mage killed some waiting hours by practicing, brewing and tinkering until... A few weak knocks were heard from behind that damned iron door, and so he smiled and moved, opening it to a new life...

  17. To Tar-Númenatar of Númendil; Whether the star has six or four points matters not, for the idea of Courage and Templarism remains the same. I appreciate your letter but it's always been six points where i've been and where i've learned. HIS EXCELLENCY, Sir Ephrem Kervallen, Viscount of Tuvia, Knight of the Order of Saint Michael & Templar of the Archangel Michael. Magnus Dominus of the Order of the Radiant Star. OOC:
  18. To the denizens of Aevos, In the sacred halls of Tuvia, where the spirit of righteousness and valor intertwines, a new chapter in the history of our great kingdom is about to unfold. Sir Ephrem Kervallen, the steadfast Templar and Viscount of Tuvia along with Ser Philip ‘The Righteous’, have embarked on a noble quest to establish a venerable order dedicated to the divine cause within the borders of our beloved realm. The Order of the Radiant Star, a sacred brotherhood of Templars sworn to uphold the virtues bestowed upon them by the Archangel Michael himself. As guardians of the light, these holy warriors have been tasked with a divine mission – to purge our lands of the encroaching darkness, to stand as beacons of hope in the face of adversity, and to safeguard the sanctity of our lands. The monastery, nestled in the heart of Balian, shall serve as the hallowed abode of the Radiant Star. Here, the holy knights, imbued with the divine blessings of the Archangel, shall dedicate their lives to the pursuit of enlightenment, martial prowess, and unwavering loyalty to the Kingdom of Balian. The tenants of the Order of the Radiant Star are rooted in the principles of justice, piety, and courage. Templars who join this sacred brotherhood shall undergo rigorous training in both the martial and spiritual arts, seeking to embody the radiant virtues that the order holds dear. Sir Ephrem and Ser Philip, extend an open invitation to all noble souls within the canonist lands who feel the calling to join the ranks of the Radiant Star. Aspiring Templars, fervent in their dedication to the divine cause, are welcomed to the monastery to undergo trials that shall test their mettle and commitment. THE TRIALS: The trials set forth by the Order of the Radiant Star are designed to test the aspirants' commitment, valor, and alignment with the divine virtues bestowed by the Archangel Michael. Each trial represents a facet of the order's sacred principles. As the six-pointed star symbolizes the Archangel Michael, aspirants must prove their commitment by challenging six different trials: Trial of Illumination: Aspirants must prove their understanding of divine illumination. In this trial, they are placed in a darkened chamber with only a single candle to light their way. Armed with nothing but the flame of the candle, they must navigate through a labyrinth, symbolizing their journey to dispel darkness and embrace the radiant light of the Archangel. Trial of Purity: The Templars of the Radiant Star must embody purity in both spirit and action. Aspirants are tasked with fasting and abstaining from worldly comforts for a set period. During this time, they are required to reflect upon their innermost thoughts, cleanse their souls, and emerge from the trial with a purified spirit, ready to face the challenges ahead. Trial of Valor: Valor is the cornerstone of a Radiant Star Templar. In this trial, aspirants are required to bring proof of the slain of a dark foe, proving their martial prowess and courage. The battlefield becomes a crucible where the fire of their determination and commitment is tested, forging them into formidable warriors. Trial of Sacrifice: To join the sacred brotherhood, one must demonstrate a willingness to sacrifice personal desires for the greater good. Aspirants are given a choice: to part with a cherished possession or make a personal sacrifice that symbolizes their commitment to the divine cause. This trial reaffirms their dedication to the principles of selflessness and service. Trial of Knowledge: The pursuit of enlightenment is paramount for a Templar of the Radiant Star. Aspirants face a series of tests that challenge their intellectual acumen, wisdom, and understanding of the order's teachings. This trial ensures that only those with a deep connection to the divine knowledge of the Archangel are deemed worthy to bear the mantle of the Radiant Star. Trial of Unity: The six-pointed star represents harmony and unity. In this trial, aspirants are paired with fellow candidates to overcome challenges that require cooperation, trust, and synergy. Through this trial, the Radiant Star seeks to forge a brotherhood that stands united in purpose and unwavering in its commitment to the divine mission. Only those who successfully navigate through these six trials, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the principles of the Radiant Star, shall be deemed worthy to join the hallowed ranks of the order. May the white flame of the Archangel Michael guide us in this noble endeavor, and may the Order of the Radiant Star stand as an eternal bastion against the shadows that seek to engulf our lands. In the name of righteousness and valor, HIS EXCELLENCY, Sir Ephrem Kervallen, Viscount of Tuvia, Knight of the Order of Saint Michael & Templar of the Archangel Michael. Magnus Dominus of the Order of the Radiant Star. Ser Philip ‘The Righteous’, Templar of the Archangel Michael. Magnus Dominus of the Order of the Radiant Star.
  19. Sir Ephrem Kervallen, Viscount of Tuvia and Templar of the Archangel continued with his trainings within his keep. *Slash, protect, cut and defeat* Soon he sunk his flaming sword with a Vigorous Blow in a wooden target that was holding a Veletzian shield, making it crumble into pieces.
  20. The birth of two Stags The Viscount Sir Ephrem Kervallen and the Viscountess Consort Callista Lucia Rose Kervallen proudly announce the birth of two of their own blood; they were delievered this same day safely by the Viscountess within Tuvian lands. Lord Ezequiel Miguel Rafael of Tuvia and Lady Elvira Ana Lídia of Tuvia. 21. And yet Edvard 'The Pitiful' sits on his sage throne, looking at Sulieronn from avobe in his way much more extense wisedom. "I don't blame you Sulieronn, a poor guy whose dreams of becoming a mage were overshadowed by not only the man who beat you in a duel while he allowed you to cast but also by a man whose path into the arcane started much later than yours. You are but a poor man whose only achievement in life is imbueing one's eyes with mana to make them look different while turning them crazy. I might be pitiful but the title that better fits you is Sulieronn 'The Failure' Ashwood." His lips curl up into a smile as The Sage, holds his staff tighter, not in anger but in joy. "That being said, i leave you to your job in Hohkmat running the academy, i am sure your students find you as lacking in that matter as i do. Me and my Hohkmat students send our best regards"
  22. Edvard Kervallen received notice of the missive while sitting in his home. The man, with a cup of tea read the missive, sipping once before he commented "Well those are some big shoes to fill, i'll see what i can do"
  23. Sir Ephrem Kervallen of Tuvia, father of the future Prince Consort was given the missive by one of his squires. The Procurator read it and gained a smile "Who would have thought this when my pater first settled in Balian and we were nenthing more than a simple family of four"
  24. ON THE SCRISA ANARION SITUATION A missive on the Year 151 of the Second Age There has been a recent stream of missives sent between The Silver Lubba and the lands of Sakuragakure. After events that have unfolded in the past few days, I have taken it upon myself to write a missive detailing House Kervallen’s standings regarding the situation revolving around Scrisa Anarion. OUR PERSPECTIVE: I speak on behalf of House Kervallen based in Lurin. We fully side with the words of the Silver Lubba on his perspective on the resolution of the ordeal. We concur with his sentiments expressed through his response- Violence should always be the last resort, and it is regrettable that these conflicts have escalated to such a degree. We too share the concern over the loss of innocent lives and the disruption of peaceful daily routines due to these actions- and thus we stand ready to support the Silver Lubba in their efforts to resolve this matter through whatever means Lurin sees fit. Whatever solution the Silver Lubba comes up with, we shall stand by his side and aid in the resolution of such a conflict, assisting Lurin and its citizens wholeheartedly. ON THIS MISSIVE: In recent years, there have been individuals who have attempted to defame the pristine family name of Kervallen- an action that is intolerable to us. Some have claimed we played a hand in the death of Scrisa. Others claim we deceived House Anarion for profit. These defaming individuals will simply see that they will fail in their deceit: no matter the public perception of Kervallen, no matter how just or cruel we are portrayed as- Kervallen remains balanced. The public will see through their defaming lies. They will realize- Kervallen stands united as a supporter of the Silver Lubba and Lurin, even in the harshest of raids upon the Lurinites- and we align with the perspective of the Silver Lubba. ETERNAL WE STAND, ESHTAEL KEEPS BALANCE signed, Edvard Kervallen Patriarch of Lurin's Kervallen and Baron of Lalwën
