@Literally any Dev/Admin Can someone restart the server? It didn’t last night, and that axed my plan of horse-breeding. Would have had the perfect amount for an event tomorrow but now I can’t breed :C
Also noone else can breed my horses either, gonna make a dev thing about that one. -
A question for the players that have been here for long: During the time that there was physical currency, why didn’t it work? Was it because of duping glitches?

Different perspective for me, it was often clunky and took up inventory room. Just moving from place to place was frustrating with money as half of your inventory would be full. Farming minas was frustrating for most as basically after you had only a little bit you’d have to return to a bank. This combined with the fact that since no one carried any minas on them by default basically meant no one actually traded with minas.

the best way to handle the growing server unhappiness regarding lower quality rp, distrust in staff, and problems with rules is clearly to meme it up. get to it gamers haha! xd

You're right, how the community feels is very important and I'm being genuine when I say this is a real concern of ours; but I don't like it being masked behind a doomsday prophecy of "the server is dying!", the better title is; "Hey, admins, we really don't feel like the server is doing well". And that's a real concern, and one I want to address by being present more in the community with the talks of what we're doing. It won't make everyone happy, I know that, but I hope it is at least a first step that we can take to mend that gap and start understanding what we can do better.

I do understand that... how does that combat the argument that the server isn't dying though? It's perfectly normal for people to leave at this time, but the numbers are fine. I'd run it against last years since we still have the data but last year is skewed due to the blacklist. But ya, how does that prove me wrong ?

It's almost like we do (Yes, those are 3 separate dev servers :) ) but we cant emulate the effects of doing something with 200+ players online in a local environment of 1-4 people or that all the "public testing" we do yields little interest and ultimately doesnt help us (like the war server, which had 3-4 testing periods where less than 1/4th of the playerbase showed up until it was intended to be used by everyone and then failed because not enough people tested it)

We better not be switching to 1.12.2.
I can see upgrading every few versions, unless it's a major one like baby parrots or double saddles or what not.
1.12.1 was just adding staff credits and removing the phrase "Better than Prey!" from the title screen.

Mojang puts out these version changes not to add features - their next feature patch will be 1.13 - but they put them out when major vulnerabilities or glitches are reported to them so much so that they have to put out a non-backwards compatible version, which they do not like doing. The 1.12.1 update fixed a glitch where you could duplicate any item in the game VIA vanilla MC, anything from diamond blocks to diamond armor to dragonscale. We update because we don't want to expose our community to these issues, while Forge mods are used by a large portion of the community they are secondary in this capacity.

So today I learned we have a build server- Is this something the community can use, or is it only reserved for our 5 event team builders?

The server is our server utilized for official map development, it is currently being used for active 6.0 development, but I can see you are rather angry by this. It is not public for... obvious reasons. Although I am fairly certain you've helped out with previous map builds and have personally been on it, so your anger is confusing.

We're still working on it, We can't really change how it looks all too much - the IPS update altered how rep works fundamentally so the new system will receive tweaks but we can't really help that it's not what you're use to @Jakesimonson
