Character’s name: Gur'Lur Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Goblin Character’s age: 23 (estimated, unsure) Biography: There really isn't much to Gur, he was born in Vailor to two goblin parents who threw him out in his third year because we has a weak runt, even by goblin standards. Gur survived his early years by suckling the juice from the fruits of various cacti and eating insects. In his twelfth year, much larger then he was when he was thrown out, he had his first encounter with an animal closer to his size; a desert wolf. After a long struggle, which nearly ended with the loss of his life, Gur managed to sink his teeth into the wolves throat, killing it. He then wore his first clothing ever, wrapping himself in the crudely skinned wolf to keep him warm in the desert night. He began hunting the wolves, finding use for their teeth and skin, using sticks collected from dead trees and stones, he created simple traps to catch lone wolves and slay them using crude weapons made from bone and wood. In time Gur was eventually discovered by an orcish hunting party, who impressed with the goblin who had managed to survive by himself in the desert and took the goblin (who had no language skills, betraying the fact he was a child that had been cast out) back to the Uzg. It was also the these orcs which gave Gur his name (as Gurrrgh was the first sound Gur made when he encountered a creature that resembled him). In the Uzg he was taught to speak the blah and spent time with the other goblins, learning quickly from them. Gur proved to be exceptionally cruel, a trait further exemplified when he discovered he was a castaway. Gur took part in various slave raids, often building traps ahead of time to ensnare unsuspecting pinkies, which he would then flog for his own sadistic pleasure, or test his new traps on. When Phaedrus'Yar became Rex he disallowed slavery, a fact which irritated Gur to no extent, and now, the current Rex forces others to give up slavery, a fact which Gur considers intolerable as he can not even leave the nation to escape the abolition. Personality Traits: Survival of the fittest mentality, complete disregard for Orcish tradition, extreme cruelty and disregard for life. Ambitions: To one day slay the Rex in single combat and become the Rex himself, and declare slavery a right for all orc-kind, for all time. Strengths/Talents: Vicious cunning, a willingness to cooperate with non-greenskins to further his own ends and lastly, Gur's small tusks mean that he is able to speak common quite easily, as well as the Blah. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Gur is something of an outcast in the Uzg at the current time due to his non-conformist views on slavery, he also sees pain as a good thing - both his and others. Appearance: Gur is 5'4, green, with very small tusks, and a thin wirey frame from countless hours in the workshop. Character’s name: Boleslaw 'the Ruse' Wichnioweski Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 34 Biography: Boleslaw was born thirty-four years ago in (what was then) Akovia, to two simple parents; his mother Danuta, a spinstress and his father was Kazimir, who was a strelt militia-man and a potato farmer. Boleslaw didn't have a hard time growing up, his village had a kind lord and like most Raevir peasantry he ate well, was strong like yak and had a lot of fun with the other children in the village. Unfortunately, in one of the almost continuous wars between the humans and dwarves, Boleslaw lost his father, like so many others, in a skirmish and had to grow up very quickly and take his fathers' place on the farm. Life continued on more or less easily, save for one time when Boleslaw was hit with a draft slip and had to march out of his village for the first time under his Lord's banner to fight a war far away and foreign. Worse yet came later on when the unstable, post-Horenian human kingdoms underwent yet another of the countless regime changes and all of a sudden, whenever Boleslaw went into town he was mistreated and abused by the Heartlanders, for the way he looked and for the way he spoke. More heartbreaking yet was the way he saw his country-men treated by the Savoyard regime, who had no respect for Raevir culture and tradition; and it only got worse. Soon the Kingdom devolved into all out civil war between the Ducal Coalition and the Crown and now Boleslaw must fight for his life, or become yet another countless Raevir body amongst the scores created by the Loyalist forces. (Just noting this character is not being made for the battle tomorrow/today and will not be participating in it).
