The monthly fee and odd combat did it for me. I was hoping for a Skyrim sort of feel but I knew that'd be hard to pull off. Also I remember when I first got Skyrim begging for a 4 player world mode... maybe ~just maybe~ the next Elder Scrolls RPG (non mmo) will have that. Sort of like Destiny.

It also seemed a little too PvP oriented for my taste. If I wanted to do a 3-way slugfest, I'd go play PS2 (Which I do, alot.)

If the battles are connected or the opponent is the same then I'd say no solely on the grounds of RP. I'd ask a GM though for an official decision though.

You can use the Monk Tree Farms, just PM Escharian.

It may be busted out from brute force, but I believe if the lock is jammed by someone it cannot be successfully lockpicked.

Good. If that's the case I'd love to throw out my other hypothetical. Say someone initiates PvP with me. I run and lock myself behind a door. He calls a gm to lockpick it, force it open, whatev with RP. If he can break down the door with 'RP' and not MC mechanics, can I use my magic to destroy him with 'Rp'. I've thrown this question out to moderators, villains, etc. multiple times with conflicting answers each time.

The annoying truth is no. Its somewhat pick and choosy as to what requires rp and what requires minecraft mechanics.

It's a good game, although it's even better with Darthmod. You won't be disappointed, more so if you're interested in the time period.

As for which one I'd recommend? It depends on the time period you want. There really is no bad Total War Game, though every TW has a mod made to "Improve" the game called Darthmod. So unless you get Rome II which doesn't have that mod, get Darthmod. It improves the game ten fold.

td;lr Pick one that takes place in a time period you find intresting, screw anyone elses opinion. If you want Rome but are afraid of all the hate for Rome II (I still think rome 2 is a good game) try Rome 1, it's cheap as dirt last I checked.
