@xxx @Telanir I can agree some people I play with tend to do stupid things and should calm down, but the thing is there needs to be shorter bans the only reason why certain players alt and act out is because how ridiculously long bans are and how gray certain bans can be which end up in players getting their bans extended which is just ridiculous in a lot of cases. For example two friends of mine where banned for “community guidelines” until Feb 9^th, they were banned around last Friday which makes it a multiple week ban. Not really sure why the hell that would be a ban from the live server it would make so much more sense to just forum ban them for a week or two if they make posts that break the “community guidelines”. Banning a player for months on months is just crazy unless they really did something bad: like pugsy, dox people, or harassing someone constantly in a threatening way. Another thing is OOC, I feel like it shouldn’t be the job of the gm’s to go into discords and ban players for things they said away from the server, but they should use evidence involving individuals from the server taken from external areas. In the end all I am trying to say is people need to learn the difference between a joke and something that is not, if you get that easily offended over something get away from it and also you shouldn’t hold a title that entails leadership and guidance over others personal feelings should not affect the way you do your job, be a adult not a child. The state of certain player groups isn’t going to get better until they start getting understood better, maybe ask all the groups what they would like changed and then the groups of “toxic players” might start acting a little better.
