    Writing an alternate ending for the book Nineteen Eighty-Four. Remarkably enough, my experiences on LotC have made this incredibly easy. Certainly entertaining when the rest of the class is crying themselves to sleep every night trying to figure out what to write.

    As long as people properly age their characters and don't stay the same age for as long as they want, I'm fine with this 14 day = 1 year time. I'm a bit curious though, will there be a calender created to help people who started their characters in Aegis know how much older their character would be?

Walking away slowly, he talks to himself under his breath.. "The Gauntlet, hrm....I'll be curious to see if the skill required to go through it is in any way comparable to the skill required to go through the original....." He thinks for a moment, before leaving the bounds of the city-state. "I wonder if they will bring back the lava.."

    Ain't nobody got time fo' dat! In all seriousness though, this is to help promote blacksmith roleplay, so that people who's characters have never done any blacksmithing in their lives can't just toss iron onto a crafting table with no rp and make a perfect suit of armor.

      Making a forever living human would be powergaming and breaks roleplay. Its hard to get everything right though. I would support having an auto-aging part. Elf- 20 years old Human- 20 years old; *many, many, many years later* Elf- 1749 years old Human- 20 years old. I say no to that happening.

      If it eventually leads to a character to be obliged die permanently, then no. People can choose how they age their characters if they want. When elves properly RP their infertility, and not as a race of females who marry and live with humans, maybe then I'd support it.

    During the next war, I don't suppose we could have some GM's not involved in the battle to do modreqs outside? It's hard to take advantage of the empty cities during a war when no GM's are available to help you close a gate or steal a speedo (though the speedo was already stolen).
