I like the new perk that lets me add more than five people to a conversation...now I wish those people would actually reply to the conversation...

So, I watched the Hobbit, and....I loved it! I'm normally very picky about movies, but they handled it very well, and the extra content added (like the wonderful new introduction with Frodo and Old Bilbo) completely works! I haven't been this satisfied with a movie in ages...

Those two seconds before I lagged out and had my slot taken were the best two seconds of my life! I kid, I kid. If what my friends said was true, it seems like it was a pretty fun event..if you were on the right boat. -
My friend played on LotC for about an hour as a wandering soul and exclaimed that the gameplay wasn't as "dynamic" as he had hoped. I disagree. LotC is very dynamic, because you know what makes gameplay more dynamic? Random server crashes!

Crap, just found out that my newest accepted VA didn't fall within the Purge time line, and not only that, it no longer exists. What a pain in the ass...by the way, in case the VAT is curious *cough*urasept*cough*, I'm active on the forums again...*points at the VAT Volunteer thread.*

I am not particularly fond of the new Villain Application lenience and progress. In my opinion, too many lackluster villains are being accepted, which is only going to result in an influx of the old roadside "minas or die" bandits from Aegis, which I'm sure we all loved... It used to be something you could be proud of, getting a Villain Application accepted, and working all night and most of the next day to make it perfect was absolutely worth the effort. Now, it's almost as if the VAT is giving away this privilege like candy. It requires a certain amount of maturity to roleplay a good villain or corrupt character, and not all of the people being accepted have that, especially the ones getting accepted for these new "minor evils." Onto the Minor Evils...honestly, I think it's a ridiculous idea. So many people are applying for them, and given that they're practically an instant-accept, too many people that don't deserve them are getting them. From what I can gather in Skype conversations, and chats with Ar Mal at school, these minor villains are abusing the privilege heavily, and many unsavory encounters have happened with these minors. The way I see it, people getting accepted for "Minor Evils" are essentially...minors, trying out their first beer, and then faceplanting ten minutes later because the alcohol was too much for them. The people getting real villain applications accepted are legal drinking age, and hopefully they can handle their booze wisely, else become drunkards on the streets. Sadly, as we see in real life, minors abuse alcohol at an early age, and always become alcoholics when they get legal.

Gah, home sick, pnumonia..that's how you spell it, right? Anywho, because my parents are at work, I snuck into their bedroom to quickly make this status and check a webcomic or two. Could somebody message me about the state of my various OOC and IC associations?

*cackles loudly* Otherwise, I completely agree with this. I have never even been involved in a warclaim, but the arguments and fights that I have seen caused by them are enough to make me vote to change to this new system, because honestly, some of the worst drama on this server has been caused by poorly executed wars, which happen far too often than anybody should be comfortable with, ie. the dwarf vs. teuton war, for an extreme example. [EDIT] Does anybody remember the attack against..gosh, what was it..Wraths Clutch in Aegis? At least, it was a fortress owned by Wrath. A battle to attack that place was suddenly planned one day, and the White Ravens got called in within..probably about three hours, where they built a quick FOB, and the battle started, with the Malinor Wardens working in the background to set up walls. Suddenly, a druid came in, and he grew a ton of massive trees to help scale the castles walls, which we quickly took. In the end, it was extremely fun, and the whole battle lasted about two to three hours, even though it was only planned a few hours before. I want to see more battles like that, than these ridiculous warclaims. If we had had warclaims in Aegis, I have no doubt that more than just the Malinor Wardens would have been there, and the entire thing would have just dragged on and been meta'd, to the point where I just would have avoided it completely. The fortress was made into ruins soon after the battle, with vines and broken walls, which I used regularly to set up secret meetings, because it was a nostalgic location for my character. I mean, he practically helped spearhead the assault (most of the wardens were offline come battle ._. ).

That feeling when two people completely flood a forum roleplay with one-liners, making people get overwhelmed by 14 pages.
