It just ticks me off in some way that is bound in no logic. :P Closest thing I can get is it's already being used to describe mana in general, tieing it specificly to one magic (voidal or otherwise) feels a bit wrong on a OOC level. I do also think I am the only person on the server this rubs off in the wrong way.
  3. I get the using of Tayna to describe the mana, but as an elf player practicing voidal magic I feel an instinctive calling to oppose it. This might be entirely illogical. Seems off that lesser souls CAs (Musin, Hou'zi) can learn this magic. Wyldburst seems incredible powerful, I feel it would be more inline if it was 3 emotes: recurve/longbow 4 emotes: Crank Crossbow 5 emotes arbelest, meaning if connected you do still outperform the mundane counterpart, untill the 5'th spell as then you would have no more 'ammo'. Boomvoice, makes sense to add Atronachs to the immune list I guess? Trickery I feel as if it shouldn't affect voidal conjurations, as to disrupt a dependent summon is practicly the same as disrupting an evocationist's spells, as they are not given commands, they are being directly manipulated. Can't comment on other dependent/independent creature sources with my lack of knowledge on how they are controlled/bound. Didn't read the rituals, all in all the magic seems very neat.

"Karin'ayla Avernir." Seth said with a small nod. "What is your name, reason for visit, race and alligience? Also, I would request for you to dismount doing the gate process." The elf said courtly as the armoured man joined Seth's side by the hole from which he could look down upon whoever attempted to spread missives inside of the gated community.

  9. I am just getting the unwritten rule written, I too also think it's dumb but it's even dumber that Voidstalkers are power gaming by not reading ST chat history from a year ago.
  10. Meant to go to Core Alchemy III Originally: [spoiler] Alchemy Potions being primed would stay primed for two emotes, until once more becoming inert. Once inert, a potion must be primed again to be activated. Drawing/Throwing a potion does not count as priming a potion. Potions would go inert and unable to be primed when their holder connected to a magic, or used an enchantment. Potions remain inert until two emotes after the user disconnects from a magic or stops using an enchantment. [Added]Atronachs and mages with the Voidstalking feat always count as being connected to a magic or using an enchantment, thus are unable to prime potions. PURPOSE: Currently the only way of knowing that an Atronach or a Voidstalker is unable to prime a potion is through word of mouth or finding a message in the Story Discord from literally a year ago.
  11. Seems a bit wierd, 'they have orc strength but not orc strength!' Why not be comparable to tiger kha? Between orc and human strength.
  12. Maybe reduce the emote count on short bows, but longbows/recurve bows? Crazy!
  13. I approve. Even if it was only the smallest one for a stack of leather. Which wouldn't be friendly for newer players. So make it not too expensive.

Standard in the tavern of Haelun'or, the ancient elf shook his head lightly as he read the missive out loud to his trusty companion Abbu the mute bodyguard, upon finishing it he took only a few moments to declear. "The writer is an elf but not a Haelun'orian. Or mayhaps a darkspawn, attempting to goad Starland. None the less, I think this missive may do more damage than good." He commented out to Abbu and any other Haelun'orian which might be listening on the Maheral's take on the missive.

Arcanium, Gift of The Void Originally: New: Redline: -If Inert Arcanium is being manipulated by a spell, that would affect how the Inert Arcanium manifests. -If Inert Arcanium is being handled by an Atronach it would use the evocation related to the Atronach, otherwise it would default to transfiguration. PURPOSE: Giving more ways for the Inert Arcanium to be activated for cool and fun story telling, the arcanium heirloom being held by an atronach, revealing it’s true nature or a dropped weapon from one mage and then turning upon being grasped by a conjured monkey, spouting into living sword. It’s neat and entirely cosmetic as such there is no fear of Arcanium being made stronger by this minor change.

Election of the Sohaer 13th of The Grand Harvest, Year 169 of the second age. 1965 by first age calculations [!] At the entrance of the Eternal Library, past 2 stoic looking constructs resembling Sillumiran, one is huge and towering looking akin to a statue with it’s stone exterior yet armed with a sheathed longsword staring with it’s purple glow, the other is an armor with blue mana visible flowing underneath the plates and mail, armed with a fine looking polehammer. Upon a simple wooden chair with a soft pillow, sits the Maheral with his panther Rameethar by his feet. To his right one can find ballot boxes, while to his left, on a table of the finest Haelun’orian wood, voting ballots, ink pots and quills in abundance in addition to yet another table behind a simple screen. “MALI’THILL, following the most recent progress of our society, historical duties calls us to the ballots once more. Now it is time to make your silver will heard, and aid in the direction of the Silver Realm, for you are all called to officially vote in the SOHAER election. The SOHAER serves as the administrative head of defence in conflicts both foreign and domestic, as Commander of the Sillumiran; heads the recruitment and training of the military assets of Haelun’or. It manages the structure of the Sillumiran and the gatekeeping of Blessed Haelun’or, heads the distribution and maintenance of military equipment and detains any member of the citizenry indefinitely, in the interest of public welfare.   19. The Debate 169 SA 1965 in First Age calculations To the citizenry of Haelun’or The position of elSohaer has been challenged by a fellow citizen. The debate for the next Sohaer will be held on this The First Seed [today 4pm est] to find the next bearer of the mantle of the teacher, to lead our people to a brighter future among Theveus Sythaerin and Eistalyn Othelu’maehr. After the debate, an entire elven day will be devoted to voting. Each citizen would be given TWO [2] votes. These votes can be split, abstained, they can be on the same candidate and once the voting has been done, elMaheral and elSuli’ceru will together count the votes.   20. I don't know, while old Water Blast T1 is equal to new T3, it gains the T2, T4 and T5 variant, each of them bringing something to the table. Ice Projectile is kinda Water Projectile with the ice modifer, which again kinda equal in it's T3 variant but upscaling makes it able to deal with things water currently can't. Yeah Ice Wall gets nerfed durability but is by default 1 tier lower now, while water shield can now stop crossbow bolts. Hydrospout as a fun artilery spell. Water whip is actually useful now and doesn't break on hitting an object and has a duration!!! Water Wave is now more expensive, but gets slightly more range and applies that water slow. Water wave attack variant is new and again something which Water Evo lacks. As for the ice weapons, idk seems bad to me- The Frost Thrower spell seems like a worse Flame Thrower, which I don't mind. Funnily enough I think the T3 variant is stronger than the T4/5 variant of the spell. #Casting Time
