.~-The Order of the Golden Owl-~. Elibar’acal, elkhel ito narne il’cruan ay’thilln kaean taliiyh adri’leh, ullral, ata— narne’ne ito kaean evarn’lar. The Golden Owl, darkness is upon us, With pain and for silver, we bleed, Apparitions, beasts and the wretched walk amongst us, We are the shield. It is so the Wretched are harried from this earth, its loamy soil above their shadowy steps. It is so the Exalted and the Blessed shall inherit all that has been and all that shall be, for they are worthy of it. It is the Golden Owl, with its Righteous Purpose which shall see this done within our fair Realm. Xundr, Xion, the Ice Maidens. They tremble before our Aurum blades. A torch cast upon their shadows and forcing them into the Light. The day shall soon be upon us that we shall be rid of them and their vile ways. By the Sacred word of Larihei, our kind shall no longer be home to these beasts. And yet it is for years they have run amok amongst our Blessed Kindred. It is only you, Elves and Men of Vailor, who may stem this Accursed Tide and bring back the Light of the days of the Four Brothers. It is to you we call. Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. — The Order of the Golden Owl ((MC Name:)) ((Skype Name [Optional]:)) Name: Age: Race: Affiliations: Reason to join the Golden Owl: ((Responses about talking to yourself will be deleted. The Pedantic Election — The Book, Law, Friend, Land and Elf
Supremacy replied to Supremacy's topic in Vailor Roleplay Archive
Taeleh retains Tilruir'mali Rivenza becomes Tilruir'indor Kelthran retains Tilruir'lliran Irhamir returns as Tiruir'nor -
And so it returns A formal speech of defence of Tilruir'mali Taeleh would return to Fi'ceru once more, gazing down upon the town built by his Elibar'acal brethren. He scowls as some Sillumir are seen passing the street below, and he begins to descend, making his way to the inn to speak. As he steps on stage he draws a golden blade. "It is those who do the cursed act who so preserve our state from threats which come from without. But it is the mali'aheral of Haelun'or who protect the state from threats of within. It is our blessed Republic which preserves itself. And yet in years past our judgement has failed us. Laethis led our kind to elect not just any council, but one which consisted of two impure frost-witch consorts, a frost witch itself and a shade who had been constructing dark mage training barracks in the labs, with exits into both the city and outside." Taeleh pauses and twitches. "It is now upon this day that yet another elf returns from the era of Laethis. One by the name of Elwyn, former husband to a shade herself. Former ally of Laethis herself. Though I claim not to know if she secretly believes that Laethis was a pure high elf, despite the myriad of evidence against him— I know not. However, what I know is plain. The Tilruir'tir so sought to use her position and her guise of "enforcing the law" to perpetuate her own political act." "For centuries the office of Okarir'tir was divorced from politics, and yet we see it employed in a savage power grab. Mail'aheral of Haelun'or— let this be plain to you. This elf by the name of Abigail is, undoubtably, a planned element of the plan of Izalith. It is she who returns and in two days challenges the government. It is she who acts without knowledge. It is she who very perhaps holds views which wish to drag us back to the dark ages of Laethis". Taeleh would stride from the stage, uttering clearly as he does. "For years I have served Fi'ceru, building it from the ground up based upon schematics designed by the Tilruir'leyun. It is even to this day I so expand our city for our blessed kind. It is this office I serve dutifully and with patience, just as I serve the mali'aheral— even if some engage in destructive habits".
-
And so the election of the most extreme pedantic nature continues— at the behest of our most loyal Tilruir'tir. The nominations are as follows: (( MC name: )) Name: Tilruir'lliran ( ) Lentos ( ) Kelthran ( ) Abstain Tilruir'mali ( ) Taeleh ( ) Abigail ( ) Abstain Tilruir'nor ( ) Irhamir ( ) Abstain Tilruir'indor ( ) Rivena ( ) Riondil You may vote twice. A single tick will count as ONE vote. A double tick is TWO votes. A single tick on ONE candidate and the ABSENCE of a second tick is ONLY ONE vote. An addendum is made: You can not fish your vote out of a votebox. It will cause immediate disqualification. If you are under 50, you may not vote. If you are an impure, you may not vote. If you are on the path of purity (Kiveck and Dalia) you may not vote. You are still impure. If you are not a high elf, you may not vote. Only citizens can vote. The Maheral arbits which votes qualify.
-
And so it is the will of the Tilriur'tir that an election be held to verify that which the council did so believe to be obvious. In order to indulge this pedantic show, no doubt influenced by perhaps unresolved confusions about the true identity of Laethis as an impure, it is thus the Tilruir'mali of Haelun'or so opens elections on the positions so challenged for their "legitimacy". Tilruir'mali Tilruir'indor Tilruir'nor Tilruir'lliran Beyond this, mali'aheral are also notified they may challenge any other council position in Haelun'or— if they intend to do such in the near future, now is the time. Given that the citizenry perhaps might be tired of the twice-weekly elections which now continue as a result of these semantics. There remains 9 elven hours to nominate yourself if you seek to challenge any of these listed positions, or other positions.
-
"And so the Laethizian elf rears her head. I fear not your words, for within the law I was so appointed— to lead our people after the idol you now serve defiled our purity with his frost witch scum. And so I had trusted you with my vote. Let it be the beginning of your undoing."

.~-The Order of the Golden Owl-~. To whom it so may concern, It is upon this day that the Order of the Golden Owl, so reports to the realm the decrepit halls of Xion. Xionists are, or perhaps were, necromancers who so made their insidious home— perhaps tellingly, or perhaps not so— on the isles south west of the Dwarven Grand Kingdom, currently engaged in a war with the Empire of Oren. The halls of the vile necromantic filth lie dormant, the torches extinguished and halls untampered with. It is thus the Owl so informs the Realm that the Xionists are upon the move, or have disbanded. None the less, from the walls of their corridors the names of multiple necromancers have so been procured. Each shall be found, in turn, as is necessary. The forces of shadow have shifted. Beware. Kaean evarn'lar, Elibar'acal.

The Smile of Larihei Heals the Mind Like Milk Heals the Body

Edit: You can "resummon" an orb by gold-Fi-stabbing any spectral creature. Sacrifices are so hard to come by, if you took an orb it would be weeks. This makes it a bit easier by ET event or something. So if you leave the soul, which is in the orb, outside of an essence library and it dissapates. You lose your Fi and are basically "as if without magic" (sans you don't lose your weakness [so people don't regrow strength, basically]— but all other side effects are lost). -
.~-The Order of the Golden Owl-~. It is the cursed Frost Witches which have fled Haelun'or— and yet they and their brood attempt to burst forth from the shadows. Just this elven day one did flee from us when we discovered her, yet her vile shifting magic did prevent her capture. Be alert elves of Haelun'or and those of the realm as a whole— that which dabbles in darkness has no home amongst you. A torch to the darkness must be held. It is thus you must be aware and vigilant. Unknown women are to be questioned. Hooded visitors must be unmasked and all such dark creatures must be purged. We shall not return to the days of Laethis. maehr'sae hiylun'ehya

A body has been found in Haelun'or, mali'aheral. It was left a note next to it, stating that the elf by the name "Saint" had brought it from the inn as he had found it— and yet he did not report the body. If any elves have knowledge of a death of Ariselle in the last 2 elven weeks— speak to the council. Kaean'leh evareh, The Tilruir'mali

It is so that on this day the council of Haelun'or, renewed from the dark times of Laethis and his dark mage compatriots, so finds itself in the process of restoring our Blessed State. However, it is this dark mage and his vile compatriots who drained much from our state, and with his departure our kind find ourselves perhaps "inexplicably" poor. It is so, in order to defend our Blessed Home and construct further the state so seeks to procure resources with which it might develop. Iron Weapons Armour Oak Wood White and Blue Glass Panes It is without such resources that the state may find itself unable to function. For the protection of Haelun'or— the citizens are so called. Make donations directly to the council or to the storage chests in Fi'ceru.

From the soon to be defunct Citadel of Haelun'or, a mounted elven messenger rides— crossing plains and rivers before completing the arduous journey to the illustrious city of Felsen, Capital of the Empire of Man. The letter he so carried would, by one means or another, make its way to the Emperor of Oren, and read thusly as follows: His Imperial Majesty John I Frederick of the House of Horen, by the Grace of GOD, Holy Orenian Emperor and rightful Emperor of Aeldin, forever August, Apostolic King in Oren, of Savoy, Westphalia, Kaedrin, Haense, Renatus and Salvus, Defender of the Faith, Grand Duke of Kaedrin, Duke of the Crownlands, Carimea, Erochland, Kingston and Leone, Margrave of Greater Kreden, Count of Felsen, Louvain, Beauclair, Wett and Metz, Sovereign of Humanity and Protector of the Elves, etcetera. I send greetings to you and congratulate you to your ascension to the throne— even if such congratulation is many years delayed and therefore somewhat frivolous. It is upon this day that I, Taeleh Elibar'acal, of Blessed Haelun'or to write to you in hopes to aid you in the keeping of perverted and malevolent forces far from your Empire— something I so wish to bring about in Haelun'or myself. It is until recently that Haelun'or was led, at least in part, by a series of elves all of whom fell under the leadership of one Laethis Izalith. It is with this elf you perhaps had an amicable relationship, or perhaps you had not one. It matters not— for I am sure you shall agree that even the most vile of snakes can put upon a fake guise of kindness. It is upon this day I so notify you that one Laethis Izalith was a snake hiding in the corpse of a mouse. You see, it is Laethis Izalith who was of perverted mind and intent. Not only was the elf a butcher of our own kind— a most foul method to retain power— but also more importantly an elf of perverted mind. You see, it is Laethis Izalith who both recruited a small consortium of Frost Witches in Fi'ceru and then subsequently wed one— to satisfy his warped sexual desires. There can be no doubt that such an elf, inclusive of his murderous and perverted tendencies, has no home amongst the civilized races. It is thus, without doubt, I do request he become a wanted person in both our nations— so that he be harried and hunted unto death or capture— so he may face a trial for his vile crimes. "A commitment of legal cooperation when dealing with insurgents, treasonous individuals and fugitives." I do hope you read this in both good health and mind— and do heed this humble advice with the full knowledge that the acts of Laethis Izalith are undoubtable and proven. The elf must not be permitted to spread further perversions and dark magics amongst these fine Civilized peoples. maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, — Taeleh Elibar'acal of Blessed Haelun'or
