No the problem is that the community is extremely pixel hungry. Its pixels on a minecrat roleplay server that you will not be playing in 10 years when you have a family and kids and a job to manage.

No, you're all super wrong. It's the memes, they are infecting everyone and it's leaking everywhere, just like my butt.

You have to look at the BR's and put them into perspective with any other server of our size. With as many players as we have there should almost always be 1-3 BR's up. The staff does not ban for rules broken unless a BR is posted unless it is a current major threat to the server like hacking/pugsying/D(D)oS'ing/ect. LotC is unique in that the rules are not aggressively enforced like on every other server.
