If it's to add role play, I don't see much against it. As a side note, I used to own house with the Crystal Beasts.

Why another Aengul? Why not a Daemon, majorly lacking in them to be honest. On the Aengul side we have; Aeriel, Eshtael, Gazardiael, Nemilsae, Tahariae, Wandering Wizard, Wyrvun, Yeu Rthulu and Xan. Then on the Daemon side we have; Dragur, Iblees, Matzli and Apohet.

Make the roll something either 15+ or a roll off between the ghost and the participant, 18+ isn't entirely fair. Also, I am not 100% in favor of this considering it only helps a very small portion of the community though it doesn't harm the rest.

Why it shouldn't be put in is because that's not how cryonics works. It's not through the use of H2O but other liquids, since you would only be freezing them with water then the body will be harmed in the process. Considering you are saying that it preserves the body, that means there is a healing process in the midst here and that is where I would pull the plug on this idea, simply because that treads into clerical area. The point I was trying to say before was quite simply, why should the snow elves be given the ability to have this healing factor (regardless of how long it takes to learn) when other people have to go through the clerics? My human priest would love to be able to heal (what he views as) God's children, but due to a controversy of Creator Clerics a while ago, there's little chance of that happening.

I truly don't believe we as a server need this sort of lore, considering that if anyone wanted to do something related to healing or the preservation of life, they are met with the whole "Why not become a cleric?" argument, which is flawed in itself but if everyone is left with that alternative, it would be better than a culture of elves (that tend to seclude themselves) getting a new setup like this.

My reaction when this idea takes the form of a fake-roach;

Locked magics and creatures are needed when the thing that is locked can be easily played incorrectly to its lore, so having it within a guild is sort of a... Lesser of two evils. I personally would rather have it that you have to join a group to learn each magic, and then once learnt you can leave at your leisure, but that is just what I would love.

I am sorry that my opinion made you feel the need to retort in such a way, I personally do not believe that this is needed on Lord of the Craft. As for not needing a Lore Master's approval, I think it should since this has a small disadvantage for the advantages it gains. For the price of having memory problems, people get heightened awareness. The thing is, for one to get heightened senses in anyway their body must change to adapt the changes, which falls into the line of altering a race or character beyond mechanical standard (and yes, this is beyond mechanical standard, because you see and hear just as well as the next person, so having that heightened makes it beyond a scale that others can do.) which puts it into Lore Master territory.

I do not believe that this should be implemented.

On the topic of "What if unholy or people need instant healing", well my friend I have the thing for you! You know that temple you walk out of when you die? Did you know that you can return to the temple for a multitude of things? Healing is just one of the many things your local monk can do for you, and best of all, it doesn't harm the unholy/tainted! Everyone loves neutral magic!

I don't know about anyone else, but I am bloody sick of how a lot of people (mostly prominent in the Snow Elven players) cannot take criticism or role play, without calling it "Harassment" or "Bullying". Acting as if what they get is so much worse than what other cultures, and races get from people. A lot of the crap you get is because of how you started out, you have a terrible leader in character and had members who treated everyone worse than they'd treat a dictator. Because of this, it has left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths (This being all in /role play/). There was no hatred for you OOCly until you started taking it into an OOC level. You yourselves started making us have a distaste for you with the amount of stupidly passive aggressive comments made in threads that make no sense for you to be a part of in the first place! You could try and say that the "hate" started when the original lore post was made, but you'd be terribly incorrect considering that the comments made were generally saying "We don't need another race, this is dumb." which to be perfectly honest, we don't need another race considering how some of our races lack active members! Stop pulling the victim card, seriously it's plain dumb. We have a right to dislike the snow elves for many reason, and to be honest, you don't get nearly as much hate as others but you just so happen to be vocally active which makes it more prominent because (Like I said at the start) when ever /anything/ negative happens against you, you call "Bullying" or "Harassment". Leave the snow elves behind, rejoin the nations you left and regrow your balls. Thank you.
