  1. No offense, can't anything be power-gamed? Something having a higher likelihood doesn't make it any different than any other magic or mundane thing.. just my little tad bit of course, mostly a comment. Neither agreeing or disagreeing with you.
  2. I hardly knew you answered it, for one. But if you want my exact feedback, fine. It's an interesting concept, but the very things that Hesh said, it doesn't provide much role-play for other people. I honestly don't care whether or not this is accepted or not. Magic won't develop the Mali'fenn culture, the players itself will. Magic is a tool that could enhance it, but at the moment there's little to enhance. As well as the fact that instead of void magic, you could make Wyvrun grant this perhaps as a boon to his priesthood? And devoted, not just a belief that he exists and that you'll do anything for him. I do not intend to seem rude, again, merely crafting my feedback into a response.
  3. Looks interesting, but I'll decide my opinion when I understand what it does.
  4. I don't see why you need lore for this, but since it's posted it's a wonderful idea and I whole heartedly want to see this. +1
  5. If people wanna, let them. I didn't like the snelves as a culture, but it's not my business what they do, and I have no power over what they do anyhow so why argue? (not arguing, I'm just explaining my view on it)
  6. More doesn't kill anybody lol, that's like saying since there's wood-elves there can't be snelves.
  7. In the dawn of the eerie night, a figure steps aside to you, a reddened hood covering their face, the massive figure stands at an amazing nine feet tall... as he steps over you can't help but feel a chilling aura of suffering cloaking the edgy figure. They simply extend their hand to you, handing you a paper. Do you accept? Application/Scenarios: [Your name] slowly walks down the road, and as you walk, a ruin is seen nearby, with a cleric peacefully praying and gathering strength from whatever patron, inquiring to yourself, do you decide to kill the cleric, or instead tell your leader? [Your response] You step towards the leader, as the leader extends them the robes of an Acerbus, a mask plopped atop of it, remembering your training deep within your mind, you without vigor nor emotion extend your hands to grasp them, what do you say/do? [At least a paragraph, do your best!] You begin to write your application with a calm upon you, answering all the the following. Name: Race: Age: Purpose: Skills: [[OOC: from now on at this point]] Do you agree to joining the cult for the benefits of players, realizing we create events and not further our own character's goals? Do you agree to willingly participate in these events? Did you meet me IC or were you linked by an already existing cultist? Do not act as a stereotypical character that can be considered extremely "edgy" we don't murder children, we're basically terrorists who spread fear. Your bans, and for what reasons? Do realize if you do anything that suggests you are doing this for personal benefit, you shall be promptly removed. Same if you power-game, meta-game, cyber in chat, link inappropriate material, and break any form of rules. Any form of immaturity will get you removed. Also realize our guild information will be shared IC once you are fully initiated. PS: Making new character's specifically for this purpose of being a cultist here is allowed, but if you go inactive we may remove you from our chat. Event Leaders include GrimReaper98 and PiercingDarkness, pm them with any inquiries.
  8. I'm up for it then, I'm fully up to +1ing this. +1
  9. I'd prefer to keep it to IC belief to ensure that people can RP whatever religion they wish without feeling forced to conform to this lore. Though, it's really well written.
  10. It's a good concept, but I do not feel another race is needed for LoTC right now.. especially with races like the Kharajyr having little to no players compared to elves and humans.
  11. What exactly happened to the aengul for them to want followers? Also, I recommend making it less complicated to read, it just killed and fried my brain. Otherwise, looks good so far. Though- also, what's the aenguls motive?
  12. elindor.. how dare you! Err, I like the idea of this lore. +1.
  13. I think this is not the way to introduce Daemon Blood since it mixes with a concept that could be otherwise very power-gamey. My apologies. -1
  14. This would make a fine form of clericism, though I don't know if it'll merge with other lores that well. For now I'm neutral, I'll watch this closely with interest and formulate a better opinion then!
  15. I AGREE. FINALLY SOMEBODY AGREES WITH ME. It is utterly ridiculous to lock things, and only leads to clique bias and unhappiness all around, especially when it's based around who likes who OOC, if unlocked like villainy and most magic types, IT WOULD NOT END THE WORLD. If somebody PGs and doesn't listen to reason, swing your banhammer for breaking rules, for what some bad apples do should NOT limit what good players can. THANK YOU. (lol caps, I'm only making emphasis, not anger expressions.)
  16. All lore is technically irrelevant, though I will say this lore is interesting, I still feel you should change the name. Dragon Kin already exist and will get mixed up with this. Dragon Kin are Draagar, and Drakes as I said before. Drakes are basically corrupted dragons, and Draagar half dragon half daemons who hoard knowledge.
  17. I'm unsure, but Dragon Kin already exist as Drakes and Draagar I think, so you may need a different name to get less confusion.
  18. -1. Really well written, and enjoyable to read. But I don't feel it'd fit into LOTC's universe to create another dimension that isn't needed, why not use some other preexisting out worldly source?
