I'd also add that most people who actually study political theory try to create long term collective good, as opposed to power politick. Simply put, LOTC's meme culture rewards power politick and disfavors the high politics that political theorists try to emulate. Though, it should be known that most people who practice power politick IRP or OOCly are shortlived as the practice focuses on short term personal clout, as opposed to uplifting ones foundation and creating a change that lasts. So it's all a perspective thing, power politicians may appear the most successful in the immediate, but in the long term; their foundation always crumbles. This leaves the people who practice high politics the opportunity to pick up those pieces and further strengthen the position they've already carved out for their community.

I'd say to add a wilderness system of some sort. Tiles next to a nations region tile have no region owner but cannot be built upon. Any tiles which are not directly next to a claimed tile are free build (with the rule that there can't be griefing and builds that are abandoned after a certain number of time will be removed or turned to ruins). An event mechanic can also be added which requires nations or upstart settlements to complete a difficult event storyline in order to claim previously unclaimed tiles.

If they're a dark elf if say something like a scimitar or elven style one sided blades. But a spear would still also work pretty well. Potentially a mace and shield. Warhammers aren't very dark elven or used much in elven culture rply

Wtf is even considered an edgy weapon besides a katana. Also a spear and shield or spear by itself are fun to do. But any weapon that makes sense to the character. A peasant isn't going to have a sword unless gotten through to. And a noble likely wouldn't wield crude weaponry.

What Space said, the character just needs to conform to Orcish identity for the most part. To become a shaman you don't need to be an orc, you can be of any race. It's just more difficult. But if you show interest, and can work your way up to become an honorary non-orc orc. You can become one.

Blood magic would be cool if it was able to be self taught since currently only like 3 people use it. But the lore would.need.to.be simplified and people having.to have magic prior. As i think someone experimenting with using bloos for magic wouldnt be something overly uncommon. Other magics stated before but also soul puppetry.
