The issue also isn't trying not to die, it's murder in general. It's so common that most people resort to reviving. Which then makes death more common because people figure they will just respawn in cloud temple. It just goes on and on like that. But you can't say to someone "Just try not to die, and pk if you do." but what you may say is "Don't kill as often, only try to if it's necessary. Or makes sense." Then again this has been said before and people just ignore it.

If someone Rp's about being revived, or others being revived by the monks he just thinks of them as insane, or confused. Especially people that say that they are going to kill someone because they will just be revived by the monks. That bugs my character out and usually just end up yelling at the person. In the end, I think people should just ignore the monks revival in normal RP. Though at the same time I did a long time ago make a post against he abuse of monk revival as a whole. Also, I do like the idea, but I think it's kinda silly this needs to even be addressed. Either way most people should be Rping ignorance, just not as much do, and you don't need an ability to ignore them, or feign ignorance. You can do it now anyways, and if they make a br it will be quickly denied.

Basically what pandann said magic shouldnt be and isnt bound to excess amounts of depth. In the end its magic no need to be overly explained.

This magic really reminds me of the fade step spell in Dragon age inquisition. Honestly, I quite like this idea and it seems cool, though the thing that might be a bit cooler is perhaps being able to change speed of yourself? So when you start using it from the very beginning you'd only be able to go like 30 mph as your fastest speed able to travel, and then as you get better and better the speed in which you travel could get faster and faster but with more risk of collision and injury, this could also lead to people at like max tier being able to move at speeds like 50 mph but farther than 15 feet and 15 feet only being the distance one can travel by going near instantaneously? If that makes sense. Another thing that'd be cool is something other holy mages have where if they aren't fully concentrated whilst teleporting it is possible that they can loose an arm. Like for example, if someone were to do a last ditch effort type of teleportation out of a situation or over exert themselves and teleport themselves farther away than they normally can, they can simply not have enough mana or not enough concentration to recreate their arm and have it cut off. The last thing I have is just a question. What would happen if a person teleporting went through a ward against the magic? Would they simply die instantly? Explode? Turn to confetti? Anyways, I quite like your idea, let's see if the lm's are open to it? You have my support BNK nice job.
