Posted near cities would be a simple poem, made to entertain, and with no real purpose.

‘Twas a quiet evening, stormy thunders on the horizon;
The grass did wain in the rain, its roots settled deep into
The ground, not prepared for the sound to pound their
Very beings.
For the Jomble caused the storms, its frivolous tail
Slinging and slanging, to and fro,
For the Homble blade did not know where to strike,
And lo! Had the blade began to mow down upon this
Beast, it would have slashed the Jomble’s carpace.
So my fellow, beware the Jomble that runs and swings,
The beast, the monster that hunts and stings!
Lo! Where its eyes rest, is where its bloodthirst
Must be met!
With head athree, protect yourself, my fellow,
For this creature’s mood is not mellow.
With the jaws that bite,
The claws that catch,
You must beware the creature’s nasty batch.
Whence the Homble blade does swing,
It will slish and slash, for it does not mish and mash!
It will ring and sing, for its sting is king!
But when the Homble blade does not swing, you
Must beware the Jomble, for without the sword
Of Homble, you will perish a fate, worse than
Death.
In the jaws of the frivolous Jomble will your head lie,
Will it bomble and crumble, with closed eye.

OOC: I saw this picture, and it reminded me of the Jabberwocky, one of my all time favorite poems. This is also the first set of poems I intend on putting out.
