  3. Hello! I started on Lotc during Vailor back in 2015. Wow, five years I've been involved in this community. Anyway, I took a break for about a year due to the chaos of school and starting college, etc. Some of you may know me, others may not. I've changed my username a few times. You might know me as Jennanana or Jxnna_! Anyway, I just wanted to say hello again and see if any of my old friends here on the server, that I haven't already spoken to, still play! Feel free to reminisce on old memories if there are any and I will see you around.

  10. A Binding of Thorned Hearts 7th of Sun’s smile, 1677 The beams of the filtering sunlight through the treetop canopies fell on the couple wrapped in love’s embrace, facing each other with emotions tangled in their intimate reflections. A small audience of friends, and the remaining family of the two star crossed lovers; they stood in the knee high grasses of the meadow looking on at the procession of two becoming one. Atticus stood looking down into the glimmering emerald eyes of Elisabella, with a soft hand he took up hers.”I will forever be yours, my heart and yours are now joined together, bound by our everlasting love, a bond unbreakable even when faced with the strongest peril. At every step we shall take, every breath that travels through our lungs, every word formed from our lips, may they only endorse the love we share. We are now one.” He slid the delicate, emerald adorned ring onto her pale finger. Once Atticus’s vows were made, Elisabella lifts his hand with a tender touch, with joyous tears in her gaze her words were soft. “You are the blood running through my veins, filling my heart full of your love. The world could turn cold, and yet the flame of our undying endearment would remain, the warmth of two melded and forged beneath starlight. As far as the ocean is deep, my love for you runs deeper. With you at my side, the dangerous waters of my past are calmed, the sadness is cast away into the sea, and the once empty heart that lay within my chest is overflowing with your love.” She slips the sapphire imbedded gold band onto his finger. A kiss ensued, tender lips sealing their eternal love. The witnesses applaud as the newly married couple exit from the ceremony.

  15. Elisabella would look over the invitation that Ser Roland handed to her, a small smile forms on her lips as she reads "I'm sure I can make it. I'm happy for ya, new found mate!"
  16. Ehier Meracahe [!] A book with a mismatched backing was added to the library in Caras Eldar, it'd be ever so obvious that someone snuck it on the shelf “Well, llir, I should be off. I do have a trial to complete, after all!” the elfess beamed, “Aspects guide you.” she’d state in her departure, dipping her head slightly. Eylianna wanders away from city center, out through the gates, and deep into the woods. “Imbalance in nature, imbalance in nature.” she’d repeat to herself as her feet pace at the ground, a small hunting knife drops from her waistband “Oops.” she’d pick it back up, continuing to walk. Her hands brush against the bark of several trees as she’d pass. Eylianna’s thoughts ran as wild as the forest she wandered about, contemplating situations of her own imagination as she’d walk. Calmly and contently, the elfess walked for hours on end. Time progresses and the sun dips behind the horizon. Eylia gathers dead, dry, branches and ferns and stacks them in a neat pile. She strikes together two rocks for several minutes until a spark catches, setting the dried brush alight. She tends the fire with branches and any other useful tree particles to add, in which she would find on the forest floor. While the fire was maintained, Eylianna clears a patch of moss from scattered twigs, making it a suitable place for her to lay her head for the night. “Aspects protect me, as predators prowl these lands, looking for food to satisfy their hunger. Turn them away from my flesh for I am only here to help restore the balance. I give my praise to thee.” she’d muse before she brought her body against the moss patch, closing her eyes for the night. At the mere break of dawn, Eylia takes an abrupt awakening to the cries of what would seem to belong to some sort of cub in the distance. She’d rise to her feet, stomping out the remains of the fire, she followed the cries. The cries grew louder and louder as she headed west. She comes to a stop at the trail of blood, her eyes follow it. She’s stunned as she sees a bear cub with black fur encaged. “Who would hunt a cub? Leave it in a cage for later, at that? They don’t nearly posses enough meat, claws, teeth, or fur to benefit from.” she’d frown “Unless it’s for game.” she’d shake her head angrily. “This blood is probably from the poor creature’s mother.” Eylia makes her way around the pool of blood and to the wooden cage where the crying cub is held. “Shh, shh, little creature,” she spoke in a calming voice. “We’re going to get you out of here.” she’d half speak to the cub in reassurance, the other half being a reassurance to herself. The cage was made of large branches, the corners were bound by strong twine. Eylianna takes the knife from her waistband and removes its leather cover. She’d slip it in between the wood and the twine, pulling upwards at it. She grunts as the twine doesn’t budge “It’s tied too tightly.” she’d growl. She slips her hand in to grasp the twine, pressing her feet against the cage, using it as another force as she pulled at the twine. The weak elfess uses the maximum strength that her body is capable of. Her hands slip and she falls to her back with a groan. She’d soon stand, taking a kick at the corner post of the cage, but it barely cracks. Reaches for her knife once more, placing it between the twine and the wood, sawing at the fibers. It slowly, but surely, begins to tear. The twine of that corner breaks, she’d move down to the bottom corner, beginning the same process. As the knife slowly cuts through the twine, Eylia stops, her ears perked as cruel, distant, laughter is heard. She’d saw at impeccable speed. The twine snaps, leaving a small opening, but not big enough for the cub. The voices draw nearer and nearer by the minute. In hurry, she starts kicking at the wood, making small cracks and breaks. “Oi, wot’re ye doin’ with our cub!” shouts an angry dwarf from afar. Eylia mutters something under her breath “Aspects guide me.” She reaches into the cage, taking the distressed cub in her arms, it scratches and paws at her as she runs deeper into the forest. Heavy, distant footsteps are heard following in her trail. Eylia pants from the exertion and winces from the cub’s claws. She comes at a halt when she is faced with a rushing river with heavy currents. Eylianna becomes frantic, her eyes bouncing around her surroundings as she thinks through a solution. “Dwarves on my trail, a large hill to my left, an unpredictable cave to my right, and a river in my path.” she thinks to herself, but three large figures surround her as she stands on the edge of the river. “Ye ‘ave our cub, lasseh.” said a bearded dwarf with dirty blonde hair. “Aye! We need t’at focker! T’e runt is gonna be an opponent in t’e great foight,” shouts another dwarf, this one being red-headed. The last dwarf had a battle axe raised, his eyes pierced through Eylianna. “I will not allow you to use one of the Aspects’ creations as a toy in your game. It’s cruel.” The dwarves pressed in on Eylianna. Being unarmed, she’d cower back, her foot slipping off the edge, dipping into the rushing waters. “Nowhere tae run, lasseh.” smirks the red-haired dwarf. They press closer and closer. Eylia closes her eyes, taking a deep breath, she’d grasp the cub close to her chest, its claws dig into her arms, she winces before leaping back into the river. The current takes her downstream. The dwarves stand stunned as they watch her drift away. Moving fast down the river, Eylianna’s head is pulled under the current multiple times, when she returned to the surface she gasps for air, but is pulled under once more. Through several minutes of being submerged, scraped by rocks, and tussled from each curve of the river, Eylia manages to keep her head away from impact and her consciousness intact. The elfess sighs of relief as she’d see a fallen branch that partly hangs over the river in the distance. As she draws closer to the branch’s location, she vigorously swims to the other side of the river, panting as the river fights her actions. She wraps the one arm around the branch once she reaches it while keeping a firm grasp of the cub with the other as it clung to her with its claws. She’d grunt as she swings her leg over the thick branch, mounting it like a horse. She sits for a moment, breathing heavily. She’d pet the cub gently in the attempt to soothe it. When the cub was calm she’d stand, balancing on the branch as she’d walk to the land. Eylianna cradles the cub as she’d follow a long journey back to Caras Eldar, she glances down at the cub “I found a new llir, not to mention completed my trial. I shall name you Meracahe, Balance.”
  17. Erika Vanir reads the act, shrugging "Never did any of this anyways. At least now, no one can do them to me!"
  18. The 17th of Snow’s Maiden People file into the Cathedral of Saint Otto & Karl in Markev. They take their seats as the await the toll of the bell, signalling the beginning of a wedding! Smiles on faces, gasps from the small children, and the rise of the guests as the doors swing open. Franz stood next to the priest at the altar, his father at his side. He’d be dressed in posh, formal attire with colors of his house. With his hands folded in front of him, his lips curl into a smirk as he catches a glimpse of Erika through the doorway. A quartet of strings begins to play slow Music. Erika and her father, Aldrik, being arm in arm begin to make their way towards the altar. Erikaliftsthewhitetulee of her skirt as she walks, glancing to her father then Franz, nothing but a broad smile on her lips. The two come to a stop as they reach the altar. “Who gives this woman to this man?” said the priest. Aldrik glances to Erika with a smile “Ah do.” he’d respond with a heavy accent before he’d hand her off to Franz. Franz and Erika stood parallel to each other and took one another’s hands. The priest asks the guests to sit as he’d begin the matrimony. After a few scriptures of the ceremony it was time for vows to be recited! “Erika, repeat after me.” the priest would instruct. Erika nods before reciting his words with an accent of her own “Ah, Erika Lilaine Baruch take thee, Franz Petyr Vanir to be my wedded husband, to ‘ave and to ‘old, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in ‘ealth, to love and to cherish, ti ll death do us part, and in the name of GOD, ah pledge myself to you." Erika took a wedding band, and placed it on Franz’s finger. The priest smiles, nodding unto Erika before turning to Franz “Franz, repeat after me.” Franz clears his throat before repeating his words with a smile, “I, Franz Petyr Vanir take thee, Erika Lilaine Baruch to be my wedded wife, to ‘ave and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in ‘ealth, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, and in the name of GOD, I pledge myself to you." Franz places the ring on Erika’s finger. The priest nods as the rings and vows are exchanged. “Do you Erika, take Franz to be your lawfully wedded husband until death do you part?” he’d inquire looking to Erika for her response. “Ah do.” she’d reply, her smile brightening. The priest looks to Franz. “Do you Franz, take Erika to be your lawfully wedded wife until death do you part?” Franz nods “Ah do.” The priest looks forward and exclaims, “I know announce thee husband and wife!” he’d look to Franz with a smirk “You may now kiss your bride!” Franz returns the smirk before taking Erika into his arms, placing a kiss to her lips. And thus two become one. The priest asks for the guest to make way for Lord and Lady Vanir. Franz scowls at the term “Lord” but smiles as he escorts his newly wedded wife out of the Cathedral. People who were specifically invited to the wedding by the bride and groom: -All of the royal family -Family of the bride and groom -Each Vassal to Haense -Any citizen who wished to attend
  19. Katherine Sofia of House Stafyr declares her support for Lord Marius Baruch. Erika Baruch's vote would be obvious to favor her brother!
  20. Beitiris packs a bag full of clothing, food, and ale, secures her axe to her belt, and tosses her med bag over her shoulder. As she steps onto the dock she'd glance back at the place where she's remained for years. She smiles as she recalls all the thriving memories that remain in her head "Oi'll be home soon enough." She'd whisper for her own comfort. Each foot after the other, she steps onto the ship and sends herself away. The further she drifts into the sea, the more unforgiving the waters and the stronger the storms become. She tries her hardest to man the ship. After endless hours of fighting the storm, getting thrown in various directions by the rippling waves. She runs to the captains quarters, scribbling a quick letter, she brought it to the deck and sends it off. "To whomever, this letter shall reach in Kaz'Ulrah, As I further my voyage, I find nothing but a struggle with the sea. I'm unsure if the ship or I can bare this storm much longer. If I am not to return, I wish for someone to appoint Brynjar the clan father of the Stormbreakers and Kathtin the go-to medic for them as well. Someone must take my place." Best wishes, Beitiris Stormbreaker Though Beitirs spoke of not returning, it is still unsure of her being. Did she become lost at sea? Did she reach land at some point? Perhaps it will be known if Beitiris returns.
  21. JENNA EMOTED VERY LATE Beitiris reads the flyer before writing, very big, on the bottom of the flyer "If any of you bastards sit in my chair, I'll cut off your legs! -Bei-" She signed, posting the flyer back on the wall.
  22. Erika Lilaine runs to her room, her eyes full of her tears, her cries to be heard across the land. She slams her door shut with an echoing thud. She lays herself down on her bed, sobbing. Words are barely made out between the sobs but are recognizable. "No, no, no, Grandpapej come back!" The young child, not knowing how to gather her emotions, not understanding the situation, cries herself into a slumber. Astrid, now reunited with her father within the seven skies, greets him with an angelic smile. "I've missed you, papej."
  23. I love correcting grammar mistakes.
