Sorry for misinterpreting your message. I thought you were calling more active Charters and non-nation settlements like Thyra, Brandybrook, Kadarsi, etc. just random settlements full of nothing but tumbleweeds and forgotten memories.

This is mainly my fault, please do not blame the Community Team for this. I shall improve the Brandybrook wiki page and connect it to the Halfling racial page today. I should’ve done this a lot earlier, but I’m lazy.

“Made up of” implies that the 1-2 people are the sole inhabitants, and “little to no activity” does not give off the impression that these charters would have 1-2 people online at any given time on average.

I’m fairly certain that Brandybrook has more than 2 players in it, as do most other non-nation settlements that aren’t purposely uninhabited. Anyways, if you want to play a halfling, feel free to make a Brandybrook halfling! We’re doing quite well right now (averaging at around 1 person online at any given moment, not bad for a village!), and we have an active leadership that’s capable of planning events. We don’t have much room to build more burrows, but there’s rooms in the tavern that you could live in while we figure out the housing situation. The culture’s pretty cool and the people are even better. It’s not for everyone, but it sure can be a blast sometimes!

Sorry that the wiki isn’t up to date. I’ve made a wiki page for Brandybrook, but I’ve yet to put said wiki page into the Halfling page! We have an event planned to take place at 7 PM EST today, so if you want some cheap and easy halfling RP you can simply attend that Brandybrook event! They did /breakdown on your locked door to open it more than likely. And I’m pretty sure you can steal things without placing signs, but don’t quote me on it.

I’d bring give Halflings a speed boost when sneaking or crawling so that when 1.14 comes to LOTC we can build Halfling burrows that are only 1 block tall and maneuver around in them normally. Finally, the solution to the age-old Halfling door dilemma is solved! Simply make them 1 block tall and use new 1.14 mechanics to crawl through them!
