  1. Blanca Anarore received the letter in her Norlandic home. She looked to her spouse in despair. "Maman died." She held the letter close to her, cherishing it as the very last thing she'd ever have of the mother she'd always wished had been biologically hers. When Blanca was younger, she remembered losing her biological mother and the way that it changed her. Annette gave her a chance to start again, a chance to feel the love of a mother unplagued by the things Alizee suffered from. A mother who loved her unconditionally and didn't disappear without warning. Annette helped her heal the scars left by Alizee's passing and Blanca's falling out with her father. Despite being disowned for a long time by Emir, Annette didn't judge her. She showed her kindness, something the girl had long since forgotten. Blanca finally lost her mother, her real mother, blood be damned.
  2. A far away former Vampire laughs lightly at the thought of paladins finding everyone to be darkspawn. "Good thing I wasn't one for long, hm?"
  3. Hailing from Norland, the ONLY Canonist in all of Norland found the missive. "Sounds like something I could try to assist with. Perhaps I'll bring Io as well. Could be a fun family outing to use our combined Alchemical and Medicine prowess."
  4. Blanca read over the missive and scoffed. "Leave it to Haense to only want to continue this war, I'm glad to have no part in it."
  5. Blanca smiles softly. "Thank GOD, it's finally over."
  6. At the gates of the Seven Skies, Chloe waited. She took a deep breath and frowned seeing Gaius once more. "I'm sorry for everything Gaius, but you're here at last, so forgive your mother, would you?" Then she opened her arms wide to hug him once more. @Wavey Meanwhile, in Hyspia, Eryane had heard the news at last. Her last sibling had passed away. She would forever live with the regrets of their childhood. She'd forever regret the things that happened to Diane, her twin sister, but she was glad that she had her nieces and nephews would live on for them. As none of her other siblings had children other than Emma, and Emma's kids were distant. Perhaps it was time to visit them again and send her condolences in person.
  7. As soon as it arrived, Marlena was rather excited her nephew was getting married. Then she read the name. Her face contorted in disgust and she tossed the paper into the fireplace. "Nein."
  8. Phoibe nearly fell out of her seat at the news, rushing to her fiance. "KOIOS! CHERI! Look! I did it! Told you so!" The woman was so proud of herself, she nearly fell over a chair in the process of telling him. @Aehkaj
  9. Eryane Teufel, who knew Damian since he was a young child shed a tear at the loss. She wasn't very close to him after giving him away to her brother, Gaius, to take care of. She knew she certainly couldn't take in an orphan while raising her own children. She was at the very least, happy to know that Damien grew up well. She was glad he grew up loved and cherished by those he left behind. And she couldn't wait to hear about all of his adventures someday in the Seven Skies.
  10. Marlena frowned at the news of her mother-in-law's passing. Marlena had always had a soft spot for the Princess of Monterosa since they'd met and Augustina immediately warmed to her son's future wife. Perhaps Marlena cared more than she thought she did, for a single tear fell down her cheek knowing that the last of Gabriel's parents had gone.
  11. Rocks-Anne witnessed this, but the creature did not care! The golem was busy escorting it's Impera when the situation occured.
  12. Blanca Anarore read the missive and narrowed her eyes. "The very people I used to consider friends, attacking those I hold dear. Veletz says they want nothing but peace. They lie." At that Blanca threw out the missive.
  13. Blanca heard the news at the king of Balian's funeral. Sitting next to her spouse she went quiet, nothing could ever have hurt as much as losing her father after they had only just become close again. Blanca's family was well and truly gone. Her mother had passed in her teenage years, Laetitia, and so many of her siblings, now her father. She wondered if she'd be wearing black for the rest of her life as she tried to hold back the tears. A while later, another woman heard the news and reacted with a simple frown and nothing more. "It is a shame you are gone, dear cousin.... not much else to be said about it." And thus, Eryane returned to her daily life with her youngest child Matianna, and her husband Jack.
  14. Meanwhile, Laurens' daughter Phoibe sipped some tea with her significant other, Koios Teufel. She scoffed at the missive. "It always seems as if they're being rewarded for their treachery, doesn't it? Sure, he kept Halcourt, but I know damn well he was never around for pere..."
  15. Maeve could not read much, being only 10 years old and some of the words were far to big for her mind to comprehend, but she read it as it was sent out and her found the first words clear as day. The little girl curled up into a corner of Hyspia sobbing to herself. Her twin brother, her closest family member. The one who was with her through all of her shenagians... had died. Maeve, for the first time in her life, felt truly empty and she could not continue to smile like she had in the past.
  16. Medea <3 I love you too girlie.
  17. Against the general consensus, Blanca Anarore smiled warmly for her father. "Whether he believes it or not, he's always deserved to be a true de Rosius, as his family before him. I hope to see that missive you promised in the coming days." At that, the formerly estranged Anarore put the missive down and took a deep breath, ready to congratulate her father in person.
  18. "Ooo a ball!" The Balianite who often came to Veletz exclaimed happily! Maeve was looking through her clothes, trying to decide what she'd wear if she went!
  19. Looking for players to play children Need two children in Norland, they're in their 20s with no players, we'll get you a skin. And a child in Halcourt in Hyspia, they're not born yet, but SOON. We already have a skin. Contact me on discord @Aehmi
  20. Need someone to play a child of my Halcourt! We've got a skin lined up if you'd like to use it. V cool stuff

  21. "No, say it's not true! Grandpa!" Daniel hadn't known his grandfather all that well, but he'd still felt like the loss just as if he had known him. So much of his family was passing away and he was hardly an adult now himself.
  22. Maeve Galbraith frowned heavily. "It's not fair! Jan and his family shouldn't be forced out of their houses. My own family and the people of my nation bragging about taking them from their own home. That house did nothing wrong, why do they hate it so much?" Maeve seemed very sad, penning a letter to Lady Brasca in support.
  23. Phoibe Halcourt was celebrating their hard fought victory, she poured one out for the absolute unit who lead them to victory.
  24. Blanca Anarore, the second full-blooded sibling sobbed in her room. She had already been told of her sister's passing, yet it hit her even stronger after her father's missive. It seemed a time for grief.
  25. Blanca Anarore smiled at the missive, happy she could freely travel between nations in the Coalition without nearly as much scrutiny as before. She looked to her spouse. "I trust you'll do a good job, as you have always, Mon Amour."
