  1. When I read the first version it was explained to me that the Command is a per combat thing. You enter combat and your deep summon needs you to spend brine to command it for that combat encounter.
  2. I remember seeing an early version of this re-write in its Google doc form. And will be giving it a proper read once off of work. Though the piece itself gives a unquie depth to existing dark magics and if implemented properly will give a lovecraftian kick to the server that dark magics before it failed to do. I'm glad to see it posted. awo
  3. The short ker grips in his hands a sturdy pole hammer. Dread fills him for just a moment, stepping inward into the lightless alleyway. Where vines begin to weave and coil. He laments, for he does not know if the pumpkins will best him, or he, will over come them. Muffled screams are heard soon after.
  4. The Shamanic Writers Basement would like to know your location and inflict extreme kazoo torture on your ear drums.
  5. A ker, blinks as she stares down at the missive, looking up at the forest of voidal taint before her. Then back down. Then back up, then towards the east. Then back down. "What? An attempt at the Ames life?"
  6. Haunting purple stares upward, to towers caked in silk. The Azulite hisses out ever softly. Eyes shifting back to the message carved onto bark. Freedom could never be achieved. From Luara, to this putrid Nemiisae. In rage she left, keeping low and towards the ground. Seeking passage towards the south.
  7. From an Antenna, in a basement. Confined to a strange, Hive like room, regenerates the form of Oecanthus. Round two cometh in a year. A shaman stares out towards the bay, rubbing tired eyes. Alive, scars mended. Though shaken.
  8. Jusmia Owns the Letter J and will be demanding royalties for all that use it.
  9. "An interesting age. Perhaps I should turn my eyes to the east more." The shaman stares out at forest before Nor'asath. At the voidal corruption slowly creeping closer. "But a lot is happening in my front yard..hrm..soon? Ti. Soon..maybe"
  10. Long time dark elf player here. Dark Elves and those who use intrigue to manipulate their sphere of influence. This does not interact with dark elven lore to any degree. For further information reach out if you want. In ancient Magara'lin dark magics would have been extremely frowned upon and only the few Azulites in ancient Magara'lin would have practiced such and all Azulites are dead in the modern age.
  11. I was told that you said we weren't aloud to make chitin from player ran creatures like the Lurker. My aim is to just have chitin armor that doesn't require an ST signature
  12. All and all the general point of this piece is to just give more aesthetic and let us LARP Morrowind I will not deny. When it comes to crafting methods I can understand that but I am not sure about special properties beyond to much. Example in theory any armor made of Chitin should be considerably lighter, but I don't want to make a piece like this to give a combative edge over other players or groups nor lock knowledge of this sort. Thank you for the constructive feed back.
  13. A mistake I missed when I was editing. The purpose of this redline was not in its final form which was to say Crafts of Chitin are not ST signed and offer no special affects To be a counter part to ST signed chitin armor that typically does have more affects. I welcome suggesting and constructive feed back :D
  14. When we asked Squak, we were told we are not allowed to make Chitin Armor or harvest it from a Lurker in any way shape or form. Crafts of Chitin will not be ST signed, as it bears the same durability, weight, and mechanics of Ferrum. This is not a means to simply get ST signed Chitin armor but allow us to just have aesthetic chitin armor.
  15. Since the shelfing of the Scads Chitin Armor has not been allowed, let alone has it been made, or have LT proactively played such creatures. Chitin Armor ST signed has long been gone aside from one persona that has a full set of fancy ST chitin armor. All and all yes this is the point of the Gua and there is no shame in it.
  16. Vertical Ant. All and all these piece is just designed to allow those that want to have re-colored and different metal armor that is chitin.
  17. The Gua ☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽ A house cat or small dog sized insect with four stubby legs. Their chitin hide is weak, breaking easily with any force. These creatures are domesticated or raised from birth. Their native habitat are any general surface level caves or burrows not within extremely cold climates. Gua within cold regions rarely go outside willingly, and will stay near sources of heat. Gua can range in hue from any standard array of color. They are able to bear small markings of chitin. For example, a purple Gua with streaks of blue upon it. Or a green Gua with jagged lines of red. To the Mali'ker or those seeking to utilize, the Gua are invaluable. For their saliva is the vital glue that holds chitin together for extremely long times. Contact with air will cause this creature’s saliva to harden slowly. This compound is harvested, and due to its nature, working with it requires speed. The saliva is used as an extremely strong glue. Though typically is added by other natural resins and glues for chitin crafts Which will hold the chitin plates together as the days of yore. In addition to offering everyday mundane uses. The average lifespan of a Gua varies, lasting from thirty to forty years. They enter a period of heat ever eight years, in which a litter of six to eight eggs are laid. Behavior ☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽ The Gua are non-aggressive, bearing two large mandibles with little strength against anything larger than themselves. These mandibles cause minor damage to bare skin. They are affectionate creatures that are fond of physicals activities once domesticated. Domestication comes easy, either by luring and training the animal with treats. The limbs of a Gua are designed to burrow shallow holes or shift loose rocks to make a nest, added by their mandibles which act as shovels with clamped together. When provoked, the typical Gua will attempt to trip foes or simply flee into a burrow they have created. The main diet of a Gua is that of an Omnivore. Enjoying fruits, vegetables and the meat of creatures it can fit in its maw. Though the Gua is extremely partial to pears. REDLINES Gua Saliva can not be used in any form of combat situation. This is to say you can use Gua saliva to trap a persona, imprison them, or hinder them in anyway that does not have OOC consent. In the case of funny out of combat RP where a persona has their hand stick to a surface with Gua Saliva, it can be removed with force or chipped away. When cooked, the Gua typically tastes and bears the same texture to chicken. Though may be boiled to have the meats and organs within the chitin to melt fully. Druid Communion with a Gua finds them to be extremely bubbly creatures. Gua can not be used in any form of Combat RP, if combat starts, they flee and are unable to interact with the CRP. Gua Saliva merely serves as an aesthetic purpose for Crafts of Chitin in the creation of Chitin armors, weapons, chairs, book shelves and beyond. Gua do not require an ST to be played
  18. Chitin Crafts ☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽ Within the days of yore, the Mali’ker used chitin in everyday life. Within ancient Magara’lin where the fauna of the under realm offered all food and craft, this chitin served a vital use in the building of homes, boats, plates, bowls, and of course armour. This Chitin armour was made from the carapace of native insects and held together by resinous glues. This creation process is applied to all Crafts of Chitin. Such ancient techniques have been lifted from the darkness, and integrated into modern Mali’ker society. Stronger resins, metallic straps, and plates. These modern suits of Chitin hold the strength of the metallic Ferrum plate and bear the same weight. In the modern age, this can be extended to Chitin weapons as well. Harvesting Chitin ☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽ Harvesting Chitin is simple and can be done from any insect creature. All Chitin harvested from creatures such as the Lurker, Stilt Strider, Giant Beetles and beyond bare no magical affects or properties. Operating the same as Ferrum. Crafting With Chitin ☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽ Crafting with Chitin is a simple process done typically by heating rods of metal or blades to curve away at the chitin and create the desired shape. Akin to standard armor craft, leather straps can be bolted into chitin. Pieces of chitin are held together by the extremely strong glue like saliva harvested from the Gua. Anything from bowls, spears, vases, shelves, or even walls can be created with enough chitin. Crafts of Chitin bear the strength and quality of Ferrum or Black Ferrum. For all mechanical purposes it is simply aesthetic Ferrum. This includes weight, and though instead of degrading with time to rust, chitin rots in place of the natural process of rust. Weapons of Chitin are able to be lit on fire twice before the Chitin fully burns away. Chitin does not warp with heat, it simply melts. Weapons of Chitin bear the same weight, durability, and effectiveness as Ferrum or Black Ferrum Crafts of Chitin is not RARE knowledge, this means it does not require an FA or anything of the sort to create Crafts of Chitin. Characters are able to stumble their way through creation or learn from other characters in the same sense standard metallurgy is. Crafts of Chitin are aesthetic in nature purely. These do not require an ST sign to roleplay Crafts of Chitin. ST signed chitin, will follow all oversight rules as is standard with approval of an ST.
  19. Cloaked, crouched, watching from tundra flora. A massive insectoid creature places a tri-headed bolt of Salium on its massive crossbow. Mandibles click against each other softly. "I will inflict great violence now."
  20. A chitin bound form draws the long brown cloak further around its form. Tied to its strange feet are flat wooden platform shoes to disperse the snow. Keeping it's weight from sinking into the snowfall on the tundra ground. "I miss cabbage."
  21. I can't stop thinking about this post and that someone needs to stream the WC and commentate it.
