Elder Clan Starbreaker The Assailant: Azdromoth and his mortal servants, the Azdrazi. The Wrong: Desecration of the Temple of the Worldmaker, and the Shrines of the Ancestor-Gods, the Brathmordakin. Date of Wrongdoing: 72 SA. Terms of Settlement: The Eradication of Azdromoth and his servants. OR The Exile of Azdromoth and his servants from the territory of the Grand Kingdom, the Heads of those responsible for this vile act, a formal apology issued by the Arch-Dragon himself, either delivered in person or through his foremost mortal servant, and compensation in the form of a treasure of irreplaceable value from the Hoard of the Arch-Dragon himself, delivered to the High Prophet or the Godslayer by the Arch-Dragon himself, or his foremost mortal servant. Note: Let it be known that should the High Prophet of the Brathmordakin, or that Jorvin ‘The Godslayer’ Starbreaker fall in battle before the grudge is fulfilled, the task of seeing this grudge crossed out shall fall to their successors and next of kin, from now until the End Times. Let it be known that should those responsible for this heinous act fall in battle before they may be brought to justice, the heads of their successors and next of kin will suffice in their place. Now, she grows weary, a tiredness bourne of the bureaucracy that is Urguan, and for this I cannot blame her, as I too hold it in distaste. Lulubelle has seen fit to abdicate from the position of Clan Mother of Elder Clan Starbreaker, and as such I now make this proclamation, for all the world to bear witness to. I, Jorvin Starbreaker, son of my father, Kazrin, who was himself son of Gardath, son of Osram, son of Koryk, son of Kazraden, son of Skalf, son of Gotrek, son of Urguan, reassume the position which I held for over a hundred and fifty years following the abdication of honored and revered elder, Kazrin. I once more ascend the dias of Lord of Gotrek’s Folk, Patriarch of the Elder Clan of Starbreaker, and from all who descend. Since the time of my adolescence, I have led our folk in peace and prosperity, and commanded them victoriously in battle likewise. Armies under my command have brought down innumerable of Urguan’s foes, and in battle I have slain Voidal Horrors, the Undead, the Neverborn, and even a God. Let any who would dispute my right to rule come before me, they may voice their concerns as they bow. My first act upon my resumption of duties is to reaffirm Clan Starbreaker’s undying commitment to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, which we helped reforge along with our fellow Dwarves all those years ago. I have served Urguan my entire adult life, and will continue to do so until the day I die. Every action I have ever taken has been for the sake of my clan, and Urguan as a whole. My second act is to continue as I always have, a foe to Neverborn, and the servants of the Arch-Enemy. I am now and always a Champion of the Brathmordakin, and as such, a slight against them is a slight against me and my folk. I broker no such slight, not before my kin, not before my gods, and not before myself. NARAK OZ GOTREK JUSTICE WILL BE DONE
  7. Uthyr Gwathren reads the missive, perking a curious brow. "I suppose she didn't take to the leaches enough... Purifies the blood. Pity." He huffs, before returning to his mercenary work.
  8. In the halls of Urguan, Jorvin Starbreaker hums a dirge in honor of those Dwarves who fell in battle, before flicking through the Great Book of Grudges to find the page he sought. Over a century ago, the old Starbreaker once fought side-by-side with his Dwarfen kin against voidspawned Neverborn. Perhaps he would again, before long.

  12. Deep within the halls of Kal'Darakaan, within the Temple of the Brathmordakin, Jorvin Kazrinsson Starbreaker smiles tiredly to himself as he crosses out another page in the ancient and sacred Great Book of Grudges, just as his father once did, before turning to kinsman, Norli Norvarsson, who stood watch over the hollowed book with him. @Nooblius "Maybe I ah' was wrong about this Ire'eart, eh?" Before adding on for the sake of his pride... "Tho' ah' would've done 'et quicker."

  17. From a by-the-books people-pleasing Legionnaire with dreams of being a famous scholar, to an old, jaded godslaying warrior-king in retirement. Not a bad story arc if you ask me.

  20. Father of the Iron Accord, Former Grand King Jorvin Starbreaker reads over Bakir's missive with a neutral expression. Long critical of the Elder Clan of Ireheart, the rapidly aging Cave Dwarf remained reserved, his own opinions aside, he would serve the crown of his forefathers as he had his entire life. The wounds of Haverlock still fresh as he limped his way through his mountainside tower, Jorvin brought himself to the armory. Therein held all the weapons of his youth. The defunct Starhammer, which once shattered Neverborn in droves, the Seax which found the throat of mannish knights... Until finally he found what he sought. His War-Hammer, forged of steel which still shone in the torchlight. It was wielded in Helena, wielded in Kal'Orvul, wielded in Llyria, wielded in Thumrilgrad, wielded in Krugmar, and wielded on the foothills of the White Mountains. Wielded on land and sea in the war against the hated Neverborn, and wielded until the last moment, as it was traded for the hammer of Urguan himself to land a killing blow on a treacherous Aengul. He wielded it too at Southbridge, and it was clamped tight in hand as he fell from the walls of Haverlock. He hoisted it aloft with some difficulty. staggering under the weight, not as he struggled to lift it, but as he struggled to keep his leg from buckling. It was a horribly heavy weapon, horrendously impractical for those who'd not spent the greater of two centuries wielding it. Jorvin was not the fighting Dwarf he once was, as a lifetime of war had reaped a bloody toll on his stout body. He struggled to lift his arm above his head, and without his cane, walking was a challenge. Jorvin made his way down the stairs to his forge, and it was there he retrieved his saw. With it in hand, he set his war-hammer clamped to his work station, and got to work.... When his work was done, Jorvin wiped sweat from his brow, and retrieved the aged weapon. The haft having been sawn halfway down the length, the fittings such as the leather grip and cap having been adjusted. It was an off-center and cumbersome weapons, true, but he could now wield it in one hand, and that was all he needed. One hand to keep him steady, while the other went to butcher's work, as it had for two centuries, and would forevermore until finally it was done, and either the Mannish Empire had been broken, or he finally dropped dead. With that, the old Starbreaker slung his mail hauberk over his tunic, and set his coat upon it. Setting the hammer to his belt, he paused briefly... Reaching for his old helm of Atheran steel as he departed the armory of his tower. Delayed no further, Jorvin made for Kal'Darakaan, and from there, to war once more. Win or lose, perhaps the bloodletting of the last two decades would finally come to an end. NARVAK OZ URGUAN NARVAK OZ KORNAZKARUMM KHAZUKAN KHAZAKIT HA [MUSIC]
