Is there room for 11* fully autonomous human nations/ settlements? This is the most egregious example but similar anecdotes can be found relating to other racial/ multiracial hubs; do we have too many spaces relative to our player base now, which has remained effectively the same size since the Pandemic?

if you dont want big crp, dont go looking for it.  Raiding a city should have consequences in RP, you automatically welcome a big defensive reaction in RP if you go attacking city squares.  I hate the argument that "dark mages wouldnt have a chance otherwise!" for CRP Lock

CRP Lock was introduced to protect smaller and DISCREET attacks from forming into a giant battle.  CRP lock was NOT introduced to strangle conflict and force encounters to be to the attackers advantage in massive raids

When you think about it, it's kinda crazy how transparent many things on lotc are. Usually reports and staff applications are hidden in most communities.

Bandit "rp" is the worst rp on lotc.

I love it when people just start lame ass combat 1 block away from you and then say "d20" afterwards, not giving you any sort of actual roleplay.

elven unity is such a funny idea, its like high schoolers getting along and working together without disagreements.

there is truly only one way to unite elven kind.

Looking back at the Almaris snapshot makes me realize how much better the map design was, even the empty areas had more varied terrain and just somehow seemed more alive. Towering forests of thick conifers, mesas, open plains, alluvial hills, great river valleys, and large chains of islands to explore made Almaris just seem so full of things to get lost and discover. I've been looking through it all day and I'm still finding interesting places I've never seen before despite playing on the map for a year.

Aevos just doesn't really compare stylistically and just seems very milktoast. I hope we get a sort of map expansion soon - maybe another big island chain or half-continent to mess around in to add more variety for exploration's sake.

we've had the /realms activity command for less than a day and RP already feels infinitely more centralized and easier to find bc it's just so much easier for ppl to congregate

I genuinely think this /realm activity command will be capable of saving smaller nations
