  1. Petyr, anticipating his likely appearance, sends forth a letter requesting space for a stall. He ponders over what he could sell, before looking over the Jerovitz field with crops near-grown. He figures that since most of the crops and plants of Jerovitz's field are too plentiful, there would be excess enough that they can be sold as-is or turned into delicious foodstuffs. IGN: Crevel Character Name: Petyr What you are selling: Crops, Flowers, Food, Animal Products, and Miscellaneous (Iron, Dye, etc.)
  2. An important step in harbouring a safer community. It is good to see the policies publicised, and hopefully it should encourage future victims to come out without fear of an unpredictable process. Good job, Administration.
  3. Petyr puts together a piece of parchment and a writing implement. Fortunately, he was taught how to read and write in his youth which would prove handy in the application he was to write. Name: Petyr Age: 19 Race: Highlander Allegiance: I hold residence in the Kingdom of Haense. Why do you wish to attend The Citadel? I wish to extend my knowledge to improve my life and provide opportunities. I hope that I will be able to offer my expertise to assist those around me. Which classes do you wish to enroll in? Military Studies, Medical Studies, Survivalist Studies He would hire a courier to deliver his application. Soon, he would make a visit to the Citadel to see it for himself as he awaits a response.
  4. A Ruskan monastic interested in the affairs of Man ponders the letter and its prose. He consider the citation of the scrolls, performed by a countess with no formal study in the Holy Scrolls yet seemingly abuses its words with her own interpretation. God never established the temporal inheritance of Man's titles and their dominions. It was a creation of Man to decide who inherits and is considered the head of a large household. He hopes that they see the errors of their ways for the role of God should not be abused in temporal politics. Other than that, he doesn't really care.
  5. I think that he was in a VC with someone, likely drunk, and thought it'd be funny after realising the possibilities the plugin opened while not considering the consequences or inconveniences that it would cause people. I would not be surprised if admins or mods use his response or responses to this thread to determine whether his ban length should be a lengthy one. You can't bring the fight to the Palebeast if you're banned for a long time. Yes, which I've reconciled with and was able to accept that what I did was wrong after lapses in judgement. My prior mistakes do not justify the actions of others in the present. There are better ways to present feedback about a poorly-made plugin, and it's not by exploiting it heavily to the point where Tech & Admins had to prevent people from making new RP signs.
  6. As cool as I think you are sometimes, it's common sense not to do that. If you're a goober, you get the hammer. It's likely marked as an investigation ban while they try to assess how many signs you created and/or vandalised, and how much of an inconvenience it would have caused. I know I for one noticed them at Cloud Temple, on the way to Vienne, hidden in shops/stalls, and hidden in the Karosgrad as well as its palace in secret rooms accessible only by walking through a painting. I'm sure there's much more I haven't seen. You need to stop being silly like that man.
  7. They shouldn't have exploited a mechanic created out of good faith by doing untold damage around the map. It's common sense to be banned for that.
  8. This needs to be tested on and between every human noble alive. +1
  9. Petyr embarks upon a set of carts to discover the beautiful Aaunic landscape away from his Haeseni homeland. A cart would take him to the Azor Keep. Gasping at its amazing stature and beauty, he could tell they are a pious people residing in a pious kingdom even if he did not know much about the family itself.
  10. Petyr hears of the news abroad as he sweats in the Haeseni sunlight harvesting a field of carrots. He'd later see the artistic depiction in the tavern, wondering where all these whacky hats are coming from.
  11. I don't understand how that's supposed to help since they're exact same thing, but Americans started calling it soccer to distance themselves from Britain
  12. Petyr, a proud Haeseni farmer, would praise his King for his governance for establishing such an important pact.
  13. “So the Lord turned his gaze from the Skies to the World, and He ordered forth the Immortals, and they set to the work of creating the World. And they shaped in this plane many lands, and they separated the earth from the seas, and sowed the Lord’s treasures into it. And the Lord breathed life into the beasts, and ordered their estates. And GOD saw that it was good.” Gospel 1:10-13 As Petyr sat alone in his room, his father would approach him sitting by his side. They both remained quiet for a moment as they took in the mutual silence. Petyr’s father would then begin to speak, “I am sorry about what happened, Petyr. I know that if that were to have happened to your mother, I would feel the same.” Silence continued to fill the room, only to be intermittently interrupted by the distant chirping of birds. “Shall we pray for a moment?” Petyr nodded, and the two joined together in prayer with his father leading it with some prayers of his own. As the two eventually finished prayer, his father would place his hand on Petyr’s shoulder, “I spoke with your mother. We both think that it’d be for the best if you go out and see that there’s more good to the world.” Petyr’s eyes met his father’s with shock. He had been raised his whole life working his family’s farm, only leaving for occasional trips to Karosgrad. “You’d have me leave? Who will be here to till and sow our fields?” Petyr remarked hastily, but his father had seemingly already predicted a question such as this. “We’ve put some money aside, we should be able to pay someone for their labour and we’ll give them a place to stay. We want what is best for you. Prepare your things, we’ll see you off tomorrow. Okay, Petyr?” Petyr put together some food and his belongings, including an arrangement of papers that would help guide him where to go. Coming out of his room, he would be met by his mother who immediately swaddled him with her arms as her tears wet the fabrics of his shirt. Petyr stood there awkwardly with a knapsack in his hand before his mother pulled away. “Make sure to take care of yourself and to read. People will take care of you if you can read for them.” he nodded to her before stepping outside the house to meet his father who was bringing a horse by the entrance with a lead. “Take good care of him. He gets a little spooked at night so make sure you talk to him.” He comes to hug Petyr, locking him in as he pat his back, “Come back to us alive, da? We’ll be here whenever you need us.” Petyr nods, escaping the hug before tying the knapsack to the horse’s saddle. He’d mount the horse, looking at both his parents. “I’ll be okay.” Petyr laconically states before trotting off to discover his future.
  14. Every time I went to Du Loc on my former Haeseni Cardinal persona (R.I.P. Anders), there was always something wild going on. Especially if it involved Quentin Brae (Shorsand, I believe). First time I went to Du Loc, Quentin Brae was being drunk in the streets espousing drunk stuff. I had a look around the Lectorate keep and there were poo marks on a wall from the aftermath of a burrito. Second time I came around, some dark elf came to the front gate of their keep and offered to teach them Blackspeech to help them fight against dark creatures only for them to be shot point-blank in the chest with an arbalest and killed. Third time I came around, they were mid-fight with a herald who accidentally confessed to being a herald. A few honourable mentions: seeing Quentin Brae drunk on the roof of a building in Yong Ping yelling while trying to throw rocks at him to get him down, having Quentin Brae come by Haense's basilica to assemble a group to search for a Farfolk man named Tyrone who stole Quentin's wife.
  15. “And as I have created for you the struggles of the world, so too do I create the struggles of the spirit. And as I have created the struggles of the world and the spirit, so too do I bring their remedies. For I have given you the pains of the world, and I have given you their cure. And you shall know the trials of this theater of virtue, and know that they shall strengthen you.” Virtue 5:5-8 As Petyr walks the streets of Karosgrad on his lonesome, a vivid echo of hymns echoes from the entrance to the great Basilica of St. Henrik catching Petyr's attention. Drawn to it like a moth to a lantern, he enters the Basilica to a troupe of Ruskan Monastics chanting in Raevir that a trained ear would recognise as hymns that include verses from the Bogdani Scrolls. Placing himself on one of the pews, he takes in the scenery while the monastics and clergy perform their daily sacraments. Blinking, Petyr allows a tear to trickle down his face in silence. After a moment, a priest approaches him from the side before placing a hand on his shoulder. He begins to speak, "My son, would you like to make Confession?” Petyr pauses a moment before nodding. “In the name of the Father, and of Horen, and of all the Exalted.” the priest speaks from within the confessional. “Is this your first time making Confession?” “Da. This is the first.” Petyr nods. “How have you sinned?” “A few weeks ago.. a close friend of mine was killed. I left her alone when I should not have, and she was killed…” “How was she killed?” “I left to get a flower for her.. I left her on the road for only a few seconds. Two horses ran over her on the road.” Petyr sniffs, before heavily exhaling, “I am full of hate, Father. Hate for myself. Hate for those that did this to her. Juliya did not deserve that.” The priest hums, “You know, we can never fully understand the Lord’s plan for us. Even the Exalted were never certain of His plan. However, the Holy Scrolls do help us to understand how the Lord works in our lives. He tells us that He breathes life into all of us, He tells us that He has brought us comfort and love, but he also tells us that He brings us struggle and pain. We see in the Gospel that even the Exalted, including Horen, went through struggles of their own which tested their moral fortitude and their resolve. The Lord never gives these struggles to us out of spite or hate... these struggles are trials - opportunities to overcome our adversities virtuously and become closer to Him so that we may come to love Him as He loves us. While you go through your own struggle, those others will face their own struggles from their mistakes where they will find strength from God.. just as you will.” “-and Juliya?” “Juliya has played her part in God’s plan. She would be gathered among the other virtuous in the Seven Skies now. She will have no more struggle and no more pain. Juliya is close to the Lord now. You need not worry for her anymore. Do you understand?” Da.. what should I do, Father?” “You should learn to forgive, and love those who may have hurt you. The potential for virtue and salvation is in all of us, especially in those who have done wrong. After supper during your evening prayers, take a moment to pray for others and pray that they overcome their tribulations with God’s help. I think that will suffice.” “Spasiba, Father.” The priest then formally ends the confession, “God, the Father of mercy, hath, through the authority of the Prophets, instituted a sacred priesthood for the administration of the Sacraments and for the remission of sins. In union with the Exalted, Saints and Angels in the Skies, and all the faithful departed, and on the authority of said priesthood, I do absolve thee from thy sins in the name of the Father, and of Horen, and of all the Exalted. Thy sins are all forgiven.” As the two left the confessional, Petyr would feel more whole and at ease despite the confession being rather short. Staying in the Basilica a little longer, he would soon make his way home.
  16. This is true. However, if they're going to mention more obscure topics whether it be a religion, culture, etc. they should at least be putting in some extra work behind the scenes to ask the people behind that stuff for an accurate summary so that people have a chance to accurately learn more and decide if that is something they would be interested in.
  17. Yep. It's so funny how they just glanced over it as well while Canonism got a little more in-depth explanation.
  18. Finally good to see some initiative taken by Media Team. Hopefully we see more of these in the near future.
  19. Petyr wonders why the author felt it particularly necessary to provide a portrait of themselves in their "study"; which he felt like was more so just an observation rather than an actual study on the buildings. Regardless, knowing of these other churches now, he would lightly consider the possibility of going on a pilgrimage of sorts to these places when he is older.
  20. Petyr hears of the conflict abroad. A nasty bit of business, but he hopes that it is resolved swiftly. After recently hearing of the elevation of the 'von Draco' to Haeseni nobility, he wonders if that would cause any complications. Messy wars aren't good for anyone.
