  1. I know and it is why I am confused, because I believe that I have heard a recent Nephilim player or two stating that they have Housemagery. No names come to mind other than them being Nephilim players so I could be misremembering; I've just woken up and this post is one of the first things I've read.
  2. As someone who has been interested in the idea of becoming a herald and hopefully a Nephilim one day because it provides the opportunity for some unique roleplay that I haven't dabbled in before, I read some of the rewrites and general lore from time-to-time. I can't comment exactly on how balanced this would be in comparison to some other magics because of my inexperience, however it does seem quite well-written. I do have two main pieces of feedback though. The first is that there are some inconsistencies between Units required in the spell redlines and in the titling such as with Flamebreath (states 2 then 1) and Corruption Instillment (states 2 then 3). I think it would be better sooner rather than later to clear up these inconsistencies to avoid confusion in future roleplay and therefore avoid arguments. I believe it is only with these two spells. My second is that given that the Augmented Flame requires them to seek the limits of knowledge, their heritage, etc. It may be more effective to tie those new abilities into the tier system for the Fallalery, giving their appearance more meaning and have their aged appearance be testimony to their experience and knowledge they've uncovered. Perhaps an Augmented spell may be granted as a Nephilim reaches T2 and T3 respectively. Just a suggestion. It'd work either way. I also want to ask for confirmation with this rewrite if being a Nephilim actively cancels out the ability to learn and/or perform Housemagery now because I believe I have heard of previous Nephilim having the ability to perform it and am curious where this rewrite leaves it.
  3. what's the difference between a conservative and a liberal? a liberal knows they're a pedophile and supports 'em anyway
  4. Can we instead get a daily alert when you log in that simply says, "Please exercise." I think it would remind many people to keep active. Thank you, Planet Fitness
  5. Petyr smiles at such a personal invite from a lord of such a high stature. He arranges his plans around being able to attend, making sure that all his crops are taken care of in advance.
  6. Petyr reads over the letter before smiling for the royal couple. Though he may just be a farmhand, he plans his attendance and searches for the perfect wedding gift.

    To Haense

This is the best meme, it's not even meant to make sense, but it looks exactly like Blah at the same time to people unfamiliar.
  8. Petyr, the Haeseni and Aaunite farmhand, and now explorer, discovers the outlaw camp. Perhaps the first person to do so.
  9. Poorly written, poorly formatted, very vague, contains magic that can be easily attainable by learning other magic and overpowered new magic with no redlines on Dynamancy itself or any of the accessible magic. It's an interesting idea but ultimately, it's a poorly thought-out and poorly written lore piece that seems unneeded. If you post lore here, you're submitting it as a finished submission so don't mark it as being frequently updated. If you are truly interested in trying to create a lore piece, I encourage you to speak with the Story Team members that dabble in the lore department for advice.
  10. I know there have been times in the past where we have quarrelled in regard to Moderation stuff whether it is you as a mod or myself as a mod, but I hold no ill will towards you since you're a good guy. I hope you enjoy your break, and your family is doing well. It'll be nice to welcome you back whenever that happens to be. My question will be, "What size is your shoe?"
  11. Petyr, a Haeseni and now Aaunite farmhand as well, becomes a proud landholder. He will now play House Flipper in Minecraft as he redecorates his lovely new home.
  12. Carolustadt? That was Renatus. I prefer Renatus because it gave me an outlet for new player me to express racisms against @squakhawk's dark elf Ensign of the Imperial Legion. It was also just cool feudal, modern Oren is vomit. Ave Renatus.
  13. It seems a bit strange to make a forum post for this tbh. Also, why is Tabby mod?
  14. The Ruskan Monastic, Omari, peers over this missive advertising the Petrine military. He shakes his head to himself silently. Omari notes that it in no way mentions or gives respect to God, as you would expect in a creed at the very least, while further professing a non-virtuous quote and principles in its purpose statement by way of arrogance, greed, and aspiring to a worldly greatness without God. He signs the Husariya and prays that the Sons of Petra are able to find virtue in their ways lest they succumb to a rotten soul devoid of love for God.
  15. Petyr, the Haeseni farmhand and housemage, rejoices.
  16. "To abandon a politically temporal title to maintain fidelity with your family rather than leaning into politics which often rots the soul of virtue is a most virtuous choice." the aging Ruskan Monastic, Omari, comments regarding the situation in his own musings. The monastic then repeats an excerpt from the Scroll of Virtue, "For I have ordered your station and birth, and I have established the order of things. And you shall not envy the lives of others, for all virtuous paths are equal in My eyes, and all shall be rewarded not according to their station, but their virtue. So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid my faithful this: You shall keep fast to your word and station, and aspire not to greatness among men, but to My glory."
  17. Can someone convince Anore to come back to Moderation in some form? Thanks.
  18. Petyr, the Jerovitz farmhand, feels that noble succession is confusing. Regardless, he now has a new employer that he hopes is still willing to pay him for services rendered.

  20. 0. I'm not really into family or romance RP so any children sprouted from any of my personas are usually NPCs used for story, or me (in which case they'd usually have zero children anyway). It's a very unique question, props to that. Scratch that, there is 1.
  21. Petyr prays that His Holiness is safe on his pilgrimage to Formosa.
  22. I don't like this post. You've preambled it in a senseless manner where I cannot genuinely tell if it's meant to be a parody or if that's what you truly believe mixed with humour. You should not tell people that they are the character and tell people whether directly or indirectly that they should be encouraged to be attached to their character to the point that they will weep or cry for it. The first rule of making a character is being able to detach yourselves completely from the character. The moment you begin personalising that character and making it "real", you become more willing to protect it to the point where OOC arguments over that character and its treatment will inevitably become a problem. OOC and roleplay should be as separated as possible, and you're condoning that they should be intertwined. It is still possible to have a detailed and good character without being very attached to them as long as you acknowledge it for what it is, a character. Your comments about races and settlements/nations felt unneeded, not only because you said stuff that isn't really relevant but you're providing information that seems to be just baseless opinion or useless commentary. I will say that there's not much to complain about when it comes to the flaw and playlist section though. It's decent advice, but everything else which makes up most of the post just overshadows it. You should have kept this rant "guide" in your head.
  23. Leithedir An'asul wanders, not having a fixed home. He continues to write memoirs on the world before throwing them away. Perhaps, he will travel to Celia'nor - a realm that he unintentionally helped in its creation in pursuit of an improvement of home. Perhaps, he will stick to calling the Silver State his home - a realm that he had lived for most of his live and served its military only for it to sacrifice its own values to appease the world and its impure iconoclasts that had once taken over the nation. For now, he wanders. Maybe one day, he'll add to his "Leithedir Collection" of published essays with a stable roof over his head. Though, it wouldn't be today.
