leave me alone 995 Share Posted November 1, 2013 There seems to be a lot of asking permission here. Why should an army have to ask permission to move through a certain area? Or ask permission to attack by sea, it should be the faction that is getting attacked who must prepare and combat these conditions. Well, from my point a view - if we can build around, you can't limit the amount of space players have, as in - You can't just have the entire map be one hand-made piece of work. That takes away just being able to play in the minecraft world, and at that, the natural minecraft world. While maybe the center of the map can be handmade so it looks good, I again suggest that the rest being natural generated - with a limit on how far we can go out. Also, while I like the idea of the mining age, please don't completely remove mining from the overworld. Set a limit on that too, such as what it was back in the day, only digging down to y:40. I don't want to see basically what Oren is right now, a "nation" with no formal army and a 90% crime rate, protected from any attack from Malinor (Has an army and very little crime), or almighty Urguan (which has a huge army with a fleet of ships and a platoon of siege weapons), just because it would "threaten the centralization of RP", because that translates to: "It threatens the orenian nobility's titles and right to rule 100 players". Also, here is something that has been on my mind from time to time, it may seem like I'm thinking too far ahead, but what will we do with 5.0 (if the server lasts into its 4th year.) I don't think it would be a good idea to move map again, if 4.0 is a success, unless we try to improve again. Booklight12 481 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I like everything in this. Except I think we should not have a multiverse. This multiverse for mining I can see completely ruining the server. I have seen many other servers rp or not use multiverse mining and it has been the downfall of them. If we do a multiverse for mining it will ulitmately result in a more spread of goods and rp. Such as instead of someone saying in rp "Hey, does anyone know where I could find the finest steel?" Someone would normally say like "You should head out and look for Steelwater exports, they have the finest steel in Anthos." But instead people might end up saying ((Dude, just go to the mining world and get your items.)). Really, I just feel it will spread it out a lot and think that we should instead keep the mining system that we have in place where we go into a mine and it resets every month or so. This is us saying we wanta grindy-esque skill and professions system for 4.0. I honestly don't know what more you want from the administration if the majority of the playerbase prefers a skill system with bonuses at higher levels and experience via crafting and mining.
