Experience: I've owned a stall within the kingdom for years, and I know the in's and out's of being a merchant.

 

Reason(s): I know what the dwarven economy needs. An active Grand Merchant is just that. Being a member of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, also involves paying the taxes. The cost of owning a stall in the city of Kal'Ithrun is rather high for the amount of space provided. I plan to lower that, and by being active still be able to turn a profit for the Kingdom, at a fraction of the cost for the owners. Also, many dwarves are being forced to take residence in the Legion barracks. I believe this is unfair, as there are many unused houses within the city, and a current, member of the kingdom, could gladly move in and put the space to good use.

 I own a stall with the city. Along with that all of my teachings have been around the concept of money and things of that sort. My father, Thorin Grandaxe, had thought me all I know.

Reason(s):

I believe that I should be chosen for Grand Merchant for various reasons. These include the fact that I was thought by my father, Thorin Grandaxe, he was believed to be one of the richest dwarves ever. Along with that I have a lot of experience as a merchant over my many years on Anthos, however I currently don't have  a massive wealth at only, 14,200 minas, I make up for that in materials and I believe that I would be able to make money for the kingdom but also gather materials to both sell and keep for the legion so that they may grace us with their protection.
