"Urguan did force me to drop the Imperial title, it was one of the clauses for peace they were considering having all of my family killed including the children that remained. You made a mockery of Oren, taking not only Salvus but the Westerlands, along with helping Flays raid my former Kingdom there were even talks in breaking the peace treaty to help the Flays conquer my former Kingdom. Though I suppose it was only me humiliated for my father was not there to humiliate so all the blame was passed to me, me who didn't do anything. As for the notion that they accepted nations to escape the Holy Oren Empire they only started accepting nations after the dissolution of the Holy Oren Empire. Specifically rogue rebel states of former lords of Oren such as Galahar and Savoie who then proceeded to attack the Republic of Gallmore with Dwarven backing, admittedly I had a part in this. at the time, Savoie that evolved into Ruska and now is Oren. So its a vicious circle of Dwarven mistakes from the Dwarven point of view. I merely serve humanities best interests with that I serve the King."

"Which means they did not conquer them by force, as the HOE did. The dwarves gave that which the HOE had forcibly taken from the other races of Anthos. When Oren conquered Malinor they demanded the elves give them regular payments of steel. Elf steel! No man would want the steel of the elves. It was the HOE that sought to humilate other nations, not Urguan."

"Salvus chose to leave the Empire when it had the chance because the HOE cast down their King, slaughtered their people and then sealed their city and turned it into a trebuchet testing ground for the Order of the White. The "Westerlands" were taken from Malinor when the elves lacked the soldiers to dispute it. The dark in Urguan's past is nothing compared to the abyss in Oren's.

The dwarves have offered to end the war so that both sides may focus on the north. Continue the war and the dwarves will cling so tightly to the axe that they will forget the hammer and end up a twisted shadow, midget Flays preying on unguarded settlements, all civil conduct and peaceful activity forgotten."

"Perhaps not conquered but they protected these nations when they committed atrocities do not forget that. it was not out of Charity they wrapped their arms around Flay to protect them from other Kingdoms and they favoured Savoie and Galahar over their long time vassals the Adunians allowing them to slaughter them in the end not punishing them while under vassal ship. Then my abdication came due to Dwarven actions allowing all this egg on the face of Urguan."

"As for the Westerlands Argument I believe you are lying, there are no records anywhere saying the Original Westerlands were Malinor land as they do not in fact border Malinor they border Lenfarthing. Attempting to make my father look bad fair enough I understand it. But the Westerlands were settled in my Grandfathers time and Godfrey is the greatest leader mankind ever saw and likely ever will see."

Hiebe doesnt understand why there is so much discussion over the word grand when its only been around for 12 elven months. He thinks the dwarves can call themselves whatever they want afterwards but grand doesnt seem much of a big deal. Too much pride he thinks

"Protection? Protection from retribution. I spent sleepless nights attempting to combat raids by the Flays of Galahar, I respect Thorin for his initial intention I do. I believe Thorin was a great King and he helped me more than can ever thank him for but he did terrible things protecting rogue states such as Savoie and Galahar has thrown an egg in the Grand Kingdoms face today."

"You just described the state that became the current Oren, the state ruled by the Carrions, as a rogue state. I question your loyalty to your King."

"That was a different time under a different King, he may carry the same surname but he is not Goddard. I've sworn to serve humanity as Horens are meant to, not always as rulers I have come to see. Doesn't mean I'm still not annoyed about how I lost my throne but the man I hold a grudge against is long dead so I can serve my King without question."

Dion hears rumors about peace negotiations between the two Kingdoms and remembers how he shot the Dwarven official that started the war so many years ago. He chuckles to himself, "Stupid midgets."

Lark sits in his Krelmstad office, tankard of Carrion Black in hand as he looks over Kralta in the eve, the sounds of strelesy supping together make him smile and think out loud, "Te' peace we 'ave 'ere is temporary at bes'...Even when Dorf-rascals seek peace they continue their raids and make demands like greedeh bastards they are. Even in defeat dorfs seek te' mock Oren and make escape from sins." Lark looks over to his desk, a copy of the latest terms by both sides and frowns, "Te' words of anothe' realm yell through peices of parchement, discussing 'istories o' eras long gone. I dunnae tink matters anehmore. Dorfs joined Oren Civil Wae over odd gamble. Civil war is over but te' dorfs seek vengeance. Who is te' bloodthirsteh one 'ere 'Sons of Urugan'? Oren? Who seeks te' protect its diverse culture an' thrivin' peoples? Led by a King whose well verses in war and kingship? Niet, Oren is nae bloodthirsteh. Oren is tired, angreh, and rustles. If te' dorfs won't swallow their pride and accept te' consequences of their 'orrible actions....They will burn." Lark sips the Carrion Black from his tankard and looks away from the window, an expression of hate and sorrow upon his face.
