I think it probably means 'up to 33%', meaning that a child will always be more likely to be homosexual than an older sibling, but not necessarily homosexual. 

 

I wonder what happens if that older sibling is homosexual, and if they get rejected by their parents or not, as well as cultural factors like religion, etc. Too many variables at play to slap a percentage on it, but the logic is still there I guess.

Katherine1, you say you made profound changes, but I can challenge that on the basis that because people do not suffer cognitive dissonance over the internet - you are bluffing to try and make yourself seem higher than you are. I respect you all here, but time is being wasted here when they can be put to productive use does make me wonder. All said and done, this is a video game aimed for entertainment. Humans gotta relax sometimes, but I dont put forth my "causes, beliefs, and goals" on the forum because I recognize it as futile, wasting time when it should be directed to more important aims that can actually accomplish said goals and causes.

Just because you're educated does not mean you are above Katherine, or anyone else who posted here, and the ways you utilize the preconception that because you don't take a game seriously makes you a more reasonable, and or, smarter person, is a bit odd, if not arrogant.

I promise you I myself suffer cognitive dissonance all the time on the internet, Gaius, can't speak for Katherine1 though. Also you can stop bringing in your 'this is just a videogame' argument since this isn't a videogame it's a debate thread on a forum, just as valid a place of casual speech and pleasant debate as any other place really.

Because Gaius enjoys debates and discussion! He's a walking talking upstanding man who seeks to broaden his horizons. We all like doing our own things and if Gaius enjoys his debates and so does Katherine, then I don't see the issue. I'm sure Gaius doesn't mean to come off as a condescending high-brow, we just all have our own ways of typing and writing. Writing in an essay-like format that tackles points and offers counterarguments is just his modus operandi, if you will.

I'm talking about differences in the lives of other trans people. I have helped people through rough times. I do my best to help trans people when I speak with them, and I have friends because of it that would have committed suicide without help. If that isn't helping, then I don't know what is.

Not trying to be funny or anything Katherine, but you could try to stop acting like the god of transsexuals anytime you want. We understand you're proud? of your sexuality, but you're really milking it lol.

but whilst I respect the fact ya'll feel 'stepped down on' or 'oppressed'? lol, I really do wish some of the LGBT community like you would stop acting like this is the Deep South in 1947 and you're all black people drinking from a white's only water fountain. You're not treated like Emmett Till, and you need to stop acting like you are - especially not in developed countries that we all live in. If you were getting hacked to pieces for wanting a pair of baps in Nigeria I'd understand, but you're exaggerating your situation so much.
