A Red Dawn: Lucienist Victory

The Order of Saint Lucien hunkered in the inner chambers of the Cloud Templer, the Ruskan People's Army and Orcs under Rex Erik'Azog roared and fired at the Lucienists who poked their heads out to fire bolts or explosives down, a bloody stalemate, as the Grandmaster Jack Rovin, the high Pontiff, and the leader of the RPA met to discuss the changing of the True Faith, and the future of it.

 

A rustle in the grass, a sharp whistle, and the Lucienists burst from the temple with shouts and warcrys, charging, Litanies on their lips, and prayers of strength overtook their tongue in Holy Fervor as they charged forth.

 

 

Suddenly a cry from behind the retreating RPA and Orcs, and a hail of javelins, and arrows rode ahead of a force of lightly armored auxiliaries, swords and shields in hand.

 

 

The Orcs fell in droves, the Rex taking many hacks and slashes, but himself no match for the Lucienists, and the RPA fell.

 

Konrad took up the Sword of the Ruskan People's Army, and raised it high, planting it in the body of a dying Ruskan, as victory was declared that day.

 

Another sharp assault at the closed gate was quickly halted, and survivors mopped up as the flags and banners of the RPA were burnt in a pyre as their leader exited the meeting, war songs sung

 

 

Grandmaster Jack Rovin of the Order of Saint Lucien pointed at him as he left, atop his horse, the Lucienists behind him in lines, Auxiliary beside Knights, no words were spoken, but a feud of blood was started.

 

The Sword of the Ruskan People's Army was hung up as a trophy later.

A great war involving all factions within Oren, especially the overpopulated region of Ruska, better known as Zhulbania... has proven that the massive numbers of the combined might of the Ruskan army, Orcs and Decterum can surely defeat five Lucienists who were lead into an ambush with falsehoods being spoken to them about a Scourge Attack!
