The League

 

Declaration

 

From this day forth, Lords of this realm promise to congregate their forces as a singular powerful unit in order to create a new great force to serve the Holy Kingdom of Oren. This confederation of Lord’s levies will be called the League. All participant lords will be technically the vassals of Valles, but loyalty to the League itself will be the primary emphasis, to help further create a unified front as opposed to having divisive and muddied loyalties to many different lords within the Brotherhood. The following Lords have sworn to participate in this Brotherhood.

Hierarchy

 

All Lordly members of the League are to maintain a mutual respect for eachother, and disagreements will either be brought to the Duke, or if needed a vote will be made amongst the lords. The members of the League are technically vassals to the Duchy of Valles; however, the League and defense as well as the commands of the Grand Master come before this in order to ensure the defense and well being of Oren. All lords in the same rank are considered equal whether one be higher than the other is status.

If a soldier distinguishes himself specifically and it is in general agreement among the League’s Lords, he may be placed in a position of authority or a specific duty. Insubordination will result in severe punishment.  . Positions of authority include;

 

Grand Master

The Grand Master is the sovereign commander of the army. He is in charge of making quick decisions and overseeing the work of the order. Long term decisions will be brought into the inner council for a vote.

 

General
The Generals are the commanding officers of the order. They will be given important tasks from the Grand Master as well as the privilege to lead raids and diplomatic missions. Apart of the inner council.

Knight Commander

The Knight Commanders are high ranking officers of the order. The have the ability to lead raids on approved locations as well as command the lower ranks.

 

Knight

Knights are the elite soldiers of the League. They have authority over the soldiers and are expected to be models of discipline and chivalry.

 

Captain

Captains are soldiers yet to be knighted who lead in battle. They take care of the day to day things as well as command men when needed.

Sergeant

Sergeants are trained soldiers who have been actively in the order for some time. They have limited authority over the group and help the upper ranks enforce order and discipline.

Elite

Elites are trained soldiers of the order who have proven themselves capable in combat. They have no authority over the soldiers below them but are recognized as powerful soldiers.

Brothers

Brothers are the rank and file members of the League. They have yet to fully prove themselves to the army but are recognized as full fledged members.

 

Unoathed

Unoathed are the newest members to the order. They must show loyalty over a period of a few elven days to a week during which they are introduced and trained.

Diplomat- Available to a knight commander
