Those who participate will be expected to get on TS. On TS, commanders are to give orders and get others used to hearing commands over TS. Those who show good leadership skills while remaining true to our chain of command will be rewarded as our order grows. And as 4.0 approaches, you bet your sweet ass we'll be growing. That's all. And in response to our 4.0 plans, you are all expected to cut down on the trolling. Again, IC consequences. OH and don't forget the Orenniels, bunch of players from lenniel who made human alts. Everyone else I've either RP'd with and can agree they are serious, or haven't rp'd with at all. Anyway, that just caught my attention first cuz colors.. But umm yaaa this pvp stuff is really annoying that it happens every day. I understand you're at war but like, you keep either being pushed back to a fort or standing around outside a fort because you can't siege. What happened to the good old fashion open field skirmish. Leave the large bordered area and you win, no need to chase them back to a fort and stand around for 30 minutes. Yes I know, people don't like dying so they run blah blah.. But all you're doing is exhausting resources until an actual warclaim is done, so might as well have set terms for skirmishes so we don't waste time standing outside walls when we chase the enemy home. Get me? Don't declare war on Oren lol, we've all seen the history, we win almost every battle. People in Oren are mad at the Zion treaty, and seek to express their anger. Lord of the Craft is predominately identified as a Light- RP server, so naturally PvP is going to exist and is an accepted part of the server, however roleplay is the main theme of lord of the craft. Problems have been occurring when those who prefer PvP try to force this type of interaction on those who despise PvP entirely thus causing issues.So, wait, the problem now is too much PvP? I'm not suggesting that we should go back to RP default, but the server has faced this problem before. What's the solution? I don't know. Our previous attempt to fix it was RP Default. If it will begin our route as a community to turn our backs from the PvP faction server we were becoming and towards a brighter role play future, I am willing to sacrifice the Kandar to begin these amends. I admit we get trolly when there's nothing to do ICly mainly because we all get in TS then a massive pugsy war will start or we'll start shouting things out as jokes when other members are rping (Alot of the time you cannot see them), but yes we are serious when it comes to actual RP with a goal/task. I might be enjoying talking about Politics or Religion IC, and then someone shouts in my face 'AIRSTRIKE THIS FUCKER NOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!', I can't react to that, and more often then not, it ends in PVP retaliation. :/ So, Just be mindful. Boeindl running around in a speedo = Funny Spamming 'HERETIC CALL AIRSTRIKE' 8 times is not funny, just annoying to everyone except your friends. Helvetius 314 Share Posted April 3, 2014 Changing PvP default or telling everyone to cool it won't change the massive amount of PvP going on. Tis very simple. Number one: Ending the war will stop a good deal of intense pvp (Personally I like it just not when it lasts for 6 hours a day every day). Number Two: You actually have to be willing to play as a commoner instead of trying to rise to Grand Knight Sariant. Also there has to be someone either as a maer or tavern owner who strongly promotes normal, commoner RP.
