Problems with the Lore Team....this. No communication, evidentally.

 

Anyway, for this...WHY. How many times are you people (dark elf players.) going to demand you get something "special" for yourselves? Cyndikate wants a special powerful kind of magic, you want a special animal, some people want diety stuff.

 

You are a SUBRACE. If anything I think the Halflings should get some kind of special magic before dark elves do, since Dark elves are part of the ELF subrace.

 

You're already all super sexy, super strong (according to /some/ people), and can do backflips and stuff in some cases...what more do you want??!??

Sorry, this "Dark elves need something special!" thing is really pissing me off. They don't. They really, really don't need anything...their weird skin is more than enough, don't you think? 

 

That's...my two cents. I mean, the idea's nice and all, but the fact that this is because you want something "special" for you and your dark elf friends just makes me smh at it.

Um. I don't see a problem in it. It's a wolf. And don't you have a giant spider that eats people? Nothing is wrong with other people wanting to have something interesting and special for them. And considering this lore doesn't even require lore as it follows mech standard. I don't see the point in complaining or worrying about it. Let them do as they wish. And there won't be an issue. Or if you are really bothered by this make a feedback thread.

No, they're proposing this as a sub race exclusive. Orcs have Lur  wolves, sure...but any Orc, if they have the balls, can go and get themselves one and no on ewill look at them funny.

I play a Dark Elf , and I despise this already. We're not special , we never have been special. We're just like wood elves but with dark skin and more focus on children. That's it. We don't need special magic , wolves or even our own damn god.

People stop talking about it... It's a lore post about a gaint wolf that can be mouted and used instead of the tipical horse... Everyone with imagination or with eyes to copy from other games, movies, etc can do these things. If a player wants it, they can do it, if it doesn't break Mechanical Standard. If it was just ONE giant wolf for one player it would be allowed, it's for a race or a family, any one of those players can say their horse is a giant wolf, or they can say it's a horse, or even a bloody giant warhog. It's lore that they are creating for themselves. Follow her example if you want, the reason she has so many lore written is because she wants it. Take her example and if you want, follow it. Want something different for yourself or your group, check if it follows mechanical standard, and if it doesn, talk to a LM.

 

As for the no comunication between LM's, besides the fact that I allowed this before Connor was LM again, I didn't even have to allow it, it follows mechanical standard. We don't tell every member of the LM team that "Hey, I allowed this small roleplay detail." We also work for there not to be a whole lot of work in the LM. I accept these things on a daily basis, from players that ask me if it is in the Mechanical standard and if it doesn't break lore.
