Today, on the 25th of the Deep Cold, the Great Wyrm Setherien fell, struck by the Golden Lance.

His corpse gone forever... only the impact that he had upon this world and their people.

His servants gone...

His influence gone... the reason to fight him gone...

He is finally defeated...

And so it ends, years of pain and suffering at the receiving end dealt back to the evil 'God'...

And so it ends, all the torn apart families in war and destruction and corruption...

And so it ends, the reign of a mad God...

And so it ends, a terrible era for the people of this world.

What is next... none shall truly know...

But it will be something truly amazing.

Even though I moderated... that was fun. The storyline, while over, was incredible, with so many people putting so many hours of work into it to make it the best that it could be.

Whether Harbingers, Cultists, Moderators, Leaders, and even the occasional Wyrm, it was amazing. I'm just thanking all you folks that worked towards it, and all that participated in the event, even with the bumps in the road.

And so ends the Antagonist.

Crayfish Out

Also, this is by no means official, :P. I just wanted to express my gratitude to you guys. It was a fantastic story, and I look forward to more in the future.

Crud, I'm getting sentimental -.-

"The deed is done," says a man fighting for life.  He grimaces at his blade as the blood from the beast disappears into nothingness.  As he walks back home, he notices the glances between dwarfs and elfs, orcs and humans, Southeron and Northerner return.  The common cause was gone.  Old rivalries would surely spring up soon.  The dark skinned man sighed as he looked at his rusted chain mail armor.  It would be a long walk home.

Tylos sits down outside the Decterum keep after getting time off. He tosses his sword aside, takes off his helmet and smiles at the sun, saying, "At least for now, we are finally at peace. No attacks from other nations, and no attacks from Setherin."

He falls asleep in the daylight, completely forgetting all his worries.

There were definitely ups and downs in this current Antagonist but I would say that it was okay in the end. A change of leadership happened too often and the leaders selected were hardly capable save a few good choices whom left quite early. If there is another antagonist group planned for the future I hope whomever runs it or manages it takes notes and experiences from the Scourge so that they may not make the same mistakes.

Archibald sits on a grassy plateau near the Elven lands and prays, thanking any deity that the Scourge was vanquished from this realm. Now that life as he knew it was exempt from the terrors of Setherien, he looked to the sun. "And now we return to how it once was, I imagine...Constant wars, violence amongst the races, banditry," the young Sotheron said solemnly. He stood up from the ground and took his staff, Ferox, from beside him. He began to walk towards the direction of the nearest Elven settlement.

I do hope I didn't screw it up too badly for you folks. You were all excellent to work with, and all great RPers :D

The young would elf was forced onto the tree, his head kept high, despite the pain he had endured. He could only hear and see himself, now.

With his remaining arm, he would grip onto the top of his helmet, sliding it off gently.

"I am satisfied," he said, letting out his last breath.

Indeed, Luthien had thought it was a fitting end for his life.
