The United African Army

Gunshots rang out in the streets of Abuja, Nigeria's capital. The people had flooded out of their homes and managed to fill even the widest roads, making travel nearly impossible. The city was alive with joyous celebration, though there were surely some who falsified their emotions to avoid the unruly mobs that still roamed. Several pickups slowly made way against the living walls of Nigerians, the horns honking to the beat of a nearby drum. Soldiers of the successful uprising were clustered in the beds of the trucks. Those who were not holding firearms were holding up the bodies of several high ranking officials and dignitaries, their still warm blood glistening in the hazy midday sun. Their reign was over, and now their broken corpses were little more than trophies for the United African Army. The macabre parade continued into the central square, where they would stay long into the night. Any and all alcohol that could be found would be drank, in good spirit; there had been families that had spent most of their fortunes on a single bottle, all for this day. Because this was the start of a glorious new age. It was the day that Africa would be for Africans, the day these people would finally rise above the poverty that had held them down for so long.

Emeka Adeniji was seated in a small room without windows, a map of the African continent spread across the table. The parchment was held in place by a large knife, which was stabbed directly into the neighboring country of Chad. The giant of a man was surrounded by his advisers and personal staff. He wore a simple military uniform, bereft of any finery besides his medals. When he spoke, his voice was deep and gravelly, yet somehow it still carried easily across even the most spacious of interiors. In a cramped space such as this, his rumbling tone practically boomed.

"Today is a day of great victory. It is a day of celebration, and a day that will be marked in the history of a unified Africa. Yet we are the stewards of these people, and we have no room for festivals. Not yet. Not while there is still work to be done."

He smiled, his teeth unnaturally white against his dark skin. "And we have plenty of work to do." He then gestures softly, and the general's personal cabinet disperses with a creaking of chairs.

~Actions~

Trade requests are sent to Republicca Italiana, Indonesia, the United Lusitania Countries, Russia, and the Western Republic of China. Nations with food surpluses are encouraged to send what they can to the fledgling power. Any countries that need more convincing would be offered Nigeria's natural resources. The dependency on oil may have been dwindling, but it was still the lifeblood of many nations; especially those who couldn't afford the ridiculously expensive switch to alternate energies, and it was being offered in bulk in exchange for weapons and money.

The United African Army begins using its coastal defense craft to detain cargo ships that pass by their part of the coast. After doing a routine inspection, the coastal guards leave, but note the whereabouts of the ship as well as its path. The cargo ships that are especially vulnerable meet an 'unfortunate' piracy accident. These pirates seem to be very well trained, as well as discrete, making sure not to mess with any goods going to someone who might fight back.

The bulk of the Nigerian forces prepares to invade Chad. It is a blatant attack with intent to seize the nation, yet Chad is a war-torn hell, run by rogue warlords and pirate kings. The people certainly don't protest, and the absence of the UN has emboldened the UAA's mysterious new leader.

U.S Reaction Post:

President Sherman makes a statement about the tension between India and Indonesia:

"... to put it simply, Indonesia is a bully. It raises its military power and takes over stable sovereign states in its own interests. Its Imperialistic goals now threaten Malaysia, whom the Indians have protected with their own blood, and I highly commend their brave actions. I condemn any farther acts of aggression Indonesia takes in securing territories with its expansionist policies, and the United States of America stands by India, not as an ally, but as a brother. India is doing the right thing, and I hope it does not give in to Indonesia's foolish demands. I highly praise the government of India and its superb actions defending against imperialists. I also condone the actions of European leaders and their sucking up of Indonesia. I say this to President Guise: India has never done anything to be deemed as aggressive. Saying so won't change that fact."

The United States "recommends" news channels to show clips of President Henry de Guise 'sucking-up' to Indonesia, as a means of political bullying. Really, the new American Party feels closer to Russia, India, and the East, than it does to the Western Europe.

Russia

Belarus had fallen easily to the overwhelming numbers of the Slavic Union. It is an example to those who wish to stand against the Slavic Union. The troops move west towards the border of Poland and Hungary where they stay while a simple letter is sent.

"To the leaders of Poland and Hungary,

This is your opportunity to join the growing Union and remain prosperous nations. Your streets will be unstained with blood, and the economic help will boost your economies that had fallen with the loss of the European Union. This is your chance you make history for your country. Will you let many die for a vain cause, or will you seek a better country economically, militarily and politically?

-President Ivan"

The military alliance is accept with America as well as the mission to Mars. The two greatest militaries in the world ally and good terms are felt. The trade agreements are accepted with Africa as well for oil. Raw resources of timber, minerals and some food are traded in return. For now Russia will wait for the wars in the South East to play out. Even though it was on their border, few cities were there. The land was mostly a wasteland and would like to see the country stupid enough to take it.

The Western Republic of China

Hong_Kong_Grunge_Flag_by_think0.jpg

General Ng cursed under his breath, looking at the radio he was about to use to accept the peace offer. His generals had begun their arguing over battle plans, in unison calling for war. I will have to fight, if just to save face he thought to himself as he shouted out, "Call the reserves! Move our armies in to attack!"

The giant masses of Chinese troops and citizens roar in approval, demanding the blood of the Japanese that in the past slaughtered a hundred thousand in Nanjing and sought to rule China through conquest. Large parades are held in the various cities of Western China, and only General Ng seemed to wish for peace. The combined forces, led by high ranking Chinese generals, move to fight the Japanese and American army in Dandong.

WC/Manchurian Forces:

350,000 Infantry (All but 10,000 normal)

3,000 tanks

2,000 towed artillery

800 Fighters

In addition, Western China sends almost its entire fleet at the Japanese.

WC Naval Advance:

23 Submarines

200 Coastal Defense Craft

8 Destroyers

15 Frigates

3 Corvettes

400 Fixed Wing attack Jets

The Japanese charge out of Dandong finds itself in a swath of flat land, where they are surrounded by the massive, but slightly outdated armies of WC and Manchuria. As the battle commences, General Ng sends a message to the Empress of Japan.

Empress,

The forces you sent cannot win, and it is doubtful that sending any more will grant you victory. Your only strength is from a foreign power, and I hope you can see reason. I offer you peace once again, but this time you must relinquish control of my ally Manchuria's coastal city. I may have to bring Manchuria civilized order, but that must wait until this fruitless fighting is over. You may choose to continue this war, but it will not go well for you.

If the war is not ended quickly, Manchurian reserves and WC reinforcements will begin to fall in, numbering

1,300,000 infantry

3,000 towed artillery

2,000 tanks

4 Destroyers

The African Army's trade deal is accepted.

The USA is promised that The Western Republic of China will not touch Japanese homeland, and that if the war ends Western China will bring order to Manchuria. In return, it is asked that the US not interfere in the Chinese or Indonesian crises.

Chinese spies in Japan are contacted on encrypted networks and told to infiltrate the government.

With the cash flow from it's trade the ULC builds up infrastucture in all it's four nation.

It also starts building a war capable navy of 6 destroyers, 8 carriers and troop transports.

An alliance is sent to France

"To President Henry de Guise,

Europe must stand united. As the King of the ULC and a fellow European I speak from the heart when I say this.We need to unity, not like the failed EU but as friends. No forced imigration, no forced recession none of that. Not only would you have military support but also access to our ports and trade routes.

Europe must stand together.

King of the ULC Afonso VII."

A secret message is sent to India.

"To the President of India.

We have heard of the Indonesia agression. We offer you our help if it comes to war,The only things we ask is some ports after we win this war.Of course trade must flow.

The King of the ULC Afonso VII."

FOtkqY3.png"This is madness!" The Empress yells at the monitor she looks at, glaring at the scene. From an aerial drone she is shown the true sheer force that will be arriving as the battle continues on. "This is simply overkill.. There isn't a way in hell that we'll be able to do anything.." She huffs, turning around. Knowing Japan would be in uproar about either outcome, that of peace and that of death, she is faced with yet again another difficult decision. Yet finally, she comes to one.

After battling, Japan has lost a few hundred troops in the bloody combat that occurs. This causes the General to begin falling back into the City of Dandong, desperately trying to hold a footing there.

Militaristic Actions:

The Empress deploys the following, which would arrive in a matter of 12 or so hours, due to how close Dandong is to Japan.

Aircraft Forces

200 Fighter Jets/Interceptors

200 Fixed Wing Aircraft

175 Attack Helicopters

300 Transport Aircraft

Naval Forces

30 Destroyers

1 Aircraft Carrier

6 Coastal Defense Craft

16 Submarines

Infantry

900,000 Basic Infantry Units

Battle Tactic/Action:

Hundreds upon hundreds of Infantry are loaded up into Destroyers and Transport Aircraft. To ensure that these ships get to the shore safely, all deployed units are focused on guarding the transport. It would be up to them to get the Infantry to the shore.

Aircraft Moves:

After doing all they can to guard the transport of infantry to the coast, they would begin attempting to combat against W.C Aerial forces and ground infantry/vehicles.

Naval Movements:

After giving way for the Infantry to the shore, they would go back into the deeper waters and fight against the W.C Navy.

Infantry Movements:

The new Infantry goes to the inner city of Dandong, joining with the very few remaining forces that are there. The cloud of gray and red then begins pushing back out of the city.

((NOTE: All of these moves are hypothetical, figuring the transport gets there safely.))

After the days of deployment and preperation, the Empress responds to the Western Chinese forces,

"General,

My people desire the territory of Dandong. Our newfound militaristic culture would put us into shame for retreating like dogs with our tails between our legs. I formally apologize for the losses that our caused to your forces.

Best of luck to you,

Empress Kuzo."

Republic of India

Indonesia and his allies had played their hands, and Devi was able to read them like a book. So, they managed to get France and Italy, Devi though to himself. They were trying to flex their muscle, to bully India into letting them have their way. Italy seizing the recently bought ports and warehouses would do more harm then good. India could still freeze the account used to transfer sales, and they were bought so recently Indian companies haven't even arrived in force yet. France was not the simpering dog that Italy is, but still was by no means a predator.

The Indonesian deal is sent a reply.

"These are sovereign nations you speak of, and India is not the imperialist goon you perceive yourself and us to be. There will be no brokering for others rights, I will not tolerate letting you threaten and bribe India into passiveness. The Indian government has come to a decision, and that choice is war. We will not give you time to think or try to negotiate, even now the war effort is beginning. You and your european lackeys will not be allowed to start down a path of global imperialism, India shall do what is just."

The Indian navy guards the operation to land 20,000 troops onto the Malaysian peninsula, before heading out to ocean. The navy after finishing heads due north-east, until they are in strike range of the Northern tip of Sumatra island. Carriers launch flights to attempt to bomb Indonesian air bases before they can scramble, before engaging the ones that took to the air. The Indian navy would pound the coast with all weapons, targeting military positions as scouts from the air and sea marked them. The first wave of 3,000 took the beach, and began to move inland. The Indonesians would be relatively unable to assemble in numbers for at least the first few hours. Banking on this, the regiment tried to clear and secure a large enough area. Having cover from air by the ships, planes, and missile defenses, the army engineers set to work. The remaining 80,000 troops begin to unload in great masses, along with the vehicles. The first to hit land were the missile systems and engineers. They were set up to further increase the beachheads defense. A beachhead was effectively made....

A close eye was set on the straight, any Indonesian advance up it would be met. With the advantage of having the straight confine any attacking fleet, the Indian navy can effectively contain the Indonesians in it. The transports head back for India. In the homeland, the reserves and soldiers have finally been mobilized and supplied after so long. 500,000 of the army regulars camp at areas all alone India's east coast, awaiting transports to arrive. Just the tip of the iceberg, a further million troops are dispersed throughout the center of India. They would have AFV's and transports to relay them to where ever they could possibly be needed. Another 500,000 thousand reinforce forces already on the border with Pakistan. The remainder are put on stand by through out India. The border with the Western Chinese Republic is kept free of Indian troops, as a gesture of the hopeful continued policy of non aggression.

With the straight contained, and a beachhead established, the Indian's held a small but firm piece of land. The Indonesians would have to island hop troops into Sumatra, then march north. The 80,000 troops advanced as far as the range of naval guns before entrenching and building fixed positions. Some 20,000 kept advancing in armored column and were expected to meet the retaliatory Indonesian forces. They would not stand and fight, but attack and move, constantly using their tanks to shell enemy positions.

A Indian naval detachment heads into the red sea, consisting of two frigates, three destroyers, and two submarines. They would remain cruising at sea, and a close eye would be on the Suez. Any aggressive Italian or French movements would be halted dead as they tried to cross the narrow canal. This was not broadcasted, and the ships were there for 'protection of Indian trade interest'. More cargo turned troop transports and merchant marines picked up 100,000 men, Devi unable to wait for the homebound ones from Malaysia. They would set sail immediately and react to the situation.

A reply is sent to the United Lusitanian Countries.

"Your offer for aid is heartening, and India would call upon it now. Imperialist threaten the fragile balance of the world's nations, and we must quell it. I'd suggest two courses that would benefit us; Send naval forces immediately to India to help with the war effort, and keep a close eye on the French and Italians. They will no doubt claim I made the first attack, that I am evil, and so forth, until they talk their people into an unjust war."

A Response is sent to the U.S after their offers of support.

"I think that my proposition to shelf the chance of an ally has finally born fruit, and hope you still offer it. India will enter an alliance with the United States and if they will it, the Japanese. I ask that your combined naval forces sail to my aid, to deal with a Indonesian menace. You fought so long ago to hold the Philippines from the Japanese, now fight with them to give them independence. I however can not partake in your war with the West Chinese Republic, as long as the non-aggression pact stands."

As they finish the building of their warships the ULC starts building more soldiers.

They take inspiration from the USA and target the poor for the army. This way they remove poverty and have a decent army.

A message is sent to Japan.

The United People's Republic of Indochina

Premier Mihn stood atop a balcony, looking down on the adoring masses that had gotten him into this prestigious office. After decades of brutal civil war and ethnic cleansing on all sides, the south east Asian peninsula had had enough and turned to a new Popular Front known as "People for Themselves". Led by Mihn, who was a Vietnamese born Singapore official, the mmovementgrew and gained strength until a popular revolution broke out and toppled the governments of Vietnam and Laos. Myanmar was the next to fall, followed by Cambodia. Singapore decided to join the coalition rather than face external or internal threats. The people formed parliaments in each of the newly led countries and elected Mihn as the supreme leader of the new confederacy, which would be named the Glorious and United People's Republic of Indochina. It was time for a new power to rise on the world stage.

"People of a United Indochina, I appeal to you here not as your leader but as a fellow party member! Looking down upon your loving faces I cannot help but feel immense pride at the thought of guiding our country into the glorious era which awaits it! Let us begin now, with a week of festivities to be held throughout our prosperous nation! May Buddhisal watch over us, and may he light our path!"

After the festival ends, people return to work and their normal lives. Most of the people from the North enjoy a simple and enduring lifestyle providing agricultural and manufacturing goods to the rest of the nation. It is expected that these products will allow the government to fight starvation rampart in northern Myanmar region. Shrines are built throughout the land, dedicated to the god Buddhisal. Originally a radical offshoot of mainstream Buddhism it grew to take prevalence throughout the peninsula. It called for controlled bloodshed and devotion to be given in order to secure one's place next to Buddhisal in the realm of the afterword. It preached security and sovereignty over all else, and was soon adopted as the official state religion.

San_Jose_Tet_parade,_2009.jpg

Nationalism of a new kind runs rampant, comparable to that of the French after 1792 or that of the Germans after unification. This is greatly helped by the required and state run education as well as propaganda efforts throughout the peninsula. The local level democratic efforts and grass root organizations help instill a sense of national duty and pride in large numbers of new citizens.

The nation's wealth came in many different forms. The ultra important trade port of Singapore certainly helped, giving technical expertise and a good location for regulating exports and imports. Factories sprouted throughout the central flatland, mostly manufacturing goods and consumer items, but many are also reserved for the manufacture of arms and weaponry. Agriculture and harvest of natural goods in the North make up another part of the GDP. Technical institutes are also spreading, helping to bring some much needed brains back into the economy.

Vietnamese_soldier_01.jpg

The military is reformed. Due to current budget restraints, it is limited to 7 armored divisions, 9 mechanized divisions, an airborne division centered in the new capital of Hano-Sang and 8 independent artillery brigades throughout the coasts and one in Singapore. The traditional infantry is now constituted of reservists who are called up during emergencies by graduation class. Although some small arms are obsolete or old, the artillery remains the proudest part of the Ground Forces.

Firing_High_Mobility_Artillery_Rocket_sy

The Navy and Air Force are combined as one branch, and the majority sets out south to the straits separating the peninsula with Malaysia. Consisting mostly of destroyers and LCD cruisers, it might be small but remains a force to be reckoned with.

Due to the tensions which have began to boil over to the South, mot of the standing army is sent to guard the closest borders with Indonesia. The class of 2031 is held on alert, but not mobilized. To INDONESIA , a message is sent stating that any further aggression towards the Malaysians or any potential constituents of the confederacy will be regarded as an act of war.

India , a trade deal and possible military agreement is sent

Japan, declarations of luck in the war are sent to the Empress as well as talk of a potential trade agreement

U.S, talks of arms deals and possible trade agreements are sent

ULC, diplomatic channels are opened and declare that possible shipments of food would be available in exchange for trade and weapons.

Russia, talks of possible arms deals and trade is brought forth by diplomats.

South Korea, talks of trade and military agreements are sent

Regarding the declarations of Italy and France, the Premier simply state that:

"The French and other imperialists were here before, but we kicked them out. There is no doubt that we can do it again"

The Kingdom of Indonesia

indonesia_grunge_flag_w__coat_of_arms_by

And so it was India that struck the first blow, and it would not go unpunished. On the day of the attack, King Asrul speaks to a crowd in Jakarta.

"Even if we had committed far less well-reasoned acts than we did, this would be inexcusable. To attack while in the midst of peaceful negotiations is a crime that I will not forgive. The foreigners will pay with their lives!"
The crowd erupts in cheers and a chant of "Kill them all."
"From this day forth, until this mongrel 'President Davi' is nothing more than a corpse hanging from the walls of my palace, our purpose will be war. We will not back down. We will not yield. We will fight with unwavering passion and resolve, until the menace which now threatens our shores cannot make war any longer.

You may be larger than us, India, but not by much. You may be stronger than us, but not by much. You have chosen to fight on our land, under our guns and our bombs and our rockets. You have chosen to sail between our islands, far away from the safety of your homeland. If you fight us here, we will win.

Indonesia is ready. I am ready. So I ask you, President Davi: are you?"

Not an hour after the first Indian attacks began, the blitz of Malaysian Borneo began. 200,000 troops had been stationed on the island, and with artillery support they quickly overrun the defenders, quickly pressing to the coast. Once there, they surround and cut off remaining resistance, set up an occupation force, and mobilize the rest.

The Indian landing force met some early success: during the preceding year of tension, the northern end of Sumatra had been home to some 40,000 Indonesian troops. Under the initial bombardment, these forces had found it necessary to retreat to avoid unacceptable losses, granting the invaders a beachhead. But soon, this advantage begins to wane, thanks to the precarious position of the Indian navy.

It began first with missiles. The dozens of rocket batteries that had been set up across the northern edge of the archipelago opened fire on the Indian fleet, with longer-range launchers firing from farther away. Then, with the targets softened up, the Indonesian air force came in. After the expansion of the network of airfields, they could come from anywhere, and they outnumbered the small force brought by the Indian carriers 6 to 1.

After the first couple bombing runs over Sumatra, Indian pilots sudeenly find resistance, in the form of vast formations of Indonesian fighters. Losses are cataclysmic for those that attempt to fight, while to the north, more squadrons attack the fleet, targeting the carriers first.

As control of the skies over Sumatra is quickly wrested back into its rightful hands, Indian troops find themselves losing ground on Sumatra. The defenders push back, now reinforced by the southern half of the island, familiar with the territory, and supported by constant airstrikes. TNI divisions from all across the kingdom arrive every hour, pushing back with greater and greater strength.

The unguarded transports on their way to India are sitting ducks, as they attract the attention of Indonesia's pack of 12 submarines that has been guarding the west, unseen. In order to prevent Indian reinforcements from reaching Indonesia, they attack, sinking as many as they possibly can.

And and only when the Indian navy is nearly destroyed or in retreat, the Royal Navy groups up and sails into the strait of Malacca. It is comprised of 6 frigates, 20 corvettes, and most importantly, the now-finished 3 missile destroyers. Closing the supply lines on the foolish expedition, they too begin to bombard positions on Sumatra.

-----

As news of the attack spreads, the livid nation shifts into one built only for war. The reserves are immediately called up, and a draft is instated, though taking the many volunteers first. As legions of eager recruits are trained, the already-trained reserves, which bring the total active military force to well over 1 million personnel, move into their positions.

Production shifts into overdrive, especially with regards to the navy. Another 5 missile destroyers are put into production, along with a host of submarines, corvettes, and frigates. Vast air force factories are also constructed, and planns are made to double the existing air force in a timely maner. Long range missiles, launchers and artillery are produced en masse and quickly moved to the front lines and to the coastline.

To maintain an advantage, the king orders the creation of the CMR, the Commission for Military Research. Designed to identify the needs of the armed forces and meet them, the CMR is meant to be a means to put Indonesia at the forefront of innovation and keep her there.

Finally, 40,000 of the best the army has to offer are brought together to form the first division of Badai troopers. Meant to be an elite, fear inspiring force, they will with luck serve as the shock troops of the kingdom, ready for anything, and invincible.

Republic of India

The waves of Indonesian missiles were repulsed with the ground and naval missile systems, but casualties were still sustained. As it became clear an Indonesian attack formation was coming from the air, the navy set top speed to the ocean. Their fighters scrambled, and the aircraft remained close to the retreating Indian navy. Out of missile range, the navy and air force only had to deal with the Indonesian flights. The fight was a long battle with the Indians on the run, but eventually the Indonesians wold be repulsed or need to return for fuel.

The Infantry sat tight, told that the navy would come back for them. They crouched in fixed positions as artillery and missies hammered them. They fought off the beginning advances of Indonesians, and were actually gaining ground. But the Indonesians were rapidly moving, and reinforcements replaced reinforcements. The Indonesians were being killed off piece-meal, but finally the Indians were worn down. The last 30,000 pushed at one point in the Indonesian assault, and broke through. At the forced march, they managed to get out of naval range. Bunkering down in various places, they waited to make their final stand....

The Indian navy was by no means defeated, as pulling out of missile range saved many lives. The destroyers and other ships anti air systems were fending off the Indonesians air-force. Submarines are dispatched to harass the Indonesians as they bunch up in the straight. Aiming for the new missile ships, the submarines were expecting to make good kills with the Indonesians lacking so many submarine killers. The Indian navy remains out of optimum Indonesian air and missile range, and waits for the Indonesians to advance on them.

Like the Indonesians, the Indians step up the war effort, as it becomes apparent a hard war was to be fought. Money goes into a carrier, four frigates, and three destroyers to me made. Workers were not a problem, with many poor needing jobs. Factories in India start getting paid more to churn out tanks and AFV's, and India starts to buy arms and vehicles from it's many trade partners. A private military company is hired, India giving a contract to a sell-sail company. With 10 corvette class mercenary ships, India prepares to send the rest of their navy in. The transports heading unguarded from India were called back at the first sign of trouble. The other heading for India was unfortunately caught by the Indonesians.

3 Frigates, 6 destroyers, 30 corvettes, and 4 submarines prepare to set sail to aid the Indian navy already at sea. With them are transports loaded with some 500,000 troops. They set pace slowly, the submarines and destroyers on alert for the lurking Indonesian submarine pack.

République Français

Henry de Guise stood solemnly over an oval-shaped table facing his closest military advisors. Each one looked at their President with relative confidence, each of them having already presented their strategies to the President. He nodded and turned his back, looking over the monitor ahead of him. Several arrows and stars marked areas of attack on the designated target, the French President was fully aware of what he was about to do. The attack would begin shortly...

INVASION DAY - MARSEILLES

The fleet moved across the Mediterranean quietly as dusk spread over the sea that for centuries had seen warfare and blood spill into its time-worn shores. As they approached their target, artillery fire rang out and the above bombers shelled their targets. In a massive blitz of fire and blood, the first casualties of the inferior target collapsed into the Sea without much struggle at all. The Blitz of Algeria had begun...

The Foreign Legion stormed across the shores of the Francophone country, forcing entire battalions to surrender to their superior arms and discipline. They moved with precise and calculating speed. This invasion had been planned for several months with each phase of the first week being planned through step by step processes. The coastline of the country was secured within 72 hours and the first phase had been completed. Negotiations began with the Algerian government to form a provincial government similar to those which govern the separate regions of France.

TO CRUSH AN INDIAN

A task force of several ships departed the island of Sardinia just as the Algerian task force moved to capture the coastline. Using the chaos that would surely result from the invasion, the Sardinian force moved to secure the Suez Canal.

OOC  - INDIA

Your ships wouldn't magically poof in the Suez and I'm much closer so let's be realistic there bro

The force would move slowly through the Suez and secure the Gulf of Oman in order to threaten India should they attempt further aggression.

THE OMAN TASK FORCE

1 - Aircraft Carrier

8 - Destroyers

15 - Miscellanious Gunboats/Support (ie. Frigates, Cruisers, Missle Destroyers)

3 - Submarines

The South Korean Republic

President Park stood at attention, the flickering lights of Seoul catching his eye as he looks across the horizon. The country of South Korea had stood back for a while, watching the rest of the world fight amongst itself, but now it was time. It was  It was time to begin action. Sitting down at his desk, he begins to write.

Orders are sent to military leaders across the country to begin recruiting more soldiers to protect the homeland. Orders are also sent to factories to begin the production of artillery and naval ships and.

In the international front, free trade agreements are sent to most nations, with the message  "This shall benefit us all." put on the bottom of the rather long winded document.

A message is sent to North Korea demanding they halt their aggressive movements along the DMZ. ((Mod can reply to this))

To the Japanese government, a more private letter is sent.

[Translated]

Greetings, I am President Bae Park of South Korea. For many years, we have fought against our neighbors to the north, and tensions have always been high. However, it is in my interests to once again unite the Koreas. To do this, we need allies, which our foes do lack. I would like to propose an alliance between our two nations, and I seek good relations with whomever you are working with. Thank you for your consideration.

Another letter is sent to the US informing them of renewing past agreements and ensuring that their alliance remained strong. The Korean government also spoke of uniting Korea and seeking American support to unite Korea under a democracy and free its people from the tyrannic leader in the north. The Korean military also shows interest in possibly purchasing 20 old Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornets, three America-Class Amphibious Assault ships, and 100 M1 Abrams tanks from the US military to further boost the military might of the Korean Navy should the North Koreans prove to be a threat.

Finally, a reply is sent to Vietnam informing them that they would rather continue a steady improvement in reputation between each other to first understand the ideals of Vietnam before committing to a military alliance. However the request of a trade agreement is accepted with open arms.

The Kingdom of Indonesia

The battle had been won, but the war was just beginning. With the Indian navy in full retreat, the IAF presses the attack and pounds the withdrawing fleet from the air. They aim to sink as many ships as possible, with carriers taking priority, followed by destroyers and corvettes. They doggedly strike the Indians, and though strikes become less frequent as strike jets return for fuel, the fleet would have to move well to the west of India itself to be out of range.

Meanwhile, the submarine pack in the Bay of Bengal pursues the massive fleet of transports and warships. Due to the sheer size of a fleet large enough to carry half a million men, the escort is hard-pressed to protect the vulnerable troopships. Indonesian torpedoes come from seemingly out of nowhere, slamming into transports where defenses are weak. With each explosion, thousands upon thousands of Indian troops find themselves in a very bad situation. Each time, the attacker sinks deep below, away from danger by the time there even is a danger. At this rate, losses will be beyond tragic by the time the transports join the main naval group.

In the strait of Malacca, submarines are spotted on sonar--but not before a torpedo strikes one of the missile destroyers, instantly wrecking it. The fleet assumes a defensive position and backs off, skirmishing with submarines that get too close. The kingdom's extensive minelaying fleet begins to lay mines in the strait at many different depths, hoping to catch submarines while allowing surface ships to pass.

The mobilized troops on Borneo load onto troopships and are ferried across the sea to mainland Malaysia, where the blitz continues. The first contingent numbers around 50,000 and lands south of Cukai, accompanied by enough armor to push inland quickly and catch the remainder of the Malaysian army off guard. 12 hours later, an additional 50,000 men arrive slightly farther south to support the initial strike. Facing little resistance, the Indonesians are able to sweep west to the capital of Kuala Lumpur, where they demand the surrender of the Malaysian government.

The army on Sumatra pushes up the west coast and sets up defensive positions while remaining Indian forces in the interior are mopped up. A similar process happens on Java, as the nation presents a sharpened edge to the enemy. Bunkers, AA systems, and missile batteries are set up along the west coast of both islands, ready to fend off the eventual return of India. Special protocol is followed in some cases to prevent movements being spotted by satellite surveillance, the overall effect being to make the defenses look weaker than they really are. The final coup is the secret emplacement of ten Chinese DF-21 "carrier killer" missiles, recieved only months earlier from the King's northern ally.

Recognizing the need for submarine defense, the CMR revamps the design of the missile destroyers currently in production, engineering a state-of-the-art sonar system into them as well as a torpedo bay. To accompany the new design changes, work starts on a slightly longer term project to design an improved lightweight missile for use on these craft. Finally, on a separate project entirely, the CMR devotes some of its time and funding to developing advanced AI, which would have a myriad of uses.

With its newfound control over the sea routes passing through its territory, Indonesia cuts off trade going to and from India, cutting the ennemy off from one of the most traveled trade routes in the world. Any Indian ships found in Indonesian waters are seized immediately, while any foreign ships bound to or from India are detained and sent home. While the action harms India economically, it also has the added benefit of giving Indonesia a monopoly on any goods that were primarily transported through the area, assuming they are also produced within Indonesia's borders.

Brunei is peacefully offered a place as a semi-autonomous province of Indonesia.

The United States of America

As tensions escalated between Indonesia and India, America frowned. Surely, humanity was better than this right? Wrong. Even the United States played its part in the violence that erupted with its attacks on Manchuria, and now the lives of over 130,000 Americans was at stake. However, President Sherman knew the risks when he sent his troops there, and he hoped the pure numbers of the Japanese Infantry would help secure Dandong.

India, is once again, sent a request for a military alliance. Congress would not declare war on Indonesia, unless India and the United States of America were allies, and the U.S felt that India needed a friend in the war. Sherman, angry with French support for Indonesia, asks the French leader, Henry de Guise, for a meeting in D.C, around the same time he would be meeting with the Japanese Empress. In fact, the leaders of Russia, India, France, Japan, West China, Indonesia, and the United Lusitanian Countries, would all be invited for a diplomatic meeting in America's capital, to discuss the future of the world and to prevent war crimes.

In the homeland, the American people and Congress are growing frustrated with the war in Manchuria, and support for it dwindles. President Sherman is seen as a war-mongerer ((but srsly tho, what American prez isnt?)), and for the first time since his election, he begins to lose support. The American population begins to favor India, and sees Japan as a weak-link. One such speaker, Governor Henry Baker of Texas, speaks out openly. With a southern accent, and a cowboy hat, he starts.

"Now, ya'll tell me. Why risk our sons in the front lines so that some do-goody Empire can grow as Military Imperialists? Can we not remember, these our the same people that attacked them naval bases in Pearl Harbor, throwin' us into WWII? The same people who was our mos' dangerous enemy in the second world war? The same people who tortured our POWs and killed and wounded over a million of Americans? And now, we support them in their conquest of China, who not only helped us during that war, but are still tryna' make the peace with us? I say we cut the crap with Japan! I say we listen to the reason that Western China has! I say we put our troops elsewhere! I say we instead respond the the Caliphate's decision to kill our men and women and to the Indonesian government for attacking a fair and stable state! Japan has nothin' in store for us - half o' them have no love for America. SUPPORT FOR SOUTH KOREA. SUPPORT FOR RUSSIA, and INDIA. SUPPORT FOR THE LUSITANIANS! SUPPORT FOR FREEDOM!"

His powerful speech is cast all over the news. Although both Baker and Sherman are political independents, they have different views on foreign policy. Sherman's political rating drops to 46%, and he sighs, acting on the views of the American people. Sherman tells Japan that Congress will not approve any more aid into the Manchurian region military-wise, however the past aid it sent will continue to be stationed there. West China is contacted. Congress has enacted a treaty that will hopefully create peace and stabilize the area.

Treaty of Dandong:

American Compromises:

- The United States of America will not declare war on West China, since West China did not move past Dandong.

- The United States will stay out of Chinese and Japanese affairs.

- West China will occupy the territory of Manchuria, since the unstable government there was the first aggressor.

Chinese Compromises:

- The United States is free to ally/aid the foreign state of South Korea.

- Japan holds the city of Dandong and surrounding suburbs

- The United States is free to aid India in their war with Indonesia

- West China will not attack the sovereign state of Japan, unless Japan attacks first.

-=The Signature of the President is Below=-

-=An empty spot is left for the signature of the Western Chinese leader=-

The United States accepts the South Korean offer, continuing all past treaties.

Russia is asked to send troops to Puerto Rico, where the two countries can have joint military exercises, and strengthen their bond.

France is told to withdraw its troops from the Suez Canal - the United States doesn't state any consequences or rewards.

Requests with Indochina are reviewed and accepted.

Indonesia is told to withdraw and surrender to India.
