At the Conference, President Sherman shoots a few glares at the European nations, and smiles at Devi and the UAA leader. He waits for Devi to answer to President Henry's question.

In response to the funding of the SSAU (Socialist South American Union), the U.S places its own sanctions on Europe. Heavy tariffs are placed on exporting food items to places like France, and Private Military firms are barred from selling to Western-European nations. Although America will take a blow, the European-American bilateral trade is nearly balanced, and with each being in a recession, their economies would slow down and they would take a blow as well. American lawmakers thinks this would help the U.S from cutting off European dependency.

Republic of India

Devi looks at King Arsul, a look of concern on his face.

"You are referring to history, and by trying to justify violence on what the living generations have done is preposterous. If you justify more war for what I brought to you, then what do you think that would make yourself being as you invaded so many? I want to end the violence, and if you make reasonable terms I shall not try to argue it."

The French aide speaks, and Devi gets a look of outrage on his face.

"Though it is true regiments of Indian troops are on the border of Pakistan, they have remained entrench on Indian soil. We respected the Islamic Caliphate's warning to not intervene, and only sent aid workers. Even soldiers were denied to go with them. Where as we are only protecting our borders from the infighting spilling over, you have done far far worse. Conquering another people no matter their status is not taking precautions and diplomatic moves to ensure your own people's safety. No threats have been made, no shots fired first at the Pakistani."

With the economic strain, parts of India's reserves were called off duty. Clipping the army size to two million, India instead focused on quality troops. More were inducted into the Ghorka corps, and further infantry and vehicle regiments received newer equipment and supplies. More people were given jobs as the Indian government gave subsidies to factories to start producing goods the Indians were cut off from.

Needing a fast and deadly attack craft for the Ghorka commandos, a new type of airship is commissioned for production. Officially called the HV-0NET, the air forces promised the new helicopters dubbed it the 'Hornet'. As designs and production began, and crew were trained to fly it, it was expected to take (4 pages).

République Français - Reaction Post

President Henry laughed as he had invoked exactly the response he had hoped to get from President Devi, testing his volatile nature. A smirk creeps across his face as he motions for his aide to sit down, standing up himself and straightening his fine two-piece suit. He checks his watch and then examines the faces of each of the world leaders. This had been the first major conference the President had attended and his first true showing of his diplomatic prowess.

"You are very anxious to attack my people Monsieur Devi, perhaps you should take a seat and relax for a moment while I explain the intentions of the French government."

The President chuckles a bit, nodding to his advisors as he prepares his next words carefully.

"Gentlemen, I will not attempt to sugarcoat these words. While the French people are grateful to the American government for their liberation following the second World War, that debt has long since been repaid and the French government and people have no obligation to be the lapdog of the United States, and neither does the rest of Europe.

The nations of Europe have made a resounding commitment to unity and prosperity as we have agreed to trade and military agreements that rival that of any international pact in all of history. Perhaps the United States does not understand that by cutting off trade with our nations, that he effectively shuts off nearly one-half (44.6%) of his total imports while we lose only 14.2% of our estimated trade to your restrictions. Perhaps you would like to rethink your pitiful attempt at wounding our nation as it will do much harm to you than it will to us.

The European nations are also fully capable of filling this void as new trade partners rise in Indonesia and United Africa who the French formally recognize as a nation and have recognized it for several months now. As such we formally announce a resounding new free trade deal with the nation of Indonesia that will effectively fill the void left by the United States. Any attempt to hinder this trade shall be considered a declaration of war on all participatory European nations (Italy, Germany + Satellites, France, Sweden + Satellites).

President de Guise nods to the assembled leaders, taking his seat and again checking his watch as he watches the faces of each of the world leaders, especially that of King Asrul whom he had been particularly interested in meeting face to face. His advisors begin to whisper into his ear about the progress of several research projects which had been undertaken.

The Kingdom of Indonesia

Asrul motions to the two belligerent delegates to settle down, subtly smiling at de Guise, and addresses Devi politely.

"I do not mean to base my actions on history alone, but only to point out that you owe your success to similar actions. Surely India would never have grown to be a great country if nobody had united it."

He straightens in his chair and looks the Indian in the eyes. "Now, I am as interested in peace as you are, but you must understand that my country has been gravely insulted by your actions. Even now, my people call for your head on a stake. While I would like to, I cannot simply forget what has happened." He turns to the rest of the room. "If there is to be peace, India must show that it is committed to it. I therefore ask the following: first, that India relinquishes all claim to the Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh regions, which will hencefoth be considered the sole territory of China. Second, India will withdraw all military forces from the Pakistani border."

The king takes a breath, and continues.

"Third, I ask that because India claims to be a peaceful country only interested in self-defense, that it make good on this assertion. Unless India is directly attacked, its defense force must not exceed 1 million personnel, and more importantly, its navy must maintain positions necessary for the direct defense of the country. This area is to be defined as north of the equator, west of India's coastal border with Bangladesh, and east of the Gulf of Oman. Our navy will in turn not trespass in this area as long as the treaty is upheld." He turns to President Sherman. "In addition, the presence of US naval forces to our east is of great concern. It is time for you to leave Asia, Mr. President. We have for this long avoided conflict, but your willingness to move forces close to Indonesian territory worries me, and if we are to put this much trust in an alliance that brazenly invaded our homeland, then I will need assurance that we will not be stabbed in our collective backs. Transfer your bases in the South Pacific to Indonesia, and in return these island countries will not be forcibly annexed nor threatened. If your aim is truly to protect them, then I assure you we can be just as good at it."

He leans back, finished talking.

Back at home, everything is going well. While the economies of India, the US, and the ULC stumble in the face of a total trade blackout, Indonesia's soars. Indonesian corporations jump at the opportunites opened up by the new global situation. Filling the gap in Western Europe left by the Americans proves very profitable, while thriving commerce takes place both to China and across the Pacific, where American companies starved for foreign goods are nearly forced to buy. With the army held at a steady 3 million troops, the government has warily loosened some of its rationing and allowed the free market to run its course...with the understanding that the fight may come at any time. Jakarta has become a booming metropolis, with skyscrapers expanding outward from the original downtown. A new location for the royal palace is chosen on a hill near the center of the city that has not been built on just yet, and plans for a grand, impressive complex are set, complete with a vast garden which will cascade down the hill towards the city below.

A further 5 Vengeance class missile destroyers finish production, with the next set immediately under construction. They set sail and join with the rest of the fleet. Elsewhere, another 10 submarines have been completed, though surface ships have been put on hold. These submarines set sail into the Bay of Bengal. With the naval yard in Australia set to be complete soon, the existing shipyards in Indonesia begin refitting to produce a different array of ships.

The army continues to run drills, practicing beach landings and defense against said landings. Many divisions are able to train in Australia as well as on the main islannds, and slowly the general army becomes proficient at fighting in all types of terrain.

The CMR reports that the AI project is nearly complete. Initial designs of practical implementations are discussed. Having by now obtained intelligence that certain Indian army regiments are being given carapace armor, designs are quickly drawn up for a new standard issue rifle: a modified version of Singapore's SAR-21 optimised for armor-piercing ammunition. Priority for distribution would go to the Badai corps, but it would not take long before enough were made to arm the entire army.

The People's Republic of Sweden

After hearing of the US' attempt to bully his people, Karl Bjorkson sends an open letter to the US government:

"The Swedish people will NOT pay this so-called fine. No such thing was ever agreed upon or discussed. We will not be fools, we see through this thinly veiled attempt to force Sweden to your will. Nor will we be docile cattle, you will not beat us into submission. Sweden bends its knee to no foreign power, least of all one that has been decaying for years now, yet hopes to cling on to its old supremacy. Should the USA take action or arms against Sweden for refusing to pay a fine that has been dreamed up, it will onl serve to show how far the USA has fallen."

Support for the growing socialist revolutions continues, and the amount of aid to such groups steadily increases.

Relations with INDONESIA open, and Sweden sends them a trade offer and a defensive alliance offer.

Quick Reply:

Premier Mihn slowly rises, finally ready to speak.

"I believe that as my country shares borders with both India and Indonesia, it is fit for me to adress this issue. Our diplomatic and political systems have failed us. Why should Asians go to war with Asians? If we came together under some sort of greater co-prosperity sphere, our population would be larger than China's, our economic output double that of the US and Western Europe, and our military power would be unrivaled throughout the world. Think of the possibilities for technical, engineering, and scientific advancement! Hell, our nation's names each start with "Ind" too. By Buddhistal's graces, we should forget the war and come together, and dominate the east."

After these few words, the Premier sits back down, waiting a response from the Indian and Indonesian leaders.

GERMANY

Chancellor Hans Wulfgang stands at the conference, having walked in 10 minutes late. He waits for most of the conversation to die down, before projecting his surprisingly aggressive voice across the hall.

"India is threatened by Indonesia's expansion, and the United States supports them. But Germany is threatened by Russia's expansion, and the US encourages the Red Bear! I don't understand how such a scale of hypocrisy could have been achieved. I understand, the Russians absorbed many countries due to their so-called failing economies, but answer me this: when EU countries came to us for economic aid, did we only accept if they were annexed into us? Was Greece taken over by the Germans? Was Spain taken over by the Germans? No.

It's even more despicable that Russia's president could not even be bothered to keep up the lie about failing economies and peaceful annexation, as even now threats are being sent to Poland, Hungary and almost every neighboring country to this new sham of a Russian empire, with their 'join or die' policy. Many of the people now in Russia's claws still fight for independence, such as in Ukraine and the Balkans. Will the United States implore violence, war and enslavement?"

As tensions rise, Hans and his military advisers take a second look at the German army. After the recession, economic crash and strain from the collapsing of the EU, it had shrunk to little over 110,000 men, in reserves and actively. It needed a reformation, a more organised, strong army, capable of working as one unit, or hundreds. New plans are drawn out and put underway.

GERMAN ARMY REFORMATION

Concept ideas for a new standard infantry uniform had been tossed around for years, with the current ones being outdated since around the 2010's, still using kevlar plates only to cover the vital organs. Now, however, German developers along with various scientists see a way of creating a more protecting body armor without impacting the agility of a soldier. The BZK standard infantry uniform is a mix of third generation armor plating covering most of the body and advanced nano-material in weak spots to protect against burns, slashes, explosions and low caliber small arms fire using technology studied by NATO scientists in the late 2010's. The material would send out short range electrical pulses to detect on coming dangers from 2 inches away and stiffen before impact to absorb most of the damage delivered to the wearer. However, the nano-material would only take 1 minute and 46 seconds of sustained damage from a bunsen burner before holes were discovered in the cloth, or two hits in roughly the same area before it was punctured. The added weight, weighing nearly 60 pounds in armor alone, is supported by a light weight exoskeleton modeled off of the american Berkeley Lower Extremity one, but produced to use less power. The exoskeleton system has two hydraulic leg braces that include 40 electronic sensors, a monitoring computer and an internal-combustion engine. The exoskeleton is attached to the legs of the soldier and allows for backpack loads upwards of 110 lbs to be carried with ease.

It relies on a series of pressure, gas and water valves to source it's ability to carry the extra weight. In the helmet, there is a respiratory system able to keep the soldier alive inside noxious gas for a little over 10 minutes, using a complex air recycling system.

A new standard issue rifle is commissioned, influenced heavily by the HK-416 and 417 models. The BR-762A1

shares a lot of things with the HK417, mainly, the gas piston system.  Beefed up for 7.62x51mm/.308 Winchester, the piston operates just like the 5.56x45mm/.223 Remington original, and has proven to be just as durable and reliable.  Like most piston-driven rifles, it does weigh a little more than your standard AR-10 or HK417, at 9.94 pounds, or about a pound more than the other two rifles. This is because this rifle has a heavier, accuratized barrel. Ambidextrous operating controls are standard on the MR762A1, including a convertible charging handle and an ambidextrous selector lever. The MR762A1 uses the same 10 and 20-round translucent polymer box magazines made for the HK417; a 30-round magazine is also under development.

The Middle-European-Treaty-Organisation (or METO) is formed, consisting of Poland, Austria and Hungary. The French, Graecians and Italians are also invited. Entry to this organisation would pledge full military and economical support, as well as defensive and trading alliances.

1250 German-Arab men and women are recruited by the German government and are taken to a remote base in Chile. This is unknown to everybody but Wulfgang and his associates.

Republic of Greece

The single shot fired in the palace - the Emperor was dead. Despite the mobilisation of nearby security forces he could not be saved. Upon the death of the last of the royal line the Graecian parliament went into an immediate vote on what to do with the government - a return to the republican method won by a majority of over 25%.

With the recent election of Alexios Nikephoros as President, several immediate changes were made to the country:

-The offer of Germany to join the METO was accepted

-A force was mobilised to the northern border with Macedonia was mobilised, consisting of:

-77,600 frontline infantry;

-250 tanks;

-Roughly 700 AFVs;

-100 fighters;

-100 transport craft;

150 helicopters;

-And 8 submarines were mobilised in Athens.

-This force was to send a message to the countries of Macedonia and Albania demanding they either submit to Graceian hegemony or be destroyed. ((MOD NEEDED))

-To accompany this a period of military expansion begins, with order for the construction of two aircraft carriers to begin, and to finish by 2036, and for a period of recruiting and propaganda to be entered.

-To strengthen the economy to support this requests for trade are sent to USA, China, Japan, Italy, France, and Germany

The Kingdom of Indonesia

King Asrul has a chance to answer Minh before the German enters.

"A well thought out and fair suggestion, and under normal circumstances I would jump at the chance. However, given the situation I refuse to put such trust in my enemy's dedication to peace. If any such union is formed, it would have to be under Indonesian administration, and I doubt that appeals to either of you."

ArgentinaFlagImage1.pngThe Argentine Republic

Uruguay had finally fallen. After several months of steady advances, the Argentine Armed Forces had finally met proper resistance when the Uruguayans fell back into their capital Montevideo, their backs to the sea and ready to make a last stand. Continuos air strikes and artillery barrages had not been sufficient to demoralize and kill the stubborn survivors and so a surprise attack was launched instead. The 4th army group, consisting of about 10,000 soldiers had boarded Argentine naval vessels further down the coast and in the middle of the night stormed the beach of the city in coordination with the 1st and 3rd army groups attacking from the city's other main entrances. After heavy fighting for several hours the Uruguayan command finally surrendered, realizing its doomed state and accepted the Argentine terms of annexation. As around 70,000 soldiers sweep the country clearing rebels and resistance and maintaining order, Presidente Peròn appears before a crowd, declaring that the time of Greater Argentina has finally come. Uruguay is only the beginning.

As the active frontline personnel reaches a new 150,000, a new army group is assembled, consisting of 20,000 of the veterans from the recent war, many fresh from the battle of Montevideo. This group, called the 'Portadores de sol' or simply 'Portadores' for short will be the core of the army, the best supplied and most experienced, recruiting only from soldiers with experience or who show impressive talent. Recruitment of normal infantry continues as nationalism keeps rising and the vehicles and tanks lost in the battle for Uruguay are replaced with newer models of the destroyed tanks, sometimes customized or with slight modifications from the original tank/vehicle bought. As soon as the Sol-1 starts production the few jets lost in the conquest will also be replaced.

As the other countries of the globe initiate their own weapon and armour projects and production, so does Argentina, beginning work on a new locally produced carbine, compact and adaptable to numerous different scopes and add-ons and designed to pack a much harder punch than previous rifles, to penetrate armour and pass through objects blocking the bullet's path. The extremely customizable rifle will be perfect for the variating combat of South America where mountains, jungles and plains are all battlefields that the Argentine forces will have to adapt for. The new carbine will be named the Pòn-11 and is scheduled to take around ((4 pages)).

The Argentine economy gradually grows as investors search for new cheap manpower and factories to produce their products after the blockades and tensions in Asia and the West forces them to look elsewhere for investing. Presidente Peròn welcomes the founding of new companies and factories by offering lowered taxes and prices for foreign investors looking to buy land and establish their company in Argentina.

Diplomatic negotiations with the growing Indonesian superpower is begun in secrecy, proposing a defensive alliance and trade agreements for the better of the two nations. The diplomats sent to Jakarta also present the possibility of sharing researched weaponry designs in the near future. If the proposed agreements do not meet the Indonesian state's expectations or wishes a counter-offer would be considered.

Presidente Peròn begins the expansion of Buenos Aires, maintaining the historical architectural style of the city by putting in stricter maintenance laws and by encouraging the Argentines to embrace both modern and previous history through propaganda and campaigns. In the outskirts of the city new and more modern architecture starts to sprout up, slowly creating a city with a calm and historical architectural style in its core surrounded by more modern and evolving districts, creating a unique feel for the city. Hopefully this will encourage pride and tourism and centralize the population further.

EDIT - MOD NEEDED:

A peaceful proposition is sent to the nation of Paraguay proposing that it be joined with the nation of Argentina. The countries' linguistic and historical similarities are pointed out and the country would retain limited local autonomy under the rule of the Argentine. No threats are mentioned but troops and vehicles are moved towards the Paraguayan border with little secrecy, implying what might await it the nation if the proposition be denied.

USA Reaction Post:

As Sherman keeps listening, annoyed, a man walks into the room and whispers something in his year. Sherman's eyes widen, and two bulky secret service agents enter the room. Frantic and teary, Sherman screams, "No, no, you can't do this to me!" He is dragged off, and another man steps into the room, smiling. It's Vice President Henry Baker, the  former governor of Texas. "Sorry about that. President Douglas Sherman was just impeached fer commitin' villainous acts of treason. I'm the new representative and soon to be President now. Shall we continue?"

Asrul raises an eyebrow at the man who now sits across the table from him.

"Vice President Baker, I presume? I am Asrul Kapur."

He sizes up the man. Not much was known about Baker, but perhaps he could be negotiated with.

Baker regards Asrul and smiles, "Ah, his Majesty of Indonesia. I am so sorry for what the actions of the Sherman administration have cause your country and all of the world for that matter. We were all fed up with Sherman, but when he decided to embargo Europe, we were done. Not only did he try to put us to ruin, but he severed out relationships with some our former great allies. We simply could not have him runnin' this delegation and continuing to put us into the path of destruction. So you assumed correctly, King.

Now, let us get up to speed shall we? I'd like to address a few things.

The United States is cutting off all military alliances from all countries. We would like to presume some, and we can work that out in this session. We should work as fast as we can to resolve the extremely annoying issue in Asia. To European nations, I apologize for our previous administration's support of Russia. We would like you to view us as friends once more. A decade ago we were military allies. Now, we are just bitter rivals. We hope that you see fit to lift the embargo so that our nations can collaborate. Let us have peace for once. The U.S will stay neutral in the conflict between India and Indonesia until their conflict is resolved. And all of our assets, politicians, and delegates are being pulled out of the Islamic Caliphate. I urge India to pull out of the conflict and instead focus on their biggest worry, the Caliphate. No matter how much India and Indonesia hate each other, their time would be better served working together as a single and powerful ally.

Any questions?"

Asrul can't help but smile as he acknowledges and turns toward Devi.

"No questions, but I would like to ask that in addition to the terms previously outlined, that India's navy shall not henceforth exceed 200,000 tons. It would help put my citizens at ease."

Letting his face return to its usual expression, Asrul turns back to Baker.

"A wise choice, Mr. Vice President. I'm sure the situation between America and Europe is just an easily-resolved misunderstanding, although President de Guise may have his own opinions."

The president of the Korean Republic twiddles his fingers as he hears of this news.

"Oh? So the US is cutting its alliances with us? I presumed the decades of friendship meant something far greater than a simple alliance since the Korean War."
