King Arn, Divider and Destroyer of Humanity On eve of the near year, 1489, King Arn I. of Aesterwald created the schism of the Church of the Canon, declaring that High Pontiff Daniel I., is a pretender, heretic, and illegitimate. Furthermore, he declared a choosing of a new Pontiff by his own hand and desire, rather than the clergy that joined this ‘schism’, which numbered very few to almost zero. King Arn I. has single-handedly, as an uncrowned king, destroyed the only unifying factor between the split human lordships and kingdoms, bringing humanity to worse position than the Era of Five Kings or the Age before Godfrey. King Arn I. has even gone further by reforming the dreaded Zionist pact that waged war against the Chivay Dynasty for nearly their entire reign. Such an act would only display how blood-thirsty such a man has become, having no regard for his fellow man but rather drools for power like a dog on heat. He sends men like cattle to be slaughtered by the faithful Canonist men, defending their homelands from the invading dwarves and orcs. But Arn I.’s mistake do not end there. But what of the land of Aesterwald itself? King Arn I. has led its people onto a downfall; the once boisterous city of Vanderfell becoming a shell of its former self. The only inhabitants anyone can find within its walls is the seldom soldier, not something fit for the capital of the Northern Realm. Shops stand abandoned, houses in despair. Vanderfell now stands as a shell of its former self. But instead of solving the ever-stacking problems, Arn I. focuses on war alone, sending the small population of northerners left die south of the Picatoris. You may ask, what are the reasons Arn I. does such a thing? He must have a stable answer, yes? But sadly, his only excuse (which he has beaten like a dead horse) is that the Carrions must be stopped. That the Raevir culture has oppressed and still is oppressing the realm of mankind. When was the last time one has seen a Carrion? The Raevir now sit on the last bastions of House Vladovich and the Kingdom of Akovia, hundred of miles away from Vanderfell or any hold owned by Arn I. What does he have to fear from the evil Raevir he claims to threaten Aesterwald? Henceforth, that is why I, Prince Otto Arius Rovin von Aesterwald, Privy Seal and Master of Law of the Kingdom of Aesterwald, CONDEMN and SPIT upon reign of ‘King’ Arn I., his heretical schism, his league of corrupt nobility, and his nature to destroy the realm of mankind and what the Exalted have worked so hard to achieve.
