The Grand Hunt For Lore Goblins

Eh. I've been around for quite a while. Quite a while indeed.
I've seen old hats come and go. I've seen our title transform into that of old fart after a few years, and I've been around through every single mayor change the server has suffered in the past 3, almost 4, years. I'm not precisely sure as to what is expected in an LM, but I can confess, and many can verify, I'm an open-minded, clear-minded, relaxed individual with an urge to create new and, more often than not, refreshening and amusing ideas for role-play.
My OCD keeps me from creating biased or unbalanced ideas, and my morals make sure they don't break any existing lore nor give unfair advantages when it comes to character lore. However, and more often than not they're almost perfectly (perfection is not a thing) balanced and enjoyable. I am obsessed, yes, with the creation of lore for even the smallest things. I'm obsessed, as well, with the preservation of the base/old lore, and the proper adaptation of new lore to the old one to keep things running smoothly.
On my mind, the goal has always been to do and create things that make people have a great time. Things that spark their interest to continue role-playing.

Having role-played a once well-known bard during Aegis, a large part of my roleplay consisted of interacting with new players and many characters who knew little about the world they had woken up in. Naturally, I had to be well acquainted with the lore, and I'd often come up with legends and myths to spice things up. People loved it. Needless to say, I was also one of the first few people to make player driven events. I specialized in the lore for them, the plot that drove players interested in reaching the end of the story to reveal the truth.

In fact, perhaps I could help in the practical side of things. Lore that goes into motion immediately through RP in the IC part of the server. Could be pretty interesting.

Cheers!

My contact information is available within my forum profile.

Edit:   Also, I don't drink coffee. Though I'll gladly accept a cup of Earl Grey, hot.

Who am I fooling. I don't need caffeine to write nor stay awake. Music is my life elixir.

I'd love to try out to be an Lore-master - given if I'd be deemed useful.

Anywho - I'm extremely interested.

I'd be interested, though I have not written lore for this server I have helped some people write it as well as helped write events and such for the ET. I have written lore and other such things for other places though and would be willing to show it if needed. I would like to think I am a competent writer and suited enough for this position, though I am sure there are others that are better then I. With only having two classes this semester I will have time enough to help with writing and the like.

*would sip her coffee happily and nods to herself* I am willing to to join the Lore Masters, since writing lore is something I'm quite good in. Being a young writer has its perks sometimes. Here's how to contact me, good sir and I shall await your response. -would proceed to hand a slip of paper with contact details over the table-. Oh and sir, the coffee is simply splendid! Although, I do prefer a good cup of tea or green tea.

(If I somehow sounded British, this is why I should never drink tea when writing something OOC. Still, I now await contact.)

Consider this post my kindly throwing my name into the bowl! Allow me to explain. I've been around for a long time. Not only do I know lots o' lore, but I also maintain the historical context and precedence to go with it all. I'm sure a good few current LMs can vouch as to my expertise RE: certain subjects. It might also do well to say that English linguistic mechanics and the architecture of fictional literature are my areas of expertise, and that I make writing deadlines for a living. (Plus, lore is interesting and fun and gives me an avenue with which to improve my own writing skills through doing what I like to do.)

How do you mean?

I got a bunch of candidates together (including you), got you all to do stuff, passed it up the chain for some people to get recruited and then nothing happened. Hopefully the new LT is more functional when it comes to recruitment than the old one was.

Having acted as one to develop lore ideas for the ET during the whole of my term as management, and having written innumerous pieces of detailed lore in the past - such as Wraiths, Redstone intricacies and other various concepts - I would like to suggest myself as a candidate for such a position. Most lore I have submitted were either too broad or without proper reference for acceptance, but other work would likely portray my dedication to this server regarding it's written histories.

Written by hand and not having been published in the forums is a personal collection of world-lore developed solely by myself and in a notebook during the time in which I was on hiatus from my managing duties in the ET and activity in the community. This work has spanned so far for 40 pages that consist of stories of ancient dragons (that I recently discussed with Viper about), a race of Giants whom hold close ties with Druidic relations and the following of the first Wraith of Aegis, whom survived the plight of it's brethren even past their destruction of the first land.

This effort of mine, and the support of others, would show I am a capable figure to assume the role of LM. Such a thing is what I've been trying to work toward for some time now, though to no avail, as per complications with the team in the past.

My Skype is notxephos if I am ever to be contacted for this. Alternatively, I may be PMed on the forums here as I browse them actively.

I wish to be an LM and be the successor to the lore super engine Lago.
