A High Elven genocide by the Wood Elves? What High Elven genocide was committed by the wood elves, when? Because it definitely wasn't during the siege and taking of Annil'sul.

The High Elves had abandoned the city long before and fled to Petrus, and while Rusk'Dom had indeed ordered the murder of all high elves Phaedrus did not. He instead set up a court to all those that might choose to stay within the city, offering full citizenship and the likes to those that asked for such. Elorna did much the same, and those that had no affiliation with the political or military arms of the silver state were given political immunity from their superiors.

So the nature of these claims is nothing but a fallacy and while you lie to the international community, Mali, your men fire from their plateau into the streets maiming mothers, children and men alike of any race so that High Elves may decieve their own children that this group committed a genocide against your people.

Under the rule of the naysayer we were second class citizens, the meatshield of the high elves as the uruk and dwarves raided us daily for the crimes of our overlords who lived above us. Our children were thrown into acid because their parents loved outside their race, and our men and women murdered for expressing opinion.

We rebelled because we were treated like animals. And now we are free. We will stay free.

The Republic of Laureh'lin will remain a completely autonomous state, free in it's political, military and economic affairs. Any and all offers made while the psychopath Kalenz Uradir is in power will be ignored and disregarded.

When Haelun'ors leadership changes into more peaceful hands, negotiations will begin again.

Phaedrus is the hero who set us free.

Elorna fought hard for our rights under your iron rule, she tried to better our situation peacefully. Perhaps you should have listened to her.

Myself? I plan no genocide on your kind. It seems you are the one intent on subjugating us.

Your reputation is too tarnished, naysayer. We know your tricks and we will not fall into your trap once more.

This is the will of the people.

Andraesh nods his head in agreement, preparing to gather materials for the incoming war.

Kalenz, sipping tea from within the inn of Haelun'or is delivered the note. He simply grunts in reply.

"This is to be expected".

Ramza tips his hat in agreement. "It seems this gets better and better... Even as an High Elf I will not fall a stray or be lead into such ignorance of this ego war.." he sighs as he goes back to relaxing on a tree, wondering what pancakes to make.

"Have the high elves learned nothing from their past" Daren chuckles as he stands leaning at the closed gates. "Well I'm selling arrows for both sides, but half the price for the wood elves!" Daren states with a chuckle following his words.

Aryon grins, as he slams on the iron and mail in the forges. Glancing over at Phaedrus, he remembers the old days of Renatus, and how outrageous the warfare was back in Aegis.

"High Elves? More like...

...

...

Low Elves!"

Lyrell goes about his work, being appointed Okarir'mali only recently but cannot help hum along.

"Hate elmali'ame or love elmali'ame, one thing is for certain. Elmali'ame sure can sing."

Lyrell says this to anyone that is nearby, though not intentionally and continues to go on his merry way, continuing to hum along.

"Couldn't bother to fact-check enough to know Relgard and Nienna aren't married anymore. Do they even try to tell the truth?" Isabella wonders aloud. She prepares tea and cakes for a visit she knows she'll be receiving from Art.
